I have previously read each of the books in this box set. A copy of each book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read each book and my comments here are my honest opinion.
Review for Great Disapurrance
Arlen likes to work alone; his life is dangerous and violent. There is not a mission that he has failed and he was not going to falter on this one, not on getting his target and certainly not on letting his heat get in the way of it, even if it was making him question his decisions. Taking Sienna from Holland had been a terrible plan and now she was turning out to be an even bigger distraction. Sienna calmed his tiger and Arlen’s presence had an inexplicably strange effect on her, but Sienna didn’t want to be Arlen’s bargaining chip: she had sworn a long time ago to never again let a man control her life. Holland has already violated her free will. It had not been easy for Sienna to strike out on her own when she was 18, leaving behind a life of wealth to make something of herself, while hiding from her father, but the awful memories were a source of strength, rather than a reminder of weakness. All she wanted was a life of her own where she could make her own decisions and live by her own rules. Just a few months ago, Sienna had been the happy owner of her very own massage parlor. It had been her dream, her passion and through her hard work and determination she had made it a reality, with good, reliable clientele and then Holland had come and taken it all away from her. But Sienna isn’t safe, not from Holland, The Firm or her own father, all of whom have ulterior motives as far as she is concerned. Arlen knows that Sienna is his mate, even if she doesn’t know it yet, and he will do everything possible to protect her. But he has to complete his mission first.
Review for Lessons in Purrsuasion
Being retired at 30 had not been in Stone’s plans, but now Joe is asking for his help. While trying to stand up to the Crimson Claws, Selina is kidnapped and taken to Parker; rather than killing her, he tells her she is to be his mate. Stone tracks down Selina and rescues her but all too soon someone is on their trail. Kate, Stone’s ex-girlfriend, is the only one he can turn to for help. Selina has suddenly and unceremoniously been introduced to a world she is not sure she wants any part of, and the only way out is through the same people who both intrigue and scare her. All Selina knows about Stone is that he used to be her brother’s friend in the Navy and he is a hitman; he has also risked his life to save her from Parker and she couldn’t deny the intoxicating affect he has on her; she is drawn to a violent, dangerous man, who she has known for a matter of days, not realising she is his mate. Parker is relentless in his pursuit of Selina; his reputation with the Crimson Claws is on the line, so he elicits Kate’s help in finding Stone and Selina. Richard is in love with Kate and makes a tough call to protect her, but instead only implicates her and his actions have consequences. Stone has a plan, but for it to work it all hinges on the element of surprise. Parker has the upper hand because he has the Crimson Claws backing him up, but his obsession with Selina will be his eventual downfall.

This is a one-night stand, yet something pulls Hailey towards Troy, a force she cannot quite describe, while just one glance in her direction made his lion roar. Troy has been infiltrating the Crimson Claws for the past 12-months, working his way up; but the life of a Crimson Claws mobster is no picnic. Hailey is a lawyer and because she is smart, ambitious and fierce, with a reputation that precedes her, is forced to work for the Crimson Claws; she has no choice when her parents’ lives are in danger. Hailey now finds herself pregnant; she has always wanted a family of her own, but this was not exactly the way she imagined it; Hailey would not raise her child with a mobster, but does she really despise him so much that she would keep his child from him? Could it be his feelings were only one-sided? Determined to escape the clutches of the Crimson Claws, Hailey starts to gather evidence on them, but this only puts her in more danger; now she has to be made an example of. Troy has to find a way to keep Hailey safe and a plan starts to form in his head. But Troy has been disloyal and there is no place in the Crimson Claws for liabilities, he of all people knew that, and now he is a liability. There is only one course of action left open to them. The District Attorney is known for her ruthlessness and relentless drive; she would do anything to build her case against the Crimson Claws, but Hailey needed assurances as well.
Review for Purrks of the Job
River didn’t usually do interrogations himself, being the leader of the infamous Crimson Claws, but Richard is an exception. River is after Richard’s boss, Kate; someone has to take responsibility for the recent killings of his men and she is it. River is anxious to track down Kate personally because he wants to reinforce he is a hands-on Leader; besides someone who has managed to kill some of his sharpest operatives definitely deserves his personal attention. Kate is in New York, with a new identity, trying to build up her reputation once again. Kate enthralls River and her reputation as an assassin is beyond reproach. Seeing Kate in action, River is intrigued and falls under her spell; he knows now he will never be able to kill her. Kate is surprised as it will only undermine his status as a ruthless, fearsome Leader; that is very important in the world of shifters. River intends to take Kate back to Chicago, but he finds the mission quite entertaining; they each want to learn more about one another and gradually there is a connection between them. Then the gravity of their situation suddenly hits River; he has claimed Kate without even thinking about it and there are consequences. Once back in Chicago, River has some explaining to do, both to his father and brother. Betrayal, accused of abandoning the Crimson Claws, putting the alliance with the Montgomery’s in danger, by rejecting their only daughter, and the fact The Firm are still after him, finally makes River seriously contemplate his achievements and his future.

