This book was suggested as a one and only mate book on a Facebook group so I was super excited to read it. I like mate books that once they have seen their mate no longer lust after or pursue other men or women. Well that doesn’t happen in this book he see's her at first he is Disgusted by her which wasn’t what I’m used to when mates see each other but I read on. Then after making out with her he goes back and has sex with his #1 girl and tells her she will always be his number one. I still read on to see how this mate situation was gonna pan out. But I decided I needed to know if this o/w was gonna be an issue on further in series. I’m glad I did I woulda been all kinds of mad if I got to 2nd book and hero is still thinking how great a f*ck o/w is continues to lust after and care for her and would have f*ucked her if someone didn’t stop him.
I wish heroines would give as good as they got, I hate it when heroes say stay away from all men but they continue with other women. I would have probably kept reading if heroine had refused to heed his demands. I mean if she’s your you are hers.

Demon Soul was the first book by Julie Anne Addicott that I have read but most definitely not my last. I loved this book from beginning to end. From page one I was sucked into an awesome world of Demons, Angels, Shifters and an assortment of other characters. Lola is a mortal or so she thinks whose parents and adoptive parents are both killed. She is plagued by nightmares of Angels and Demons in battle. Belial is the demon sent to kill her but unknown forces prevent him from his task. I loved both Lola and Belial, their chemistry is immediate although Belial is a jerk to her. I loved how nothing is what it seems and as Lola and Belial begin to uncover the lies about their past I look forward to their relationship progressing. On to book 2.

Holy freaking hell!
This damned book was nothing that I expected, Angels, demons, hell, heaven. It's just so much! And I bleeping loved it!
It's been a while since I read a mind blowing paranormal romance, and this one blew my flippin' mind!
Addicott is also a new-to-me author. Let me tell ya she has nailed this story down!
Belial (floved the name) surprised me. I didn't know what to expect with him, he ran hot and cold. One minute I was loving him and the next I just want to jump in and kick the mfkr in the junk.
Lola she's such an intriguing character, loved the way she faced the crap she was dealt with even when she was ready to pee her pants.
Shiloh is a character I really want to see more of. Hades, oh I hate this Hades.
All the supporting characters brought out some emotion in me. Whether they were 'good' or 'bad'.
I really like the depiction of good vs evil the author has portrayed here. And OH MY GAWD that ending! Book 2 here tf I come.
P.S. Belial is totally my new book boyfriend. He's just HAWT!

This book is a dark paranormal romance that is totally worth all the time in the world to read. If you like the Riley Jenson Guardian novels then chances are you will love this book too.
I loved this book with all of my soul. This book is so beautifully written that I can't describe just how much I loved this book.
There was never dull moment in this book; every part of the book has a purpose which kept me engrossed in the book for hours at a time. Character and world building was exactly as it needed to be allowing me to become one with the book, and live in an alternate reality; even if it was temporary it was well worth it. I would definitely read this book more than once just to savor the world that I got to experience.
A girl suffering from PTSD meets a handsome man that has wings and just happens to want to kill her in the beginning but somehow love grows between the two and they find out that their fates just might be intertwined. While this love grows Hades plots to gain full control of the underworld to open the gates and let demons run free; his only goal is chaos and control and if anyone defies him it won't turn out well.
This book does have strong language, violence, and sexual scenes not suitable for young readers.

Good vs. Evil, Angels vs. Demons, Heaven or Hell.
This is one of the best ones I've read that dealt with these.
Belial the demon god-like being that everyone wanted. Lola the virgin no one could have.
It was a struggle for them. Neither of them understood what was going on.
I found myself rooting for the devil at times. Hot as Hell has new meaning.
It is a must read.

Oh boy, this book surely reminded me how much and why I love paranormal stories. Untamed: Demon Soul gave me exactly what I look for in this kind of books. As I started reading the prologue, I was hooked up. Who am I kidding? I was hooked up the minute I saw the cover, but when I started reading, hell, I knew I had made the right book choice.
“It's his wings that slay me; they are truly magnificent. The feathers rustle as his wings extend, each one perfectly formed and shimmering under the glow of my bedroom light.”
The structure of the story was amazing. The author did an amazing job writing this book. It has a really good plot and excellent characters. Within the first pages I was caught by the world the author created. I felt like I was part of it. And to manage to accomplish that in a book of this genre is truly incredible.
“I feel something strange. There's a warmth in my chest, as if my heart is on fire.”
As I kept moving through the pages I got the feeling that I didn’t want the story to end but o f course it did. I just couldn’t stop myself from reading it until it was over. But it was worthy. It’s a really good book.
“I'm caught between hope and heartache; there's an aching need to fill the void inside.”
The main characters, Belial and Lola, are, in a way, complex characters. Of course each of them has a past. And that past has made impact on who they are now. Lola is a strong and smart character. And Belial, well, even with all of his dark facade or true self, is captivating and somehow, swoon worthy.
“I've never felt like I fit anywhere. It's as though I've always been stuck in the place where dreams and reality collide.”
And about the plot, well, I was thrown in a roller coaster ride, there were so many twists and turns, and they make the story entertaining at its best. It also has a background story and it’s amazing, and together, with the main plot, they form a story worth reading, and with so many interesting details.
“I rub my thumb over Lola's hand and when she tightens her grip on mine I feel a rush of warmth spread through my heart.”
I couldn’t get enough of this story and I can’t wait for the next book to release. And of course, I’ll be reading this over and over again, because how can I not?

