A love story. A mystery of lost artifact. A story of modern age Prince fell in love with an art curator called to catalog the antique collection belonging to Ranaut Estate. A love story weaved in with the mystery of lost and stolen artifact, a very rare Faberge. One of the rarest of its kind. It’s called The Angel with Egg in a Chariot.

I am impressed with the writing of the author. The story is a mix of mystery and romance and woven beautifully. All the characters in the book have portrayed well. The ending of the book is a bit dramatic. The story is engaging and full of romance. If you like high-octane romance reads, this is for you and the story won’t disappoint you. It’s an entertaining romance and mystery story and highly recommended for all the romance readers.

Finding the Angel is the first novel written and published by Rubina Ramesh, exclusively on Amazon. I have known Rubina to be a versatile writer since almost four years. What I find special in the author’s writing is the way she paints pictures with her words, making the reader sit up with a jerk—simply powerful.

Finding the Angel is a romance novel—about Prince Aryan of the Ranaut Dynasty and Shefali, an art curator. I was keen to read this one from the moment I read it in its brief avatar a few years ago.

The lovely Shefali is a romantic while the hot, handsome Prince Aryan comes with a baggage from his past. She has arrived at his palace at Gitanjali Devi’s behest to catalogue the artefacts of the Ranaut Dynasty. During her stay, one of the artefacts that has been in the Ranaut family for many generations, gets stolen. The theft coincides with Shefali running away from the palace to safeguard her heart from the cynical prince of Ranaut.

And that’s how she gets accused of being a thief. Aryan is torn between his attraction towards her and his basic mistrust of humanity, thanks to his ‘baggage’. And so the story goes...

I won’t say much beyond this point to avoid spoilers. What I really loved about the story is the sizzling attraction between the protagonists that’s highlighted even in their first meeting. Woof! I needed to fan myself as Aryan is draped in but a towel when he comes across the beautiful Shefali in the corridor outside his very own quarters in the Ranaut Palace. And yeah, this is where she indulges in ‘Adam teasing’ or so he accuses her. That term sure brought a smile to my face.

That’s another thing I have to mention about Author Rubina Ramesh’s writing—she comes up with the quaintest similes, mostly self-created, though totally apt.

The book takes the reader from the present to the past and back to the present, woven into a perfect tapestry.

This story so reminded me of the Mills & Boon novels that I used to devour from the 70s & 80s—you know those that had real substance in them with a strong storyline, showing us a glimpse into the culture and tradition of a place and the way of life, along with a proper love story woven in.

VERDICT: If you like to read romances set in India, with a strong storyline, then you should not miss this one.

This is a delightful romance which has all the elements that romance lovers so love. A haughty and arrogant hero (and a Rajasthani prince to boot!). A strong heroine with just that little hint of vulnerability. And the essential conflict that keeps you turning the pages to know if the two lovers in denial will get together. Apart from the internal conflict, the author adds a dose of 'external' conflict by throwing in a priceless and rare artefact that goes missing. And all this drama takes place in the palatial setting of a Rajasthani royal estate. Need one say more? It all adds up to a pacy, sexy read that will brighten up a gloomy day and bring a smile to your face. Go read it!

Finding The Angel by Rubina Ramesh
Ever since I read the blurb of this novel it was on my to be read list. I like gothic mysteries. Though, this one did not have gothic ambiance or the damsel in distress but it surely had castles, prince and stolen artefact and a head strong heroine which was enough to win me over.
Shefali is an art curator who is hired by Ranuat matriarch Gitanjali Devi to catalogue palace artefacts. Aryan is a modern day prince with his baggage. Will their love blossom or it will come under fire under external factors is what the plot is about.
Shefali was such a strong character. She was clear with what she wanted. She knew what her duties and responsibilities were. She was really good at her job as well. Aryan on the other hand had a past trauma not in his life but something which had happened with his father made him extra cautious. When two people, with such strong personalities face each other it is quite understandable that sparks will fly. But well, these two have duties as well. Shefali falls in love with Aryan but knows that he is like a forbidden fruit so she leaves her job and moves to Bombay. Unfortunately the day she leaves precious artefact, a diamond called the Angel gets stolen. And lo and behold suspicion falls on Shefali. Because she left the palace without telling anyone. Aryan follows her to Bombay and confronts her. There outwardly strong persona falls and both become vulnerable. This is what I liked about this book. My favourite section where their love makes them vulnerable but not crippled. I won't talk much about it otherwise I'll end up giving a spoiler. let's talk about plot instead. Plot is good. Whole stolen artefact takes story to another dimension. I wished that part was explored bit more.
I loved Shefali. She was very strong and good character. Aryan I felt was too brooding but with the trauma he suffered that was understandable. Geetanjali Devi, came across as a perfect regal character.
Narrative moves slowly and steadily which was comforting and soothing to read. Language is lucid.
It is recommended to those who are looking for a royal romance without worrying about battles and other gore elements.

