The hot sequel to the bestselling Gravitation manga series! In order to heal the wounds in his heart, Eiri Yuki and his vocalist lover, Shuichi, travel to New York to visit the grave of Yuki's first love and tormentor, Yuki Kitagawa. But once there, they make a startling discovering that will change their lives...forever! The eagerly awaited sequel to the shonen-ai smash hit begins right here!
Cute and sweet, and very funny! I really enjoyed it, although it was somewhat different from previous Gravitation books. There was a lot more melodrama, and at times it came off like a contrived soap opera script, interspersed with battle scenes against paparazzi, but the fluff was wonderfully fluffy and the comedy was hilarious. There seemed to be a bit more development to Yuki's character, but nothing at all definite. It seems clear by the end of the book that this is meant to be part of a series, and I'm very disappointed that Murakami-sensei has stopped writing and left us wondering about the fate of Yuki and Shindo. I really hope she decides to start writing again and finishes this, because though I really enjoyed reading this volume, it felt very incomplete in the end, and its good enough that it deserves to be completed. Criticism aside, I very much enjoyed it!
The coninuation of Gravitation after the 12 book series ends. The art is alot softer and more child like, but you still will love the characters despite the art change.
I love this Series, even if its crazier than the previous part. Its amazing how different Murakami Makis Drawing Style became. Just wow. Only her Doujinshi Art is better.
I'm done! This was the last of the Gravitation volumes I got for free, and now I'll never have to read this series again. Sweet release!
I was hoping the tone of the series would change with this "spin-off", or, you know, that something, anything would change, but it's still the same overexaggerated nonsense that doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I'm not into it.
In this sequel to the smash-hit boys' love Gravitation series, Shuichi and Eiri have just married at the end of the first season... but now they already have to take care of a kid?! On top of that, it's Yuki Kitazawa's bastard son! And the cherry on top of it all is that Ryuichi Sakuma is proclaiming that he is in love with Shuichi and then kisses him! Baby-sitting the kid of the man your husband murdered, cheating with your idol and rival, marriage is just another exciting leap in the world of Gravitation!
Despite my expectations from the art style, not much else is different from the original story. Only, this is much less serious than the last four or so volumes of the first season. Although, Murakami-sensei did state somewhere in this book that Gravitation EX(tra) is a sequel for closure. Hmm. Because of that, I certainly didn't expect Eiri to almost lose his eyes. This was a mildly exciting volume! But the original will always be the best! Especially since this is written ALMOST as well as your common doujinshi...