The Chicago Catastrophe series is a great series to read! All four books are very well written and will hook the reader in from the very first page. I really enjoyed reading each of these stories. Anya Nowlan has written another great series. Anyone who loves shifter books, bad boy books or mobster books will find all three of these components in these stories. These books definitely will be recommended to others by me.

What a Box Set there's four fantastic stories that's fascinating and very emotional with a little twist and turns on how the characters meet. The flow of words is so great and the pace of the stories are just right. Anya is truly gifted, very creative and talented. The Great Disapurrance Lessons in Purrsuasion, Meow or Never and Purrks of the Job are BBW Paranormal Werelion Surprise Pregnancy Mob Romance Chicago Catastrophe by Anya Nowlan is magnificent and very well written as all of her books are. I enjoyed this stories so much I couldn't put my tablet down. But from the first page to the last I was memorized. The characters are engaging, fabulous and fantastic. The dialogue is passionate, realistic, and you will love the interaction between the main characters, the chemistry is scorching hot and they leap off the page with life that's so real. The scenes description are vivid, beautiful picturesque and dynamic with lots of passion.

Sienna Marquez is a spirited, head strong, massage therapist (who had to hide her identity because apparently children are to do what they are told and not be seen). A series of events happen and she finds herself about to be turned back to her parents. After she has spent what to her feels like a lifetime trying to distance herself from her father. Arlen Johnson treats her kindly but is understandably aloof because of his assignment. Arien is feeling his heat, but because of the actions in his life he feels that life is getting pay back. He knows no other explanation that it could be for his being sent by his employers (The Firm) to track down and kill one of the most influential lieutenants in the premier shifter crime organization in the region! You can definitely felt his despair at being in heat, but his mission becomes a distance second, when he fines Sienna, she is the right woman at the wrong place in time and now Arlen has to focus on protecting her and keeping his paws off of her at the same time.
Lessons in Purrsuasion
How can Stone show Selina that he's not just another possessive shifter out to claim her. I enjoyed how Stone Calloway holds his own with the bad guys! I can't think of any other story that has a Tiger like his and that is truly a great thing! My most favorite trait of a shifter is their ability which the human and their animal sides converse and interact with different personalities and how they co-exist together! Because of the miscommunication between Selina and Stone she doesn't trust him. But the love that's between Stone and Selina is eventually straighten out and becomes very tender, beautiful and romantic but not too over-the-top.
Meow or Never
Hailey Molloy is fearless and a valiant heroine, She's an absolute sweetheart but because of her profession of being a lawyer, her parents are beaten up by the loathsome toad of a bad guy who wants her to represents his gang as their Lawyer. She decides to go to a bar to drown her sorrows, she isn't looking for a companionship, but unfortunately she catches the eye of a gorgeous shifter anyone would want to go home with. Troy Sellen is a were-lion who is playing a part that he can't tell anyone about. Because he is deep undercover with a dangerous Chicago's gang. He's playing both sides of the fence the good and the bad. But now Troy has a problem a voluptuous, fiery woman has caught his animal's attention and he can't shake her from his thoughts, no matter what he does. How will he protect Hailey and get their HEA.

