A new school. An impossible mission.

Tristan and Amber have been singled out as the best magicians at the Lair…and now they have to risk everything to stop Ilana.

For Tristan, leaving the Lair is like going back in time. Once again, he’s an outcast. Nothing will be the same when he returns—if he returns.

And this time, it’s not just his school that is threatened.

With Ilana watching their every move, and a virtual army of students taking her orders, Tristan and Amber won’t be able to succeed alone.

But they are cut off completely from the Lair.

Who can they trust?

Take my 5 stars and go!

+1 to the list of fans of R. J. Vickers'.

Every YA and Fantasy lovers out there! Here you go!

Tristan and Amber, the best magicians are all set to take you to adventurous roller coaster rides.

Adventure and Magic. This combination always functions for me.

It ends with a cliffhanger, promising you for the next part in the series. I definitely enjoyed the twist and turns it demonstrated. The innocence and intelligence these kids had, took me by surprise. It had been a long while since I read a YA Fantasy as awesome as this.

The cover is captivating to say the least. You are into YA and you don't go by the cover -never happens.

Full marks for the design.

Only I know what its like to wait to see what's in the store.

I admit that even if I have not read the previous books in this series, I am not at all feeling that I've missed something. Yes, it takes you a few pages to know what's it with the characters, once you do, there's no turning back.

This series is a total page turner.

Verdict : R.J. Vickers, you rock!

Lost Magic

Each book gets better and better! Which shows the great level of talent R.J. Vickers has.

Lost Magic has a lot of action, twists and turns. Tristan and Amber where brave and focused and had to make some hard choices. They did their best to save the students and the Lair from Ilana. They picked up a some stray kids from Ilana's school along the way and saved them as well. Back in the safety of their teachers and students from the Lair, they still have a battle looming in the future. Now I must go get the next book in the series.

Lost magic, book 3 in R.J. Vickers' The Underground Academy of Magic, is another great addition to this excellent series! The main characters, Tristain and Amber, continue to develop in extraordinary ways. New characters are introduced, and secondary characters are brought to life. The storylne remains fast-paced, filled with magic, mayhem, intrigue, danger and subterfuge. I was so engrossed, I finished the book in one sitting. I can't wait to see what awaits the group in the finale in book 4!

A fast paced read that has you turning page after page - you can't put it down.

This was my first taste from this author and I was not disappointed. I had not read the first two books to this series and now I see there is a fourth book coming so the cliff hanger on the end will be dealt with and I can't wait. But I must read the first two for the back stories. Because this was the 3rd book, It took a little while to understand the beginning of the book until a few chapters in and then it all fell into place and I was able to read through page by page and couldn't put it down! Lots of action and some great characters including the villians. The characters were well developed and the interaction between them was great! Loved this book and will look forward to the next in this series since we were left with a cliff hanger! My recomendation is to read the books in order for a smooth read. I was given a free copy of this book, and I am voluntarily leaving this review.

The story continues.

I give Lost Magic four stars. I found several instances where fewer words would have helped me stay more focused on the storyline. I am anxious to read the final book in this series. The series has a very original storyline of evil vs evil.
