So glad I bought!

After reading so many bad digital cookbooks, this one was a sheer pleasure to read. I love how organized and easy to follow it all is. I almost bookmarked every recipe to try!

Fine if you don't have arthritis

I hate to whine, but how can one prep these meals with raging RA? It's a catch 22: I can't cook this until I get better. Cooking wears me out, then there's cleanup, and that's just one meal! I can't chop, cut, grip stuff, pick up pots and pans. I ordered the paperback but I'm canceling the order. What's the point. It's a great book if you have your own cook. I do not. I have to eat out.

Such good information in here and lots of good ideas for substitutions and good recipes. Have tried 2 recipes so far - one I’ve made about three times and we love it. One was just ok. So we’re looking forward to trying more!

A solid cook book with just enough recipes and info to get you started. I haven't actually tried any of the recipes but copied several to give a try. Hoping they are yummy. Reading because I personally need to work on consuming less inflammatory foods to help with health issues. Yay for old age.

too many allergens and foods that are known inflammatory

Don’t agree with this authors picks for anti-inflammatory. The allergen-free recipes contain nuts which is a top 8 allergen. This author needs a lot more nutrition education!

This is a very good book for people who need to reduce inflammation. I do wish these books would feature recipes that do not include allergens such as coconut, nuts, milk. There should be more variety. But this is a good book

I like what I have tried from here although some of the ingredients are harder to find and not necessarily typical pantry staples...although they probably should be!

As I've gotten older I've started paying more attention to the foods we eat and finding healthy alternatives. Although I have no conditions myself, I can think of friends and family who could benefit from an anti inflammatory diet as well. I'm always looking for new and creative cookbooks, and The Anti-Inflammatory Diet Cookbook is a great addition to the collection. The first chapter was very informative and helped me understand how and why are bodies process the foods we eat. I also found the pantry checklist as well as the chart giving lists of foods that fight inflammation as well as worsen it as an easy guideline. I'm especially looking forward to trying the Smoothie collection which includes ingredients like Tumeric and Matcha which I'm somewhat familiar with.
I received a review copy of this book from the publisher.