River is a gorgeous were-tiger who has formed the Red Claws Gang. He is head of the mafia organization. He was a navy seal that was at lose ends after he retired. But now he's the bad guy which made him do some very bad things. He's feared by all of Chicago. Kate is a curvy hit woman for hire who only kills people who she feels deserves it. Kate actually wants to forget her past and start a new life far from Chicago. But giving up her old habits is hard to do. When she is kidnap by River who she thinks is a irritating, self-absorbed and incredibly hot shifter. River doesn't want to kill her now, but he can't convince her otherwise. River has a lot more battles to fight before he can get his Happy Ever After .
The Box Set is so exciting and full of action and scorching hot! These are a uniquely new take on some fantastic stories, they are all well written and the characters appeared quite believable. Their yearning of passion and love, the pain of loving someone with all your heart and not being able to act upon that love is kind of heartrending, you will discovered the reason they don't think that their love can work, your heart will break for their pain. Wow! This is definitely a fabulous choice for you to read. Believe me you won't be disappointed. I am voluntarily reviewing this Box Set which was gifted to me by the author with no obligation.

The Great Disapurrance
I love books like this that has a shifter alpha male who is dangerous to get on the wrong side of, but is so caring for his woman. Arlen is on a mission to take Holland out another shifter but also a bad guy. Who also happens to of kidnapped Sienna. Now Sienna knows a life of pain, she has a dark past she has been hiding from. Holland threatens that but Arlen can save her. The chemistry between these two show straight off when they meet. Not a romantic chance meeting but it works. I feel such sorrow for Sienna with her past and now with Holland trying to control her too. But boy is Arlen a hot alpha saviour and did I mention hot? Mmmmm mmmmm how he feels for her is beautiful. She has him wrapped round her finger and doesn't even fight it. She adores him just as much. It takes a little time to realise she can trust him but once she does? Everything fits into place and she will have his back through everything. The epilogue....lovely :)
Lessons in Purrsuasion
Selina us in alot of trouble. She pays the price of her family standing up to the Crimson Claws clan. One of the leaders Parker takes a liking to her, so instead of putting a bullet in her head he takes her back to his home. Yep she is in big trouble as he wants her as his mate. Disgusted and scared of him she keeps quiet to protect her family. Thankfully her brother knows a guy who can get her out. Yep STONE CALLOWAY, Lion shifter and ex Seal oh and FIT!!!! So now he has her away from Parker you would think that's it she is safe, her family is safe, but no Parker isn't finished with her. But the hotness that is Stone isn't going to let her get into his hands again as she is his mate and he will not let her go. Having to stay away from her family and trust in new friends including her attraction to Stone, Selina eyes are open to a whole new world. The banter between these to is awesome and fun to read. You can't help but be jealous of the relationship they have even before they admit true feelings. His protectiveness for her is so lovely and her fierceness to be her own person and not be a damsel in distress is admiring. Kate well she is one woman you would not want to get on the wrong side of but has a gentle side too. I can't help but feel bad for Richard, I know he made a stupid decision and he brought it on himself. But still feel bad for him. The things you do for love.
Meow Or Never
Haylee is in a very bad situation. I'm order to keep her parents safe she has to work for the Crimson Claws and put her lawyering skills to bad use. She hates being put in this situation, but will do anything to protect the people she loves. She meets Troy on a stress free night out and they end up in bed. Troy has his own reason for being in the Crimson Claw, but you can't help but be drawn to him and knowing he is up to something.
These two are caught up in something they don't want to be. One by choice, one by force. How they both handle every situation is heart thumping to read. Especially with the sleazy Culliver sniffing around Haylee. Ewwwww!! BUT with all this going on the banter between Troy and Haylee is fun to get caught up in. Especially Haylee, her thoughts around Troy when she is trying to keep him away is funny and frustrating. Troy though is not giving up and that's what we love about these shifter men when it comes to mates. These two keep fighting, not just each other but for what's right. Especially when it's not just about them anymore.
Purrks of the Job
River, the head of the Crimson Claws is on a mission. Find Kate the Assassin that took his men down and make her pay. But he is a little curious about her and even more so when he sees her in action. He starts getting these protective feelings about her, even though he has kidnapped her.
Kate has moved away from Chicago and the Crimson Claws and starting afresh. But still can't keep away from her Assassin ways, which is how she gets caught. Living with past pain has made her lock up her heart. But being kidnapped by River knowing that they want her dead, doesn't stop her getting thoughts about him.
And so the fun begins! ;)
These two are such fun to follow. Kate trying to get away from her kidnapper and River loving the fact she is a fighter and still trying. These two are a funny, weird and violent couple, that you can not help but really like. River knows that she is his mate and in stead of killing her he protects her. Kate feels it too but still fights her feelings. But the chemistry between these two is so HOOOTTT!!! She can't fight her body for long. Especially after a chase in the woods :). These two are so se to blood and violence that they match well together and make an AWESOME team. Watch out the people that threaten them and yes they have plenty of those. Things change and the Crimson Claws are one of them now.
I love books like this that has a shifter alpha male who is dangerous to get on the wrong side of, but is so caring for his woman. Arlen is on a mission to take Holland out another shifter but also a bad guy. Who also happens to of kidnapped Sienna. Now Sienna knows a life of pain, she has a dark past she has been hiding from. Holland threatens that but Arlen can save her. The chemistry between these two show straight off when they meet. Not a romantic chance meeting but it works. I feel such sorrow for Sienna with her past and now with Holland trying to control her too. But boy is Arlen a hot alpha saviour and did I mention hot? Mmmmm mmmmm how he feels for her is beautiful. She has him wrapped round her finger and doesn't even fight it. She adores him just as much. It takes a little time to realise she can trust him but once she does? Everything fits into place and she will have his back through everything. The epilogue....lovely :)

