Primarily the story revolves around Mara and Risshi but all the previous MCs and the royal family are a big part as well. Mara tells about her life just before she was kidnapped. Her and Risshi explore their new mating and the girls decide to introduce Christmas to the Azziarins.
And the OTT traitors finally get their comeuppance!
I actually enjoyed this more than Kollin's story, mostly because both Mara and Risshi come across as more thoughtful characters.

Where's the beef?
I wanted a book. I wanted the full story of Mara and Riishi's mating, and their differences from the other characters (Riishi is a pacifist: Mara a sheltered fundamentalist preacher's daughter who nonetheless ends up unwed and pregnant) I really thought that author Hannah Davenport was going to give us a new twist on Azziarin romance. Instead, I got Christmas candy - it's sweet, makes me smile, but it's just a little smidgeon of what could have been a deliciously different holiday love feast.

Great
Perfect short story. And I love getting to know Mara’s story and it not being a full book I’m afraid it would have been a bit on the to depressing side. But this way was perfect. I absolutely can’t wait to read the next book and know more about the uncle that has caused so much hell.

awesome
i love how the mates try to explain christmas. it turns out perfect. i really lime seeing Mara and Risshi. mara's story is sad but she made it to Risshi through her hardship. i real!y need to know what is up wiyh Zekke. also. i think the king needs a mate.

This is such a sweet little story. It's nice to get the little slice of life for the mated couples and to get more of Mara's story. I love that she and Risshi end up together. The whole thing is just super sweet. Merry Christmas!

Of course crazy humans would start a Christmas tradition on another planet. The human mates with the Kings daughter conspire to kill a tree and decorate it along with the colourfully wrapped presents.

It was good
The story was a short story telling Mara and Rishi's story. It happens around Christmas time. It was really short. It could have had more to it but it was good.

This was cute. Would have liked a little more depth to it and a little more actual Christmas feel... like more human style decorating description and so on. But it was still cute!

A cute filler novella, this is an adorable novella where we learn about Mara's past and the search for the crazy uncle continues!

What?
Ok I like a novella everyone else when it gives me some side info on all the characters. However this just gave us the background on one character and in was like what. The characters seem to be doing great and Adjusting well.
