With the arrival of a powerful new threat in orbit around Earth, the Alliance is forced to vacate Earth space while a small group stays behind to ensure humanity isn’t enslaved or worse, wiped out. Meanwhile, the rest of the fleet splits into separate missions, each of them vital in rebuilding the Earth Alliance forces and strengthening what’s left of the fleet. Sarah, Chris and Daniel follow a lead to a remote part of space in the hope of establishing a dialogue with the Asgardians, unaware of the dangers that await them upon arrival.
Chase’s visit to Olympus to meet with Zeus doesn’t go as planned but he learns crucial information that could turn the tides of the Fury war. Chase soon realizes that to achieve a permanent alliance with Olympus; he will have to deal with a deadly new foe, one powerful enough to cancel out his Ultra Fury powers.
Aided by an abundance of Sci-Fi characters with supernatural powers, Bestselling Sci-Fi author Christian Kallias has a secret. He lives two lives. One in the real world and one inside his own creations, in worlds where he can lay down the foundation of his universes for both his and your enjoyment. Guess which one he prefers?
Christian Kallias is the bestselling author of the award-winning Universe in Flames Space Opera series.
This was an absolutely fantastic read! Once again, Kallias' imagination seems to know no limits. The action scenes were breathtaking and have created indelible images in my mind that are reminiscent of legendary scifi movies. Kallias is an extremely talented author and I look forward to the next installment in his series. I received a free copy of this book and chose voluntarily to review it.
I am currently reading Christian Kallias' series Universe In Flames, and I simply cannot put my Kindle down for more than a few minutes. The whole series is well built from the beginning, and the plot twists and turns catch this reader by surprise pretty much every time. That never gets old!
This series is as good now as right at the start. The book moves the story along to Olympus and a meeting with Zeus, an encounter with a really and two more powerful enemies. Great story .with lots of action, emotion and tension. More and More with never a break from the stress. Highly recommended
Again I am repeating myself this is another good book in this series keeps you4 interest going along with leaving you hanging at the end so your looking forward to the next book Thank you
Book 6 in the Universe in Flames series keeps up the pace
Chase and the gang keep moving from one problem to the next as they seek to bring together an alliance. Defeating the Furies will not be easy. Chase will need as much help as he can find.
My head is spinning, as if fighting the Furies isn't enough, there is an insane A.I. thrown into the mix. It's like taking a trip down the rabbit hole and ending up in Narnia, with the addition of huge explosions and a lot of blood. I have read this far in the series in a matter of days and get more involved in the story the more I read. It is riveting.
Kindle Unlimited, tho first one might be permafree or whatever. Space opera plus, think that is the 'genre' if you have to have one. I liked it, it having a little bit of almost everything and even some humor although noticed one of the reviews {which only glance at and only after already reading the book} said might have been unintentional...but to my way of thinking maybe the reader just found it humorous. As far as things not being realistic or whatever, well it's space opera and we are not in space for real yet so who knows, besides perhaps the writers of doctor who or star trek or the like, I mean come on Olympian Gods and you are just at what point thinking some things aren't 'real' enough
Earth Last Sanctuary (Universe in Flames Book 1) Fury to the Stars (Universe in Flames Book 2) Destination Oblivion (Universe in Flames Book 3) The Beginning of the End (Universe in Flames Book 4) Rise of the Ultra Fury (Universe in Flames Book 5) Shadows of Olympus (Universe in Flames Book 6) Armageddon Unleashed (Universe in Flames Book 7)
I feel like each of his book in this series are improving upon the last one. At times they seem unimaginative, repetitive in nature. But they are improving. I am hoping to share these with my son.
Chase and his crew have to visit Zeus, but as always it needs a battle for allies to work together. But the battle with Gaia 2 has taken a turn for the worse. Can Chase fight all these battle at once.
The battle continues. Chase is growing stronger, but the battles are more complicated, his family, friends and colleagues are fighting on all fronts to bring an end to the Fury menace, hoping to gather forces to help rid the galaxy of a foe long considered dead. Not only do they have to deal with the Fury, but a rogue AI who is determined to wipe out mankind for, as she sees it, causing damage to planet Earth endangering Earth's flora and fauna. Christian Kallias does it again in style, new characters, a new foe and a long running battle for the Earth Alliance. Chris' Imagination and prose, puts you there with his characters. For the first time I cried when reading a dialogue between former enemies, Chris' writing pulls you along on a fantastic voyage, you can't help feeling empathy for his characters, it's just impossible. I thought this was the end of the space opera, so I'm very pleased to find out, number 7 is on the way! Bring it on. Can't wait.
A group is trying to save earth, but everyone else has to vacate. An amazing space story that keeps you reading until the end and then you want it to keep going. Will the group be able to save earth in time. Couldn't put the book down