This book is brilliant . The story is so descriptive and well written . The characters POV is so well done and helps the story develop so well . I was engrossed in the story the whole time and Belial and Lola have such a love hate relationship until they find out the truth . The story of Demons and Angels and the other worlds really is spellbinding and i cannot wait till the next book in the series . Well done to the author

I have always loved Julie Anne's poetry and was waiting for Demon Soul for a long time and it's even better than I expected. I loved the characters of Lola and Belial and I did like Kamen and it would be good to see more of her, I hope she is in the next book. And also Shiloh. I liked the multiple views as well. Julie Anne Addicott's first novel is brilliant work and has some funny parts, sexy sex scenes and some twists I didn't expect. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

What can I say about this book? Just WOW! I don’t read much PNR but this has opened my eyes up to a whole new side of romance. Belial is possibly the hottest alpha I have read and HE’S A SEXY DEMON AND I DIG IT SO HARD!! I want to dip his feathers and chocolate and lick them off. Too far? Don’t care, that’s how much I loved this freaking book. The story pulls you in and I was on the edge of my seat with each new twist and reveal. Love love love, amazing job!!!

I don't even know where to start with this review. First off, I freaking loved this book so much! There is absolutely everything you could ever want in it. Secrets, deception, mystery, good, evil, heaven, hell, demons and angels. You will want to sit down, buckle up, keep all hands and feet inside for the roller coaster ride as Lola & Belial's story unfolds.
One of the best paranormal love stories I have read in a long time!! I immediately started Untamed Angel Heart to pick up where Demon Soul left off!

I don't usually read Paranormal/Fantasy books but this one caught my eye. I loved the cover and the blurb for the book. Once I started reading this story I couldn't put it down. It was well written and I loved that the author was so descriptive with the characters and the fantastic worlds she created. It ends in a cliffhanger but leaves you excited for the next book. I'm so glad I took a chance on this book and I am so ready to read the next one in this series.

Untamed is a good paranormal/fantasy book. It does end in a cliffhanger, which was a little frustrating, but overall I liked the book. There was some jumping around which was a little confusing, but if you keep reading you'll figure out what's going on. There was some steamy sex in the book but I wanted more! I know Belial has a job to do, but I thought he came off a little childish, especially with the way he kept saying Lola was annoying. I would probably read the next book to see what happens. I hope there's more resolution to come! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I was given this book by the author for an honest review. It was a surprisingly good book though I wasn't sure where Angel Bay was located. I'm guessing my the spelling of the words possibly England. The sex scenes in the beginning were a little cheesy but the ones towards the end were a lot better.
I'd like to know what happens with Shiloh and if Belial is teaching her to fight. Also if there's no record of the necklace on earth does that mean Cress lost it? I'm going to have to read the second book to find out of course. I would definitely recommend this book to people who like books about angels and demons for sure.

Demon Soul was one of my favorite reads last year so of course I wanted to see what the second edition was like.
The premise is obviously the same but with more detail and some of the 'loose ends' have been tied up and I noticed a few things were omitted that weren't important to the story.
The extended ending of this edition enhanced the story one hundred percent, especially the last scene between Lola and Belial which was one of my favorite parts.
Waiting with bated breath to read Angel Heart.
If you read demon soul when it was first released and loved it then, I guarantee you will love this edition.

This book drew me in from the 1st page. The characters were fantastic. The story intense and captivating. The love hate pull between Belial and Lola left me frustrated and yet riveted. I loved every second of it. I can't wait to read more! Angel Heart- Here I come!

Angels and demons and secrets unknown. This story sucks you in and never lets go. Nothing is quite as it seems. The world created with such detail and the characters given such depth it all feels real. The pacing is smooth and the POV changes are natural and flow well with the storyline. The characters struggle to find their truth ignited a curiosity in me. They fight to ignore their attraction and you can feel the angst build. They share a connection that’s not easily restrained. Each caress heats up the pages and it’s only a matter of time until the fire spreads and can’t be contained. I truly enjoyed watching the story unravel it was a whirlwind of passion and emotions I never knew I needed. It kept me wanting more and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

I really, really enjoyed this novel. I was engulfed in the dark beauty of it right away! It was well written and kept you guessing, for the most part. I will continue to follow this author for more books in this series.
My only "concern" or reason for not giving it 5 stars, was I felt like we were just left hanging, the story ended so abruptly I was disappointed. Nothing seemed at a "close" really. ---was confirmed via email, this was done for a reason and there will be another book!
You never get to see Belial with Lola, passionately together, to actually see the different side of him. Lola, doesn't get much closure, and it was a very abrupt ending. Otherwise amazing!

I don't usually read Paranormal/fantasy books but this one caught my eye. I loved the cover and the blurb for the book. Once I started reading this story I couldn't put it down. It was well written and I loved that the author was so descriptive with the characters and the fantastic worlds she created. It ends in a cliffhanger but leaves you excited for the next book. I'm so glad I took a chance on this book and I am so ready to read the next one in this series.