This is a contemporary fiction with an amazing blend of romance and suspense genre. The book focuses on two characters mainly, they are-
Shefali, a young girl who was in love with the concept of romance. She had lost her parents at an young age. She wishes for someone on whom she can rely on and subsequently become her comfort zone to ease her difficult times. She had love for art too thus she was working as an art curator for the Ranaut Dynasty.
Aryan Ranaut is the Prince of the Ranaut Dynasty. He is the most eligible bachelor in the town. Aryan has his own past and now he doesn't trust none.
Just when the plot was getting better and we thought the lead characters might fall for eachother then the twist of stolen artifact named Angel came in the story. The blame of this missing art piece is put on Shefali, but is she the actual culprit or there's more behind the scene?
Aryan, being the responsible Prince, and Shefali, being the accused, are entangled in the series of events to find out the truth behind this missing artifact.
The plot mainly focuses on the character development of the lead characters and their relationship to eachother. The book is being layered nicely with the romance, suspense and mystery. Shefali is the typical girl who wants to fall in love yet she is potraited as a determinate female character in the plot which was a treat to read, plus Aryan is the perfect prince who is sincere and noble. The book didn't compromise on the quantity of romance as the romantic relationship between these two shined throughout different scenarios in the plot, which was definitely a good point of the book.
The characters involved in the book are well potraited and each has been given sufficient scope to contribute to the plot. The language used is lucid. The narration of the book is kept simple and easy making it a comfortable read for all the readers.

My Honest Review:

Finding the Angel is second book of the author which I have read. The Knitted Tales was a collection of heart and soul touching stories. But Finding The Angel is typical run out of mill, Mills & Boons type story, with suspense as main hero and romance and relationships as supporting cast.
Though I loved the plot, story and the well-developed characters, it's bit difficult to digest Aryan’s attitude towards Shefali. He was such a confused character that his behavior in some scenes seemed to be obnoxious. Also would have loved to know how does the thief manage to steal The Angel without anyone noticing it?

Except for these two things, Finding The Angel is a fast paced romantic story, with suspense as the main lead. But once you start reading, you just can’t put the book down until you finish reading till the end. I would like to add one line about Rubina, she can write any genre with equal flair and excel in it. Keep the good work and keep us hooked to your work.

This Book changed into one of a kind from the same old books I actually have examine in a long time. It's a lovable story and creates the imagery of an aesthetic placing at some stage in analyzing it.
The protagonists of the story are Shefali, an artc curator in the Ranaut Dynasty and Aryan, a younger and rushing prince.
After dropping his father to a cruel woman, Aryan had difficulty trusting human beings and even with time, it didn't get a good deal higher. Aryan falls in love with Shefali, and just while the whole thing became getting close to a luckily ever after, boom, some thing needed to move wrong.
When she realises her feelings for Aryan she comes to a decision to go away to Mumbai as she would not need her emotions to have an effect on her paintings. But quickly she is accused of stealing the Ranaut dynasty's circle of relatives heirloom, The Angel, a which turned into a legend among artwork collectors.
Aryan is torn among his attraction towards her and his basic distrust of human beings.
Will they discover who stole the Angel, together? Is there a true thankfully ever after for Aryan and Shefail? To realize, examine this high-quality e-book. Highly recommended!

