Clair De Lune a young woman, who works at a small town café in the middle of nowhere, likes to live her life off of the radar. One afternoon that all changes when a wildly handsome mysterious suit wearing gentleman walks into her café. Intrigued to know more about the gorgeous enigmatic stranger, when he extends an invite to the masquerade ball later that night, she decides to meet him. Soon Clair finds that there just might be more to him than meets the human eye. Is Clair ready to step into his magical world of passion?

A supernatural delight!
Clair De Lune is a woman who leads a quiet life. She works and goes about her business without raising questions, and generally keeps herself to herself, until the day he walks in.
He's a well-dressed, charming gentleman who immediately catches her eye, and the air of mystery surrounding him intrigues her, so when he invites her to a masquerade ball later that same night she's excited.
Who is he?
Should she go?
When he sends her the means to be able to attend she's thrilled and the decision is made. Her reaction to him is unusual. His to her is just the same. All she needs to do now is find out what he is, and when she does, will she be able to handle it?
The Order of Moonlight (Book one) is a wonderful start to what I'm sure will be a great series. Lexi Miles has envisioned a tale of the supernatural that will delight, filled with well rounded characters and storyline that keeps you turning the pages. I look forward to the next installment I can take a bite out of.

Really original and unique love story about vampire and his lover. Advice to read!
I like that Lexi Miles books are really unique. Any story is written in its own original way.
Just amazing!
I was captivated to read about Claire and Galaxy - really unique names for the characters I must say - who really made me immerse in their passion and also feel the fantasy's world. Plus I enjoyed the description of the heroes' emotions or motions, really beautiful, and words that Lexi used for that.
I have only one question - since Claire knew that she is special and can do some really magical things and influence on Galaxy, couldn't she hurt him? I bother about only that!
I also loved hot scenes, they were really tensive.

Summary
Clair De Lune has been looking over her shoulder for years. She’s been running from something a lot worse than just her past. One day during a shift, a stranger appears in the diner she works in. Usually Clair would be on edge when someone like him showed up, but for some reason Clair finds herself captivated by the devilishly handsome man who goes by G. However, when this appealing creature gives Clair an invitation to join him, she finds herself at a crossroads. She knows that she should make the smart decision by playing it safe, packing up her life there and leaving the small town she has been hiding in. But she finds this decision conflicts with what her heart wants to do which is accept the intriguing Mr. G’s invitation. What will Clair discover if she decides to follow her heart?
Review Notes:
So let me just be honest with you, I love vampire novels. I especially love them when they have a romance at the center of them. And I’m sure like me you know that there are plenty out there on the market to buy. So with such an overcrowded market of this genre, I was pleasantly surprised to find one that was unique. The Order of Moonlight by Lexi Miles accomplishes something most books in this genre don’t, it redefines and reshapes the reader’s ideas of what this genre of vampire romance can be. Like a vampire can bend the limits of human reality, Lexi Miles is able to bend the limits of the vampire lure and blend it with a smoking hot romance seamlessly.
This novel is supported with a strong story of mystery and intrigue which makes it enjoyable so much so I was compelled to not want to put down the book until I completed it. And once I had completed it because of the truly unexpected twist in the plot (which of course I’m not going to reveal here) I found myself wanting to go back and read it again and again to enjoy the little hidden tidbits Lexi has placed throughout this spell-binding tale.
Also, Lexi does an excellent job laying out a story which leaves the reader anticipating the next book in the series of the Moonlight Order. Not all authors can convey such a well written story and set up things for a sequel as effortlessly as Lexi did here in The Order of Moonlight.
Overall, The Order of Moonlight is a smooth read infused with Lexi’s ingenious brand of humor and smoldering sex scenes that make me want to crossover and become a vampire myself. Lexi Miles stated that this book is unlike any other vampire story out there and she made sure this book delivered on that statement.
So, if you love vampires, romance, or vampire romance, I highly recommend you pick up this book, The Order of Moonlight by Lexi Miles. I’m assure you, you’ll love it!
