Very recently enjoyed a visit to the spectacular Dan yr Ogof showcaves. Picked this up to learn kore of its history and discovery. It’s quite dry and boring reading. Things picked up as the pace of discoveries in the narrative also picked up. Maybe because that where the authors personal involvement with the discoveries came along. There were some amazing pictures. I really admire anyone who can go cave exploring, as there’s no way I could ever go squeezing through the crawl spaces or go diving.
