Out of the Storm

THEO
There's an eerie calm before the storm,
And my best friend is in the direct path of the hit.
I have to protect him, no matter the cost.
He's like a brother to me.
I'll do whatever it takes to make sure he's safe.
Even if that means being pulled into the vortex that is Jules Hemingway,
A sexy, fiery tempest that has the potential to destroy everything in her wake.
All I want is to dive in, take my chances.
But first, I must complete the mission—save my friend.
Though it may mean losing what really matters,
The only woman worth drowning for.

JULES
Something's amiss—strange and ominous,
And I can't quite put my finger on it.
When Theo Katawhateverhisnameis comes thundering in,
It's like lightning to my heart, my body, my soul.
It's a shock—a jolt, as I realize my life is a scam,
A scheme with no winners.
I'm in over my head, treading in a sea of lies,
Leery of whom to trust,
Only looking to protect myself, my heart.
Together, we're wreckage, debris,
but are we collateral damage in this perfect storm?

Heartfall, her coming of age novel about a bullied ballerina, is a #1 best seller in the Teen and Young Adult Performing Arts genre. Skipping Stones, a military romance about a young woman strongly influenced by her faith and her family all the while searching for her true love, is a #1 best seller in Women's Christian Fiction.

When J.B.'s not writing, she enjoys reading as well as watching and live-chatting her favorite television shows with her friends. Her favorite shows are Quantico, Blindspot, Grey’s Anatomy, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Below Deck, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, and Scandal (mainly because of her love of Scott Foley).

Born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina, she attended Converse College and eventually earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of South Carolina-Aiken in 2006.

In college, she was told by her children’s literature professor she would be the one student from her class to be an author. McGee shook her head and laughed. But in 2012, over six years after that statement was made and after a love of reading had been reignited, she gave writing a shot. J.B. gladly ate crow when she emailed her first book to the above mentioned children’s literature professor thanking her and acknowledging the accuracy of her prophecy.

In 2011, it was discovered that not only do both of her children, but also she and her husband, have mitochondrial disease. Affecting 1 in 2500 people, it has no cure or treatments. Being a writer allows J.B. to care for her family’s unique needs while also providing a platform for raising awareness for this disease.

She is a hopeless romantic who loves to escape into fairy tales—some she reads and some she creates.

J.B. McGee and her family now reside in Buford, Georgia.

Out of the Storm by J. B. McGee is a romantic suspense novel that has so many twists and turns it will give you whiplash! It kept me guessing the entire time. I didn’t know who to trust, who not to trust, or even what was actually going on half the time. The story is told mainly in dual point of view, and we only learn information as the characters do. If they are in the dark, then so are we. I love stories where I get to piece together the puzzle along with the characters, and that was definitely the case here.

This review is going to be short and sweet, for a couple of reasons. First, I am really sick, so please forgive me if this isn't the most spectacular review you have ever read. Second, almost anything I say will result in a spoiler. This is the kind of book that pretty much any spoilers will ruin. Trying to figure out what is going on or what will happen next is what keeps it interesting and exciting. I can tell you that you will have all your questions answered by the end of the story except one, and it was left in a way that made me think the author may put out another book to address it. I can’t guarantee that you will be satisfied with all of the answers you get, because I personally wasn’t. That was upsetting after all of the buildup, but that may have just been me. I can see the ending being totally satisfying for some readers.

I was intrigued from the very beginning when the hero, Theo, reveals that he knows a lot about the heroine, Jules, even though she has never seen him before in her life. Their first meeting ends with Theo seemingly trying to kidnap Jules. We discover pretty quickly that this is not the case. His best friend, Marco, is a client of the investment firm owned by Jules and her fiancee, Charlie. Marco tells Theo that he thinks they are doing something illegal with his money. Theo has always been the one to bail Marco out of tough situations their entire lives, and so naturally he asks Theo to help him with this one. There is an instant attraction between Theo and Jules. Their chemistry is off the charts, and it has Theo hoping that Jules isn’t in on any nefarious schemes involving his friend’s investment. Jules seems completely shocked to learn of her fiancée’s possible deception. She agrees to help Theo in his search for the truth, but the more they dig the more complicated everything seems. Soon, they find it hard to trust anyone….even each other.

