Theresa Hodge is an Alabama native - loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. She is at her best when she is able to bring happiness to others. This author loves to read almost as much as she loves to write fictional stories. She finds writing therapeutic at times, especially during the loss of her oldest sister from breast cancer, which birthed her "Ask Me Again" Series. This was her first but this compilation led to her writing several other books. These book's includes her bestselling Noelle's Rock series among many others.
Additionally, Theresa has a love affair with poetry. She began writing poetry at an early age and it served as a catalyst for her growth as a writer.
If Theresa can bring a smile to your face and encourage someone else along her journey, she considers it a blessing beyond measure.
The (7) 5-star reviews I saw on Amazon made me want to read this book right away. After reading it, I am not convinced that the author of Noelle's Rock wrote this book. Maybe the style and tone of writing has changed because of her new publisher or maybe this is a recycled first effort.
There were grammatical and spelling errors. Also, I found the story to be all over the place and not remotely believable. Things just didnt add up. The characters were a bit likeable and some unlikeable. Overall it was a decent read with some hot scenes.
I truly enjoyed this read. Nick and Felicity made such as amazing couple. In the beginning I felt sorry for her for the way her family treated her especially her sister. I think she was just jealous of her and that what made her act the way she did once she seen Nick show interest in Felicity. I was so glad when Nick gave Mr. Snow his job back and bought the bakery for them. He was kind hearted he just was trying to feel his father shoes and went it about the wrong way when letting him go( but he fixed it that's all that matters). Overall the book was amazing and wish would have got to know if she was pregnant by him. Great job!
I almost gave up on this book. The only reason I finished the work was because it was a short read and I wanted to see if the sister was going to have a change of heart. To me, it was not well edited and could have used a lot of fine tuning. The heroine keep repeating things while some details didn't exactly line up. I have no interest in bashing authors, so I'll keep my more brash opinion to myself.
Horrible writing and worse editing! The writer goes from breezing through the substantial ...to rambling on about the inconsequential. Seemed like the author right clicked for thesaurus and used words without understanding their meaning. I would probably deal with all of this if the love scenes were any good, but unfortunately they're horrible as well. Awkward and unrealistic. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
Good book for the holiday season. Excellent characters with a great story theme, just wish that it clicked more for the 30 to 50 year old age range than the 18 to 25. Yes, I know that I bypassed a couple of years, that's only because that age group 26-29/30 is more flexible than others. You will need to read book for yourself and let me know if I am right.
Great read. Love Nicholas he new what he wants and he got it. And didn't care about what people thought. Now felicity I don't know. She let her family run over her. All in all a great read
Save your time. This book is ridiculous, implausible, and just plain unreadable. There is only one sympathetic character and she was barely part of the story.
This was a really good read. Felicity & Nicholas complimented each other. Through each other they saw the real person behind the public personna. Recommend