A mystery coupled with sizzling romance is any day more thrilling than HEA type stories flooding the market. This is exactly what Rubina Ramesh has done so effectively with this story to keep you glued to the book. It is not easy to comment upon the works of an accomplished writer of her merit, but I will give it a try in my humble way. Her rich prose, laced with subtle humour, is praiseworthy. The fast paced tale is loaded with good measure of suspense to keep you engaged till the very end.
Aryan is a true blood Rajasthani prince charming, arrogant to the core and self-important, who found it difficult to admit that he was falling for a curator girl, Shefali, assigned to evaluate some rare artefacts belonging to Ranaut Dynasty. The high spirited girl, and somewhat vulnerable, Shefali too is instantly smitten by the hot prince. Despite the scorching chemistry, however, the two remain in constant state of denial for longer than one would like to believe. The spanner in the works was probably provided by the missing treasure that lead to dramatic twists and turns in the tale, culminating finally into a predictable ending.
In conclusion, a nice book to read on a cold winter night.

I recently read „Knitted Tales“ by Rubina Ramesh and loved her collection of short stories so much that I decided to buy this book too. It is her first romance novel, and here’s hoping it won’t be her last.

I’m currently writing royal romance novels, so reading about a modern-day Indian prince and his family sounded like paradise. It did enjoy the glimpses of their lives immensely. Without wasting precious moments on too many descriptions, the author brought the palace and its setting to life. Aryan did act like a prince with a rakish edge and was an interesting hero. I think, like Shefali, first I fell in lust with him and then I began to like and love him. Cleverly done! As for Shefali, I admired her courage and her passion. She had a vulnerable side too, but that didn’t keep her from using her brain and trying to stand her ground against Aryan sensual onslaughts and all the other people meddling with her life. The prince’s family was fascinating to read about and provided the perfect backdrop, though I would have liked to learn a little more about them and especially about the past and mysterious connection to the stolen Angel.

The title is a great idea, as it can mean more than the obvious thing and is also a recurring symbol in the story, especially towards the ending. Speaking of the ending, it was no huge surprise, but well executed and everything the hero and heroine could have wished for. The chemistry between Shefali and Aryan was sizzling, the steamy scenes between them hot but tasteful. Sometimes I almost wished they were a little less, for their powerful attraction to each other caused the protagonists to behave a bit abruptly sometimes. Their constant on and off, hot and cold, yes and no kept me on my toes.

If you enjoy love stories set in India, a glimpse of royalty and riches, and a story that holds its own against a dozen movies and soap operas, then give this debut a try. Its simple language, fast pace and sensual scenes make it a winner.

The love story of a prince charming and a pretty girl next door is intriguing. As this is a modern day romance prince charming comes in a private jet and not on horse. Though he rides a horse.

Faberge the angel is a rare diamond. It is property of Aryan Ranuat the prince. Shefali works for an auction house and is called by Gitanjali Devi to catalogue the artefacts in the fort. Gitanjali Devi is friend of Kalpana who brought up Shefali. Shefali comes to fort is enamoured by Aryan’s charms. They come close briefly and then the unthinkable happens. Angel is stolen and by chance Shefali leaves fort the same time. She does not inform anyone. Aryan is furious and thinks that she did it. He goes to Bombay after her and confronts her. She denies everything of course but finds Aryan irresistable. They share a uneasy romance and what happens next? Will they recover Angel and unite or go apart?

Now a days there is a trend of showing broken, psychologically damaged characters. The best part about this book is that characters are normal human beings. Although Aryan has some trust issues due to the trapping of his father by a beautiful seductress, he is still normal. He is just cautious and rightly so. He is rich and successful and the world is full of gold diggers. He is bold, courageous, arrogant, haughty, considerate and romantic deep down. He is hesitant to commit despite his obvious love (lust is part of that) for Shefali.

Shefali is an orphan raised by Kalpana. She is dedicated to his job and highly cautious. She feels indebted to Kalpana and when the scandal threatens the firm she panics. She goes along bullying of Aryan for two pronged reasons: her love and prestige of Kalpana. She is very good at her job and that is why the bad guys feels threatened when she enters the fort.

The supporting cast is good. Gitanjali Devi is typical queen. She is magnanimous, pragmatic and caring. Her daughter and son in law are playing their part.

The romance is first rate. Rubina brought out the romantic feelings of Shefali beautifully. I am not a girl but am pretty sure that is how a young girl in love feels. Though Aryan emotions are not dealt in detail. The mystery of missing Angel and fake artefacts is not hard to decipher. But then it is a romance and not mystery.

I give the book 5/ 5 stars.

P.S. Writing a book is a tedious job and labour of love. Views in the review are personal and with full respect to the hard work put in by the author. Please like/ comment/ mark helpful the review if you feel so.