Out of the Storm kept me guessing until the final page! My mind was swarming with possibilities the entire time, and I like a book that can keep me on the edge of my seat. That being said, I found the back and forth a bit too much at times. Some of the things the characters did or the situations they put themselves in made no sense to me. So many things could have and should have been avoided if they would have exercised a little common sense. A lot of information we are asked to believe seems far-fetched and over dramatic. Though I loved the dirty talking hero, the feelings he has for the heroine are a little too fast and furious for me. All in all, this was an okay read. If you are looking for a sexy, twist filled mystery that will keep you in suspense from the start to finish or are a fan of this author’s work, you might want to give this one a try.

Whoa what a mind blowing suspense/romance with lots of twists and turns. Towards the beginning it seemed like instalove/lust between Greek alpha male Theo and fiery Jules.

After the insta lust, this story had so many twists and turns that felt like I was reading a movie script. Kept me turning the pages.

First book I've read by this author and she didn't disappoint.

JB McGee writes her first romantic suspense and she did it keeping me guessing and throwing new curves at me that I didn't see coming, up until the very end.

Theo is a Greek God that you are going to love his cocksure attitude along with his insecurities.

If you want a fresh, sexy, keep you on the edge of your seat thrill ride then this is your book.

4.5 really awesome stars!!!
Theo Katawhateverhisnameis is my agapemeni!! I adored that sexy beast. Excuse me while I sit in front of the fan for a few.

This is the story of Jules and Theo oh and that skata prospopo Charlie. Jules Hemingway is an investor. She is partner with her fiance Charlie Hawke in an investment business they run together. Yet Jules starts noticing little discrepancies in the books and starts looking to Charlie for answers. Charlie thinks he owns Jules like she's his property and she must bow down to his way. See what I mean he's a bastardo. Theo first bumps into Charlie in a gym. From there their lives become entangled in the worst way. Someone is keeping secrets and everyone is suspicious.

This book kept me on my toes. I had to read one more chapter and before you know it it was over. The mystery surrounding these 3 kept me engaged. This book is very different from other J.B. McGee books. Heck it's even different from Magnolia Grove in the best possible way. Theo is a smart snarky sexy man. He will most certainly make it on your book boyfriend list. I know hes on mine!!

Great suspense and kept me guessing through the whole story, right to the bitter end. I couldn't read fast enough. And anytime you have a hot book boy hero that cusses and whispers terms of endearment in another language, I'm a goner.
Out of the Storm-- the plot line, the characters, the suspense, the sexy of sexy and the bits of humor laced throughout the story made this a fabulous read. It was a fast paced read that'll keep you glued to the pages wanted answers to the building questions. And that twist? Didn't see that coming at all.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and want more. Get it on your TBR.

Out of the Storm by JB McGee
3.5 stars!!!

“Watch your front, back, and sides. All the time.”

I have read the majority of JB McGee’s books and this is a huge variance from her norm, this is her first foray into Romantic Suspense and for a first attempt, she did amazingly well. Along with the romance and the suspense JB McGee brings some light-hearted humour that lifted this book from the serious and gave some welcome relief and only endeared her characters all the more.

JB McGee presents us with a jigsaw puzzle in the first instance and being in the dark constantly is what keeps those pages turning at the rate of knots. JB McGee reveals her clues ever so slowly and as the characters in this story are clued in, so is the reader. There were many twists and turns, one I definitely didn’t see coming and I loved the fact that this book actually knocked me sideways. Not many suspense reads pull that off, but JB McGee delivered a doozie!!

“Just two broken souls who weathered a hell of a storm, the only two to make it out alive and whole…”

Theo Whateverhisnameis was a fantastic character from the very beginning and this man oozed sex appeal and charm. His best friend, Marco, is worried about his investments with an investment firm and because Theo bails Marco out of every single spat he ever gets in, Marco turns to him. As Theo begins his investigations he cannot help but cross paths with Charlie and Jules.

Charlie and Jules are engaged and own the investment firm where Marco currently has his cash invested. Charlie seems to be the one that pulls the strings and Jules is the puppet. When Theo sets eyes on Jules the first time he is immediately smitten but one she is taken, and two she maybe the enemy. In this web of lies, who can you trust?

