This was a fairly average storyline for me. Zombie Titans? Meh. Sure, I guess everyone else was writing zombie storylines at the time. Reading it now, with the filter of a few years of hindsight applied, it just doesn’t have the appeal it might have had back when TWD was so popular.

Just a quick warning to say that this review may contain spoilers for Transformers: Till All Are One Volume 1!

I really enjoy rewatching Transformers G1 as well as the more recent Transformers Prime, so it was of no surprise that I loved the first volume of Transformers: Till All Are One. I especially liked the political aspect of the story and I was eager to start volume 2.

As undead titans threaten Cybertron, its inhabitants must rally together to face the oncoming storm. Compared to the first volume, the narrative of this one was incredibly confusing at times, especially in the Microspace section. However, this volume did have more funny and witty moments compared to the previous volume, which I did enjoy.

Starscream has always been one of my favourites in the cartoons and he was great in this too. He properly took charge in this volume, but he still maintained his sneaky side that is integral to his character. Windblade seemed like she was just trying to do her best and help out in any way she can, but I am still not a huge fan of hers. Once again, one of my all-time favourite characters, Knock Out was pretty useless. However, he was still sarcastic and funny, I just wish he was more prominent in the story. Other characters, like those that featured in the first volume such as Bumblebee and Breakdown, did relatively little in this volume which was a little disappointing, as the story was focused on a small number of characters where I would have liked the others to have been useful in some way too.

The art was still really good, like in the previous volume, although the action could be a little bit unclear and confusing at times.

Although I enjoyed reading this, I did not love it as much as the first volume. I liked the artwork and I loved seeing some of my favourite characters again too, but the plot was not as engaging and pretty confusing at times too.

It was fun to read all about the political intrigue and drama. But Transformers writers just can't help themselves - they always have to add some big confilict, explosion, destruction, battles.

At this point it's almost comical. During every arc and event the city is trashed to rubble, then gets barely rebuild just to be buttfucked again by some new threat. Which I get, one has to keep these comics action-packed, but my god, when you read all of the comics since Phase 1 Inflitration, all the action and fighting becomes so mundane you just skip over it.

Transformers: Till All Are One Vol. 2 blasts off straight after the previous book but picking up the invasion of the Titans storyline as well and plonking it right down into the shifting political landscape that is taking place on Cybertron! :D At the same time Elita One is using this in order to further her own political aims! :D To top all of this off though as well she is sitting on a political and military minefield in the form of her Titan and ship Carcer! :D

Transformers: Till All Are One Vol. 2 doesn't stint on what characters it puts through the ringer! :D Transformers: Till All Are One Vol. 2 makes it abundantly clear the the battlefields and politics are equally lethal and the lengths that Windblade and Starscream go to are epic in every way! :D Starscream's impassioned plea's to Elita and her reaction set the tone and the events of the book really rocking! :D Windblades solution is classic Windblade and what they find will shake all future plotlines! :D

The staging of the book is epic in every way from the growing rivalry between Elita and Starscream to his revelations via Windblade it is all up there in the page! :D The story interleaves all it ongoing plots but at the same time setting up new epic ones that you will never see coming but organically for really putting events into context! :D The scale of things is never forgotten as well as the Council of Worlds members pop up and make sure you know it! :D We also throughout get to nip into Cybertrons past as well as catch up with Optimus on Earth where he and Windblade have a pow wow over events and what it means to be a Prime! :D You can really see how Windblade is developing and this continues full force Transformers: Till All Are One Vol. 2! :D

Mairghread and Petri-Derocher do a cracking job with the art and script! :D The art literally pops right off the page with every pane! All of the characters clearly are illustrated showing the action as it flows from one location to another! :D The locations are all up there from the battlefields of Cybertron to the epic Maccadam! :D Everything is here and on the page resulting in a book that is epic in every-way and sets plots and events up brilliantly for the next books! :D The Titans battles are truly breathtaking as well and the book does a epic effort with the script and the art to make sure that you know it! :D

Transformers: Till All Are One Vol. 2 is insightful and full of character! :D Transformers: Till All Are One Vol. 2 delivers more twists and tails then you would believe and is full of Heroics, Dramatics, Politicking, All Out Battle, Adventure, Daring and Do and action backed throughout! :D Brilliant and highly Recommended! :D Make sure you have the next one! :D

Writer Scott and artist Pitre-Durocher star in a full-on epic fisticuffs blockbuster which comes out of nowhere and is delivered with fast realised pace and stakes. God-sized zombies descend on Cybertron and the creatives present no quick fixes, no cheat modes. The sudden lurch from political drama to big fighty stuff felt unnatural and wasted opportunity in previous IDW books, but here it's handled well. It's not quite preferred, but it doesn't feel as if the politics have been deferred, rather complimented.

The ongoing political dance between Starscream and Windblade continues. With the addition of more political fuel brought to the fore by Elita One, the issue of the Combaticons and the recovery from the assault of a force of undead Titans has brought our cast an undue amount of stress and things are heading for a breaking point.

A fun, epic concept: zombie Transformer Titans invade Cybertron en masse, and everyone has to join forces to fight them. However, the execution is merely adequate, and an objectively interesting twist with Elita One's Titan isn't set up well enough to have the impact it should. The result isn't bad, but it definitely falls short of its potential. (B)

A great continuation of the Till All Are One line. A good story which is well told with plenty of time for gripping action sequences. The artwork is stellar and ending with the return of Liege Maximo is a great cliffhanger heading into volume 3.

2,5. I really don't care for titans fighting each other, it's not what I'm looking for in Transformers (soo weird!); but the whole story is OK, the art is very nice and Starscream is likeable in a "my-murderous-and-devious-but-brave-baby-won't-ever-give-up" way.

A bigger threat looms, but does not answer questions about vol 1 that are still left unanswered. Still a good read.

More good art but with nonsensical narrative and characters. I don't know why this series needed three volumes. Incomprehensible if you haven't kept up with the other books.

As someone who has actually finished all 12 issues of it, I can say with authority that I'm going to miss this series. Scott has finally gotten me to buy in on Windblade, completely and her version of Starscream (complete dead Bumblebee sidekick) is the best that character has ever been. Still the sniveling weasel he always was but that is no longer his only discernable character trait. Anyway, I would have to go back and remind myself what specifically happened in the issues collected in this volume but since I loved this entire series, I'll just say whatever it was is awesome.