When trust is broken, you ask yourself, ‘Am I being a fool for trusting again?’ ‘Will I get hurt again?’. People block themselves from trusting again because it feels so painful and you feel vulnerable to do so after it has been broken.

The story revolves around two protagonists named Shefali and Aryan. Shefali is a young, slim girl with white complexion and curly hair and with an extremely sweet and kind nature. She lost her parents in a car accident when she was 12. At that time nobody was ready to take the responsibility of a twelve years old girl then Kalpana has stepped in her life and took Shefali under her wing.

Shefali works as an art curator at Ranaut Dynasty. She dreams of a person on whom she can rely on and trust blindly. On the other hand is Aryan Ranaut, prince of the Ranaut Dynasty who was given the title of Youngest Entrepreneur. Aryan's family had been a victim of a woman who seduced aryan's father away from him due to which he never trusts anyone.

Shefali falls in love with Aryan but she was knowing that this will never take a good turn and she will be just a passing interest in his life. So she left the job instantly without any notice and thought of moving back to Mumbai. As soon as she quits Ranaut Dynasty, something happens on that day . Precious fabergé egg, The Angel went missing. Shefali is accused of stealing the beautiful
fabergè egg from the Ranaut royals. Prince Aryan, the heir of the family is after Shefali to get it back.

What will happen next?
Is shefali anywhere linked with the case?

The author has written the story so well. The language used is simple. All the characters are very well developed. Amongst all the characters in the story, i liked Aryan alot. I loved the plot and the writing style. Such an engaging story

The book justifies its title in a subtle and substantial way. It can be called as a reflection of human complexity of love which is sometimes misunderstood in the pursuit of happiness disguised in people. Shefali- the protagonist withholds love for art in herself looking ahead in her life when she meets Aryan and her life takes an insightful turn. ⁣

The narration and plot in itself shows no complexity and is easy in comprehension. Thoughts of the author behind the book shows an embodiment of certain visualisation which can be heartfelt when one delves into the book with affection.

Through the protagonist, the author explores the contrast of destiny and love stating that destiny conspires for those who are in love. The story incorporates many motivational and thought provoking insights within the eyes of the characters thus making it an engaging read!⁣

Realistically, fantasy is true in its own imagination but this book is sure to make the reader delve into the impenetrable depths of flourishing afterthoughts which the story has to offer. This book is a one sitting read given the fact that its lucidity is commendable.

The book is recommended for those who are willing to take up some heartwarming emotions to action!⁣

Finding the angel by Rubina Ramesh is a sizzling romance novel with a mixture of mystery coupled with each other. This novel narrates the life of two different individuals who are dealing with their own owes, but only thing is that their way of dealing is different.

Blended with emotions and love, this novel will touch you to the core. Finding the Angel is a story where duty clashes with love and lack of trust overrides passion between Shefali and Prince Aryan Ranaut. Under these circumstances, can The Angel bring the star-crossed lovers together? Every scene unfolds very realistically. There were places in the book where I really wanted to whack both Prince Aryan and Shefali, one on their heads. Him for being so mean and irritating and her for not whacking him herself.

The author has woven an engaging story with a praiseworthy ending. How much I loved it! I loved how the climax came up. With lucid writing and artistic usage of words, this book keeps one flipping the pages of the book. The emotions, the actions of the characters all make you feel as if you were right there in the book itself. I really commend how beautifully the author has built up the plot leading up to its end.

Finding the Angel is the debut full length romance by Rubina Ramesh and after reading it, I must say the author has found her place. The story is rightly paced, neither too fast nor too slow. The hero, arrogant, attractive and damaged - the stuff fantasy is made of (though you wouldn’t like them in real life), is bent upon retribution. He's portrayed as a man with loose morals and little respect for the heroine. However, the heroine's love transforms him. A mystical touch to the traditional heirloom makes its reference in the book more meaningful. Enjoy a glimpse of Indian royalty and sinful luxury in this blow-hot-blow-cold love story.