JB McGee kept me guessing throughout and certainly captured that romantic suspense feel. My only niggle was repetition when jumping from one point of view to another, with the same scenes told in both point of views. For me, this stilted the flow of the story and definitely disrupted that “engrossed” feeling I had as new material followed. This is a case of instalust/love, but having that feeling myself when I met my husband it didn’t bother me at all.

“Cinderella fell in love with the prince after one night. She left her shoe. Jules left her necklace.”

Some of the situations these two got themselves in could have easily been avoided but then where is the fun in that. These two made for a great read and as they try to uncover the truth and protect one another allegiances are definitely tested and trust is one issue that comes to the forefront a lot.

With friendships and relationships tested to their limits and a Greek dirty talking sex god there is something for everyone.

“Cinderella left her shoe. I left my heart.”

Beth's Review

I have read a few books by J.B. McGee now and I really do love her writing. I must say that this one was very different from her normal writing with it being a romantic suspense and was intrigued to check it out.

Theo has always looked out for his best friend Marco and when his friend finds himself in trouble, like always, it’s Theo to the rescue. In doing so, he meets Jules, who he now must find out if she is behind his friend’s demise or if she is innocent just like Marco. The moment he meets her he is taken with her, there is just something about here and the attraction is mutual. It wasn’t until Theo came into her life that Jules realized who her fiancé really was, a lying and cheating partner that was ready to let her take for the fall for his wrongful deeds. Now the question is can she trust Theo with not only her heart but her life.

I really fell in love with both of these characters instantly. Jules was such a strong and very stubborn female lead. She quickly finds out that her life is not what she thought it was and her life as she knows it could be over very soon and she would end up being in a lot of trouble with the law. Rather than cower and run away from her problems, she is ready to take them on, head on. Theo is a sexy hot alpha male who is instantly taken with Jules and wants to not only rescue his friend from the trouble he has gotten himself into but also save Jules. I really enjoyed these two together, their banter at times had me cracking up at them.

Although I loved the characters and the storyline was good, I found the pace of this story to be a bit to fast and it to be jumping all over the place at times. At times I was confused with all that was going on and in trying to figure it out, found myself going back to re-read to see if I was missing something. Due to this, even though the story was suspenseful, I found myself not fully engaged in it like I normally am with this type of storyline. I also found the relationship between Jules and Theo to be feeling very inst-love, something I do not enjoy in a storyline. With the insta-love storyline happening so soon in this one, I think it really played a part in my engagement in this story and set the tone for the rest of the book for me.

Overall this one was just okay for me. I really wanted to love this one as I do enjoy a suspenseful romance from time to time. I think my thoughts on this one will put me in the minority and due to more of my personal preference and not the book itself so please take that in consideration when reading this review and deciding to read this one as this even though I loved this author’s other books I have read and maybe I went into this with expecting something different, this one just didn’t work for me.

OOOO the second she said Theo james I was like YES YES YES love a Greek God with a sexy alpha side !! This story was full of suspense and mystery but did not lack in the emotion and heat department at all. I thought I had it figured out but I was so very wrong !! i had 3 different scenarios going BUT what really went on was a complex version of 1 of my scenarios !! Why I could never be a writer LOL. There isn't much you can say without spoiling so here is a classic vague-view by me !!

Charlie and Jules best friends since Middle School - they went through every stage of friendship from the simple to the complex to the benefits and then finally to the actual relationship !! Now they are partners in business and engaged BUT the love seems lost and Charlie has gone from the great guy to an almost abusive jerk. Very quickly we see that Jules is somewhat clueless to the dirty doings going on in her business. Who the heck can she trust ?? Not Charlie but what about Mystery Giant in all his sexy hotness and glory !! I think in a normal situation there would have been more resistance BUT when Jules is faced with lies , secrets and mistrust you may as well go with your gut and take advantage of the offerings !! Jules and Theo had a super hot and instant chemistry. We can think it is a means to an end but it may actually be the real thing. this is the beauty and agony of this story. You will question everyone and every move. I have to say there was times where I doubted Jules and Theo and that was rough. There are many players in this game and maybe you will have it all figured out BUT I do think JB did a great job of building the mystery and throwing things in to make you go HMMMMM LOL. In the end there will be happiness BUT who will have it ??