Selina us in alot of trouble. She pays the price of her family standing up to the Crimson Claws clan. One of the leaders Parker takes a liking to her, so instead of putting a bullet in her head he takes her back to his home. Yep she is in big trouble as he wants her as his mate. Disgusted and scared of him she keeps quiet to protect her family. Thankfully her brother knows a guy who can get her out. Yep STONE CALLOWAY, Lion shifter and ex Seal oh and FIT!!!! So now he has her away from Parker you would think that's it she is safe, her family is safe, but no Parker isn't finished with her. But the hotness that is Stone isn't going to let her get into his hands again as she is his mate and he will not let her go. Having to stay away from her family and trust in new friends including her attraction to Stone, Selina eyes are open to a whole new world. The banter between these to is awesome and fun to read. You can't help but be jealous of the relationship they have even before they admit true feelings. His protectiveness for her is so lovely and her fierceness to be her own person and not be a damsel in distress is admiring. Kate well she is one woman you would not want to get on the wrong side of but has a gentle side too. I can't help but feel bad for Richard, I know he made a stupid decision and he brought it on himself. But still feel bad for him. The things you do for love.

Haylee is in a very bad situation. I'm order to keep her parents safe she has to work for the Crimson Claws and put her lawyering skills to bad use. She hates being put in this situation, but will do anything to protect the people she loves. She meets Troy on a stress free night out and they end up in bed. Troy has his own reason for being in the Crimson Claw, but you can't help but be drawn to him and knowing he is up to something.
These two are caught up in something they don't want to be. One by choice, one by force. How they both handle every situation is heart thumping to read. Especially with the sleazy Culliver sniffing around Haylee. Ewwwww!! BUT with all this going on the banter between Troy and Haylee is fun to get caught up in. Especially Haylee, her thoughts around Troy when she is trying to keep him away is funny and frustrating. Troy though is not giving up and that's what we love about these shifter men when it comes to mates. These two keep fighting, not just each other but for what's right. Especially when it's not just about them anymore.

River, the head of the Crimson Claws is on a mission. Find Kate the Assassin that took his men down and make her pay. But he is a little curious about her and even more so when he sees her in action. He starts getting these protective feelings about her, even though he has kidnapped her.
Kate has moved away from Chicago and the Crimson Claws and starting afresh. But still can't keep away from her Assassin ways, which is how she gets caught. Living with past pain has made her lock up her heart. But being kidnapped by River knowing that they want her dead, doesn't stop her getting thoughts about him.
And so the fun begins! ;)

So her brother (joe) called a friend. Stone Calloway he is a lion shifter, ex hitman and ex navy seal. He use to live for action but now he is out of that life style. Only thing was Joe needed him, seems the crimson claw took his little sister. When he and his lion see her it's for keeps.
Wow awesome action on this one great storyline and awesome characters. It had me at the edge of my seat and I couldn't put it down. Shifter fans and mob fans this one is for you.

Hailey is a human defence lawyer when the Crimson claws tells her either she works for them or lose her mom and dad. She finds herself in their pockets with no way out.
At a bar she runs into the hottest guy that she just can't seem to resist.
Troy is a bit if a mystery man and a shifter. When he see her at the bar, he wants her. Noone has intrested him like she does. After one night he knows one night will not be enough! But he us under cover and can't tell her until he finds out she is carrying his baby and the Crimson claw wants her dead.
Yea not going to happen.
This was really great, it had awesome characters, fantastic action and great mystery. I loved the plot line. Your not going to want to miss it.