I thought I’d take a nap. Then I remembered that I had this new book, “Finding the Angel” by Rubina Ramesh. I thought I’d read a bit till I dozed off. One hour later, nap time was over and so was the book.
What struck me was that those of us who love reading romance, always look to the west for our princes. Mills & Boons are packed with princes from mysterious countries. And here finally we have our Prince Charming or should I say Uncharming, right here in India.
Whenever I review a book, I don’t just look at the story and so though the title, “Finding the Angel” felt like more of a mystery, the book is an all and all out love story.
It’s a really quick read and had me gripped because the author has a way of writing that pulls you into the story. Every scene unfolds very realistically. The emotions, the actions of the characters all make you feel as if you were right there in the book itself.
There were places in the book where I really wanted to whack both Prince Aryan and Shefali, one on their heads. Him for being so mean and irritating and her for not whacking him herself.
I am definitely looking forward to more books from Rubina Ramesh.

"Finding The Angel" is the story of how a young Art Historian, Shefali, gets employed in a Royal Indian Household to study and take care of the precious Art Pieces in possession of the Royal Family, but soon lands herself into trouble. An extremely precious artifact is stolen from the palace, and unfortunately the video evidence places the blame on her. This situation is worsened by the fact that she has fallen in love with the Prince, Aaryan Ranaut, who has reciprocated her feelings but is now acting cold because he is convinced she did actually steal the artifact. Thus, we are taken through the roller-coaster of emotions that Shefali undergoes in order to prove her innocence and to win over the love of her life.

I would categorize the book as a Romance, because the depiction of the relationship between Shefali and Aaryan and their passionate interactions is focused on more in this book, than the mysterious aspect of finding the stolen artifact, named the Angel. The Author has written the story in such a way that we feel all the romantic emotions and the relationship struggles, while not completely ignoring the central plot point of Finding the Angel.

Overall, I liked the book. The language used is quite comfortable, and the imagery in the Author's words is beautiful. One aspect I did not like was the lack of timeline markers. The book is written in a skewed chronology, with flashbacks put in at places. It's not that I don't enjoy such a arrangement, but in the book I felt like it was hard at places to understand when the timeline shifted, or when we entered a flashback. This might be due to the fact that the book is relatively fast-paced, so the author didn't want to break that flow by constantly establishing the timeline, and I understand that as a Reader.

Would recommend this book to people looking for a light read, with a passionate love story and a little bit of mystery.

I was thrilled to be asked to review Finding the Angel via a copy provided by the author because I had read the “Look Inside” section of the book and was already intrigued. And I was not disappointed. Set in contemporary Bombay and in the royal palace of the Ranaut family, this debut novel is a sizzling interplay between a feisty heroine and an arrogant hero. Shefali is an art curator who falls in love with Aryan, the Prince of the Ranaut dynasty while cataloging their artifacts. But just as the love (lust?) becomes too much for her, she runs away. Unfortunately, her sudden departure coincides with the disappearance of The Angel, the Faberge which has been in the Ranaut family for generations. With the burden of being considered a thief and the resultant effects of the company she works for, Shefali must find a way to redeem herself in the eyes of the man she loves, who is sure of her guilt.
I particularly liked the warmth of Aryan’s relationship with his mother, and Shefali’s with her Auntie, and the subtle secondary character of the Ranaut family servant, Harilal.
The attraction, anger, lust, and repartee between the protagonists, as well as the spicy and sizzling love scenes, are sure to whet your appetite if you like romances set in contemporary India, with a bit of ‘royal’ intrigue thrown in. It will carry you through ups and downs of a thrilling romance and lead to a satisfying end.

Finding The Angel is an out and out love story, a sweet romance and a fast-paced thrilling chase to find the Fabergé Egg and a possible killer. Finding The Angel has all the elements of an entertaining, absorbing read with a bit of family love adding to the mix.

I have been reading Rubina’s stories and short fiction since I found the world of blogging five years ago. I was eager to read a romance from Rubina and when she asked me to proofread the book for her, I was impressed with the storyline. I have always been fascinated by her writing and the twists she spins in her stories. Her earlier book of short stories Knitted Tales has been gathering a lot of fans and stars and I was expecting traces of suspense in Finding The Angel as well but she has proved her versatility as a writer with this book.

Aryan and Shefali meet each other and the sparks are flying with hot chemistry that is at the core of a good romance. I enjoyed their interactions, both of them trying to find their balance and yet falling hard for each other.

Aryan, the handsome prince and debonair hero with the responsibility of a dynasty on his shoulders. He is a true blue Mills and Boon hero and if like me you love romance and the ‘dear old M&Bs’ you will love him and this book as well.