Who doesn't love a hot Greek God? Theo is the alpha male who has the looks to back it up. Jules is seriously the fiery type of girl that someone like Theo needs in his life. This story was a suspenseful romance and it definitely keeps you on your toes. Every time I thought I had something figured out I was thrown by a new twist in the story. The author knows how to keep the story flowing while still keeping you guessing and making you turn those pages to finally get all the answers to the questions that keep coming. I loved this story and this authors take on the Greek God. It's always nice to read a new fresh take on something we feel like we already know. I can't wait to read more by this author since this was my first book.

It's a bird, it's a plane...nope, it's just Theo Katawhateverhisnameis!!!

This book was fantastic! I haven't read one of JB's books in some time and I loved the suspense twist on this one. Not to mention, I absolutely loved Theo. He was hot, sexy, smart AND sweet as pie! He is the complete package.
There is major chemistry from the moment he and Jules meet...but whoa! You won't see all the twists and turns coming...and it made the story even harder to put down. The first two nights I started reading this, I could barely fall asleep for wondering what was going to happen and for coming up with my own plot twists...none of which I guessed correctly.
This book is a quick read but packed full of good stuff. Lots of depth and good character building. I could picture each one of them vividly in my mind.
I rarely give books full 5 star ratings but this one was a no brainer as I loved the suspense element with the hotness mixed in. It fulfilled all my book needs with the hot spark and hot sex along with a "real" story --not some story that I could finish writing after reading the first two chapters.
I would recommend this one to ANY of my book loving friends!

Out of the Storm is a well-executed and unpredictable romantic suspense novel by JB McGee. I was impressed by the quick pacing (very well done) that kept me guessing all the way to the end. It was a wild ride and I enjoyed it. Nothing turns out the way you think it will and I love JB for working her story in such a way that it didn't devolve into a plot-hole ridden mess for the sake of a Super Ultra Maxi Plus Suspense Story (its realllllllly easy to do in this genre). The story is tight, fleshed out, thoughtful, and complete.

This was an excellent start to a series (I hope!) because I want to hear more from some of the supporting characters. Just make Charlie hit the gym for a few months, then give me his story! Please and thank you.

JB's writing style is solid and nearly error free (what can I say? I'm an editor and I find things!). In a world where crappy writing is standard, I was pleased as punch to see the care with which this novel was written overall. Very well done and I want to see more!

Four stars. Recommended to anyone who loves romantic suspense and Greek Gods. Like... the non-mythology hottie types.

**** 4.5 Stars ****

I adored Theo Kata...yeah anyway he is agapemeni! He's swoon worthy and a knight in shining armor to Jules' supposed Cinderella story. He rescues her without even trying and her not even realizing she needs saving.

Theo comes to the rescue of his longtime friend who is like a brother to him Marco. He is in too deep with the investment firm Hemingway and Hawke. Jules Hemingway and Charlie Hawke are an engaged couple that own the firm. Jules is the brain and the beauty of the two. Her smile captures Theo right away. Jules meticulous book keeping and notes have realized something in the books isn't adding up. Is Charlie to blame or has something gone really wrong without her knowledge?

Charlie Hawke is the essential smarmy guy that thinks women are his property and the world owes. Nothing is off limits to him. One day Theo and Charlie bump into each other at the gym and this is where the story takes a turn. All 3 become embroiled in a mystery and everything is on the table. Hearts, bodies and relationships included.

This story was unlike any other story by this author. I believe she could write any genre and put her spin on it. This is a story full of love and mystery and off the charts lust. Seriously at times I had to fan myself and place the book down. I feel I must state and not to scare the readers that this book has insta lust. Lust so steamy you might need a break to cool off. I also want to state that Theo can stand under my umbrella any day.

I fell in love with JB’s writing after reading Heartfall. I continued on with The Magnolia Grove Series and adored that as well, but I can honestly say that Out of the Storm is my favorite of her writing thus far.

What is more sexy than a Greek man built like a God who has a heart of gold?!? Theo Whateverisname, is the perfect hero.

“I don’t even know her, but I already know he doesn’t deserve her.”

