I really loved this story, especially a certain super sexy bodyguard. I knew the moment I read the blurb I had to read this book and I am so happy I did. Author Rachael Brownell knows how to weave a story that grips you so tight that you become breathless. I read this baby from cover to cover in one sitting and still wanted more.

Bliss didn't want a bodyguard and couldn't understand why she needed one. All she wanted was her freedom and to hang out with her best friend, but her father had other ideas. He hired Owen to shadow her every move. Lucky for her he was pleasing to the eyes, but he was hiding something. I don't want to say much more because I do not want to ruin it for anyone. There are a few shocking plot twists and OH MY did I nearly flip out. I laughed, cursed and cried my heart out. This book will be one I will read again. In fact I'm crossing my fingers the author will write another book and make it a series!

Rachael, High Five!!

This was such a compelling story!! I was in such suspense waiting to see what was happening, why Owen was there for Bliss and his story really was. What a knock out job on the story line, flow will be great with the finishing touches! I can not wait to see what come next, starting to be one of my go to authors!

I loved this one. Bliss is in year last year of college, she has plans to make it the best time. Her plans for a wild year get ruined when her father hires a bodyguard for her. Her father is the mayor of her town. This is the first time he has hired a bodyguard for Bliss. I was wondering if he was just hiring a bodyguard to make sure she stayed out of trouble or if something more was going on. She gets Owen as her bodyguard. He's around her age and cute. The story is told in both their POVs so we get into both their heads. Bliss at first comes of as an brat but she really is nice. Owen has a past that slowly comes out. Owen is not fully sure why Bliss needs a bodyguard but with a little help from Jay, a person from his past, they try to put the pieces together. This one kept me hooked. There were a lot of surprising moments. It's the perfect mix of suspense and romance. I loved Owen and Bliss but I also liked Jay and won't mind reading more about him.

This isn't a full 5 star book for me, more like a 4.5 star rating. I wasn't hooked from the beginning like some people. It took me a couple chapters to get hooked and when it happened I couldn't put it down. I had to know if Owen would cross the line and Bliss would get her sexy bodyguard. I'm so glad I kept reading cause while I loved the romance between Owen and Bliss, I had my heart stop a few times during the suspenseful times. I thought for sure Rachael was gonna break my heart but thankfully she didn't. I loved both characters especially Owen and I would definitely recommend this book. The reason I wouldn't give this book a 5 star is by the end I got confused on who Avery was. The author had used Avery, Amanda and Aubrey while she was talking in the arc and I'm guessing it got changed after editing or at least I'm hoping it did. Other then that tidbit, it was a really good book!

He was hired to protect her but made plenty of mistakes. Those mistakes almost got them killed. She had no idea the danger was real. Everywhere she turned she found betrayal and lies. And they surrounded her. When it all comes out she will have to deal with more than her feelings for the man who not only hired to keep her safe but the man that was stealing her heart. An instant attraction that is also deadly will change everything they thought was real. An exciting whirlwind of action and chaos will keep you turning the pages for more and rounding it out with the next book in the series. This author does suspense and romance well and keeps you tuned in for more.

This is a four and a half stars from me. This book has lies, deceit, family dysfunction, and a whole lot more! The good stuff is romance, friendship, love, and more. Wonderful story that I highly recommend. Very touching story. I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving an advanced reading copy.

WOW! This book grabs your attention right from the get go. I had a really hard time putting it down. It was a pretty quick read, sleep stopped me from being able to read it all in one setting. Start to finish it was packed full of emotions. I even shed a tear or two at the end. Can't wait to read more of Rachael's work. She is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

Loving Bliss

This is the first book I have read from this author. This was a nice little read. Bliss and Owen both deserved happiness after the life they had.