Shefali is a sweet, gentle, kind hearted, beautiful orphan. She is hard working and honest and agrees to Aryan’s plans to do her best to find the missing heirloom.

The book is a quick read with a fast-paced story, great chemistry between the lead pair and supporting characters that are begging for their own stories. The suspense and mystery of the Fabergé Egg adds to the quaint charm of the book and adds a regal touch to the story.

A hint of heartbreak, a touch of deceit, a glimpse of the debauchery of royalty and a love that binds the threads together into a striking story. Finding the Angel is a well-written book and leaves the reader with a smile.

I've known the writer for quite a while now and have interacted with her over social media. Having not read her previous works, this book came as a complete surprise for me. The book turned out to be an interesting and un-put-downable read.

The story revolves around an alleged theft and an intense royal love affair. The story begins with an antique piece being stolen. Shefali, the art curator is accused of stealing the beautiful piece of art, the fabarge from the Ranaut royals. Prince Aryan, the heir of the family is after Shefali to retrieve it back. However, as expected, Shefali isn't the actual culprit. What unfolds is a high speed story with a dash of romance.

The main characters - Shefali and Aryan, along with the other sub characters were sketched out very clearly with enough information being given about each of them. Done to perfection would be the apt phrase to describe it.

The plot as such was well thought of with critical elements like romance and suspense incorporated in correct amount into the story. However, the dynamism is what I found a little unsettling. Aryan was the typical hot headed prince who didn't bother to check his facts thoroughly before trying to accuse someone of theft, but the moment he finds out the truth he simply melts and changes his stand. Barring this slight hitch, this book was perfect read.

Brownie points to the author for the perfect cover!

I grew up on a diet of romance novels and there is nothing I enjoy more than a happily ever after. Finding the Angel took me back to the novels I used to devour back in the day when I spun fantasies of my own sure to be passionate, fiery romance.
Aryan and Shefali were absolutely worth the time taken to delve into their lives. Aryan especially is a true blue romance hero....broody, arrogant, smouldering and under it all a good guy. He certainly stole a teeny weeny piece of my heart.
I liked the plot, the romance and the royal backdrop. All of which were executed very well by Rubina. If I had one fleeting moment of disappointment, it was that I guessed the villain before the grand reveal.
All in all a great introduction to a wonderful new author....Rubina, please keep writing so I can keep adding your books to my TBR pile.

When the Angel steals the heart!
*** a little spoiler in store ;-)
Shefali Verma and Aryan Ranaut when together they sizzle the frame of your imagination.
From their meeting in the Palace, to their sparring with words and at times with … ahem …kisses, Shefali and Aryan just know how to let that tingly feeling in your stomach never to die.
The Fabergé had been a fascination for many but what no one would expect is a Fabergé egg becoming an Angel in Shefali and Aryan’s life.
A good romance read with a royal dose. Grab some coffee or so e chocolates and grab the book and have some great fun reading the sparring of the Royal Aryan and romantic Shefali.

A feel good love story.

I don't normally enjoy reading shorter length novels, since there isn't enough character development or a believable bonding between the MCs. But Shefali and Aryan's story had the right amount of romance, intrigue and angst that I thoroughly enjoyed. Rubina Ramesh, keep them coming!

“Finding the Angel” is a novel by Rubina Ramesh, the founding member of The Book Club. And there was no chance that I would miss reading this book.

‘The Angel’ mentioned in the title is a rare artifact that goes missing from the Ranuat Dynasty home and the entire plot revolves around finding it, with a passionate love story between a love stuck art curator and an arrogant prince running parallel. Shefali is an art curator by profession who has lost her parents at an early age. She is a person driven by love. A modern day prince, Aryan Ranuat is a charming, womanizer who is arrogant and has major trust issues due to his father. Both are damaged in their own ways. The flames spark between them from the minute they meet but as fate has it they can’t be together, neither can they be apart.

The passion shared between the leads clearly comes across to the reader. I loved how courageous and bold Shefali’s character was. More than the suspense the love story made an impact on me. The book was correctly paced with no pointless descriptions. It was crisp and to the point. The narration maneuvered between past and the present. I wouldn’t say that the transition was seamless. It was confusing at few points but after reading a bit more the time of incidence taking place became clear.