Trying to help his best friend, Marco, out of a jam, he mets Jules. Jules is a strong, feisty, gorgeous woman who is engaged to an awful man. One “chance” meeting with Theo and the chemistry is flying!

“Just two broken souls who weathered a hell of a storm, the only two to make it out alive and whole--…”

I loved everything about this story! It was sexy, full of drama and suspense, had a bunch of twists and turns that I did not expect, and I couldn’t get enough. I was so mad that I had to keep putting the book down to be an adult when all I wanted to do was continued to be lost in Theo & Jules’ world. The two of them together were hot as hell, but this story was so much more than just chemistry. It was intense, soul searching, life changing love. I look forward to much more from Ms. McGee! Steamy, sexy, suspensful read that I couldn't put down. I started this book and right off the bat I LOVED Theo and Jules. Their chemistry was perfect and melted the pages. The sexy parts were hot hot hot. Jules is smart, beautiful and fierce, and Theo is swoony, hot and mega protective.

The story itself is pretty steamy and sexy but there's a lot of twists and turns and suspense in there too. It kept me on the edge of my seat and i couldn't put it down. JB McGee's talents clearly know no bounds, she's an amazing storyteller one that I think everyone should try out at some point. This is romantic suspense so if that's your favorite genre give this one a try you wont be sorry.

It took a while for me to get into this book. Now, I am really upset that I read this book because I want to be able to experience it again. Once it took off, hold on for the ride of your life. This book was like one of those amusement park rides where you free fall. You're going up, your adrenaline starts pumping, then you drop to the bottom and feel your heart in your chest. As soon as you get off, all you can think about is doing it again. I really hope there is a second book so we can see some resolution with the Marco situation.

4.5 'Greek God' STARS!!

I read Out of the Storm when it was still on wattpad and re-reading it now, I still got the adrenaline rush and anticipation of what'd come next in the book. It kept me on the edge of my seat, squirming (because holy hell, Theo!), wishing I could read faster. This book was fun, sweet, hot, sexy, and the twist—it kept you guessing in every turn. Unlike any other I've read before. If you're a romantic suspense lover, you definitely should read this book!

This is not like any of the previous books I've read from J.B. McGee, as I loved the This and Magnolia Cove series; but the departure was really good. It grabbed me right out of the gate, and kept me completely enthralled until the absolute end. It took me a minute to fully get my head around the drama as it was unfolding, and I was glad that we got the POV of several of the characters along the way, helping the reader to put all the pieces together. My opinions of Charlie were all over the place, and all I could think of was how hard it must be to be completely betrayed by someone you trusted. This was definitely a little more edgy than what I'm used to from this author, but she pulled it off. Thanks J.B. for an ARC of this adventure for my honest feedback.

Out of the Storm is not my first J.B. MGee read but this story is completely different from what I am use to from her and did not expect this sexy suspenseful read. McGee surprised and kept me on my toes with the twist and turns of this story.

Theo Kataigida is a very rich businessman who finds himself trying to save his best friend from a financial catastrophe even if it means using himself and his own money to set forth a plan and see it through. The only problem was who could he trust and what even seems real. Theo is one spine tingling Greek Adonis who gets lost in the twister that is Jules and the lies that surround her.

Jules Hemingway's life has been turned upside down, she finds herself in the middle of a scam. The only thing that seems to feel right to her is the mystery giant that is Theo Katawhateverhisnameis, one minute he is a stranger and the next they are connected mind, body and soul. Will the feelings that she has for Theo be enough to get her through the biggest storm of her life or will the lies be to much for both of them to weather?

OMG!!! Out of the Storm will have your emotions at the highest peak, I at times felt myself gravitating to pulling my own hair out. The sexual chemistry between Jules and Theo is felt from the beginning, I'm pretty sure I even felt it. The characters Marco, Charlie, Jake and Ana are such an added bonus, I had more of a hate relationship with them. I am pretty sure Jules will frustrate most readers but Theo...oh hell no! He is dominate alpha male personified, in my opinion he alone deserves five stars. This is a perfectly written 5 Star McGee read!