River is the leader of the Crimson claws and a tiger shifter on the hunt for Kate Walker. She helped Calloway and his mate Selina get away. River felt he needed to show everyone you you don't cross the Crimson claws but when he finds her in N.Y. he knows he can't kill her and he has to have her.
This is one explosive story! How could it not be.
River being a mob boss and Kate being a world k own hit women. When the two come together wow. I LOVED the action it was amazing. The characters are fantastic, this was so well written. I could not put it down.

Head of the Crimson Claw of Chicago, River, went in search of Kate, an assassin whom he was going to kill, but decided to bring her back to Chicago. They stopped to get gas, and she asked to go to the restroom, then went out the window,and ran into the cornfield.
River waited a few moments t make it a game of chase your mate. His kitty wanted to play. His kitty was upset because of the blood from climbing out the window. Then realized it was time for the Hunt. He found her, and they enjoyed their time "together"in the field. River and his cat were purring seeing her in his car in only his shirt on his way; home. Kate would never tell, but she also enjoyed being in his shirt. Tomorrow it would be business, but tonight for his mate.

Be ready to be totally engrossed with a story of how two lives intermingle together with the organized crime organisation, the Crimson Claw and Troy, a working member of the Claw, also Haley, a criminal defence attorney.

I have read many books by Anya Nowlan. I enjoy the mix of romance and action. It keeps the story moving fast. The men are alphas who fall hard for the woman they love and will risk their lives to keep them safe. These characters fit right in with the other series and it was a fun, satisfying read. I also enjoyed the epilogue.

It is a great story that really hooks you in from the beginning. It has plenty of action and romance as well as many twists to the story. I really enjoyed it and recommend it for those who love paranormal romances with a lot of suspense and action.

This is a book bundle of all 4 Chicago Catastrophe book in 1 place. Each book has a couple and their own problems with the organization Crimson Claws.
Book 1
He was sent to eliminate a kingpin of organized crime and before he could do the job he took what he thought was leverage against him but little did he know what he truly had in his hands. She lost her business because of him and now she was kidnapped and being held because of him.
Book 2
They made it so she had to close her business and now she was forced into doing massages for the enemy, the Crimson Claw. He thought he had a bargaining chip when he took her but he found out she was just a causality of their greed.
Book 3
The Crimson Claws are at it again and this time they have their claws in an attorney after threatening her family. He is the new boss after getting rid of the old but he never expected her to show up in his office.
Book 4
River is the head of the Crimson Claws and he was the woman who killed half of his men nut when he sees her in action he has second thoughts and his tiger says MINE, MATE!!but will his human side agree. Kate left Chicago after escaping from the men who wanted her dead and now here she is with the man who started the dangerous organization.

Ok just when I thought all the books about The Firm was over here Anya surprises us with another one!!!! I love all of the stories from this author and as always this story was full of heat and sass from the start. There was definitely some surprises in this book, you will have to read it to find out.

Crimson claw is at it again in the second book of the series. Action packed with a heavy dose of sexy Shifter saving his mate. I love the story line that the authors have thought up for this series and can not wait to read more.

Overall, this was a pretty good series. The characters were likable and relatable, and I enjoyed each of the stories. My least favorite was Great Disapurrance, but my favorite was Meow Or Never. The other two were pretty good, too. Each story had something I liked, and were interesting to read. I was gifted a copy.

Good series
This series was good, kept you involved had some typos. I wished each book would have related the main characters more. But in the last book it brought back a previous characters If all of the male shifters were Navy Seals it was never mention if they knew one another or served together. Each book could be a stand alone.

Intense Fun Entertaining Reads
I read each of these individually and was thoroughly entertained. Each of these couple had some difficult times to go through before they could find their forever. Each story has violence, angst, humor and sexiness. Enjoy I did.

If you enjoy shifters and suspense thus is a must read!
Wonderful series! I loved every one of these stories where the dark brooding shifter emersed in the gang of the Crimson Claws finds their mates and seeks a way to keep them safe from not only others in the Claws but from another shifter group The Firm.