I loved the story and I personally think that it would make a great Bollywood movie. Once I started the book, it was very difficult to put it aside. I would recommend this book those on the watch out for a royal love story with a suspense angle to it.

Grandeur, beauty, knowledge and the adrenaline rush, you get it all here, while you are ‘Finding the Angel’. Though a romance novel, this story has much more to offer than just love between the hero and heroine, peppered with dollops of passionate encounters between them. There is a depth in the story, as you set to read it and oscillate between the royal world charm of Ranaut and the mundane Mumbai.

The author has successfully caught the reader by the grip as she starts with a stolen piece of antique. While reading the book, one is constantly on the lookout for clues to the thief. While all fingers point at the heroine, it is left for the readers to keep guessing whether she is the cunning vamp disguised as the heroine or she is actually the naïve heroine who has walked into a trap set for her.

While enjoying this royal journey, one gets glimpses of the aristocratic lives of the erstwhile royal families and how they fit into today’s life. A detailed description of antiques and their origin is also discussed, which lends an old world charm to the book. Overall, it’s a beautiful read with a right balance of romance, passion, adventure, thrill and suspense.

I have read other books by the author and have especially enjoyed her suspense thriller stories, and it is a pleasure to see that even while writing a romance she has managed to maintain an element of suspense so that even a non-romance fan finds it easy to get hooked on to it.

Rubina Ramesh is a fantastic story-teller .Finding the Angel is her second book .With this book she has proved to be the Angel of all the romantic tales .

“Finding the Angel” is the story of Shefali and Aryan and their tryst to be each other′s soul mates is clearly written in a fairy tale kind of fashion . For me Shefali ′s character felt like Cinderella .

The emotions of characters in this book are very well explained .I love the style in which Rubina has explained desk of Aryan′s library room.

What caught my attention is the ‘Finding The Angel ’ scene where Aryan ′ s duty towards his family rules over his heart .

What I did not like : Aryan confessing his love immediately after hurting Shefali′s so badly and Shefali saying ‘Yes’ to him after his confusion .

Since there is no in dynamism .I still do not understand why Aryan hurts Shefali without understanding anything , is it mark of being royal prince .

Anyways the book is worth reading over and over for Aryan′s character .

A sexy, saucy tale set against a royal backdrop

A castle. High stone walls. An Adonis draped in a white towel who is our hero Aryan, the prince of the Ranaut Dynasty. Priceless artifacts including a Fabergé egg, known as the Angel, which unfortunately goes missing. And the prime suspect? None other than the curator of these treasures, our sensitive and true blue heroine Shefali. Aryan distrusts her, scarred by the behavior of another beautiful woman who had seduced his father away from his family. Shefali is torn between attraction and anger at the playboy who accuses her time and again of having stolen the egg. The conflict is strong, the emotions stronger, and we turn the pages rapidly, engrossed in this tale of intrigue, treachery and heady passion. A friendly warning! If you start reading this book, you will not be able to put it down until the end. Highly recommended for romance readers.

STORY-LINE :- Interesting, intriguing and riveting. The plot is strong and the author has done full justice to it. There is subtle romance as well as suspense.

There are some twists that will leave you guessing and when the suspense breaks you can’t help say, ‘Oh!My God, was …. the main culprit….’ The author has not only been able to get across the brewing romance between Shefali and Aryan Ranaut well, but has also managed to keep the mystery surrounding the loss of ‘The Angel’ well under wraps till the end.

CHARACTERIZATION :- All the characters are well developed. Speaking of the main protagonists Shefali and Aryan Ranaut to me Shefali came across as a strong girl, one not easily cowed down by threats. Aryan Ranaut comes across as an arrogant and confused man. He is one who is hell-bent on thinking in just one direction regarding the loss of the artifact but is at the same time in two minds when it comes to his feelings for Shefali.

LANGUAGE :- Simple and crisp. Word power is the author’s strong point and I must admit that she has taken full advantage of it in ‘Finding the Angel.’ This makes the book a truly enjoyable read.

PACE: – Fast and even paced. Hence one is able to finish it in just one sitting without wanting to put it down.

VERDICT

An easy yet, thrilling one. In the first instance itself the cover design and blurb are sure to tempt you to pick it up. Don’t hesitate. The inside is as good as the outside.
