I found this book very useful in thinking about managing a graduate assistant. There are practical tools (e.g., questions to use in forming a learning contract and an example of one) and reflection questions throughout that would be helpful for current graduate students in higher education programs.

Great primer for supervising an intern.

Provided clear, and specific ways to drastically improve an interns experience. The perspectives of the student, faculty and staff were very insightful.