I received this book for my honest review by the author

When I read romance books I always have to have something else with it suspense mystery something like that keep me going let's face it moments isn't that fun and not that exciting this one have it with me to so many loops and omg moments it was unbelievable. So we all wish that a knight and shining armor would save us and for the store Marco was it he would do anything to save Jules. As for Charlie Jules fiancé he's a special kind of asshole who had his fiancée kidnapped well attempted to be kidnapped that is until Marco intercepted her. You don't know who Marco is or if you can trust him! Jules is totally blind when it comes to Charlie too she at first doesn't believe anything Marco tells her but starts too. I have to stop myself from saying to much because you have to read this book to find out what happens to Jules and Charlie and Jules and Marco! Did I mention the FBI?! The only thing I would say I didn't like was how fast Jules and Marco got involved and not a lot leading into them one minute they are talking and next WHAM they are having sex I don't think that's very believable anyways! I will say lots of hot sexy moments in this book too. Enjoy the book I know I did

***ARC PROVIDED BY THE AUTHOR IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW***

J.B. McGee was an author I didn't know much about so didn't really know what to expect when getting stuck into reading 'Out Of The Storm' so I was pleased that I really enjoyed what I read. This was a 4 star read for me.

Theo and Jules are brought together not by chance but by Theo stalking her out and staking his claim. Although Jules is already engaged and Theo is trying to find out if she is as deceitful as her fiancé he can't help but be affected by the energy and spark that is going off between them.

Originally Theo was just trying to discover what was going on with Jules and her fiancé Charlie's business and what they were doing with their clients' money as his best friend had an account with them. However it didn't take him long to be snared by Jules and her beauty, wit and the no nonsense banter that she gave him. Jules seems innocent but he doesn't know for sure.

This was an thrilling tale of trust, longing and passion that had many twists and turns to keep you engrossed. Jules and Theo make great characters and there is definitely some heat between them but trust is something that is gained and they need to gain each others. A romantic thriller is how I would best describe this book and I would happily recommend this book to others.

This book kept me on my toes that whole time! The only other book that I have read by J.B. McGee is Heartfall and that one to me is also a 5 star book, but they are totally different! Both are amazing in their own way, but lets talk about this one!!!

Theo is an alpha male that is trying to help out his best friend who invested money in a firm. Jules is one of the partners at the firm that is taking care of the friends money. One look at Jules and Theo is addicted. He can't get her out of his mind and he hasn't even met her. When he does meet her he is hooked. They have instant chemistry and you can just feel the tension between the two.

This story bring you steamy scenes, drama, mystery, and an ending that I did not see coming. I was completely surprised at it when I read it. You want a book that is going to keep you reading and guessing and that is what it will do. You will feel the emotions between the characters. The betrayal, the attraction, the anger, etc. The author is able to bring all of these feelings out of you.

Like I said before, if you want drama, mystery, chemistry, suspense, and some hot scenes then this is the book for you. You won't be disappointed!

I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for a voluntary, completely honest, and non-incentivized review.

Out of The Storm by JB McGee was hot and steamy chemistry, unexpected twists, suspenseful, with complex main characters readers will love! The only way it could have scored a higher rating than the 4.5 star review I am giving it would be a different way to accomplish the dual POVs. Too much repetition is the only negative. The story line and creativity is outstanding! Theo will make female readers hearts melt.

Will Hold You Captive Until The Very End!
A 5 Star MUST Read!

JB McGee, if this is how you write, you have a new super fan! As this was my first book by this author, I can honestly say I will be seeking out her writing from this point on. Out of the Storm is a well-crafted and fast-paced read that left me spinning until the very end. I LOVE when a writer can build in a fantastic series of twists and turns that keep readers questioning until the final reveal. I usually find that I have the plot line figured out, but McGee held me captive until the end. Well done, and THANK YOU!

Utilizing multiple points of view, the author builds a story that is deep and riveting. The characters are complex and full of passion, determination, and fire. And the infusion of banter and wit is perfectly placed within the dialogue, adding to the level of sizzle between Jules and Theo. But even greater still is her ability to make me need more from a character I could not stand! Out of the Storm is a definite MUST READ! I promise, you won’t be disappointed.

Do you ever know when you're really out of the storm? I didn't, this book kept me guessing until the very end, if I'm being honest with myself I had partial truths and certain things correct but not anywhere close to actually knowing what was going on.

It took me a few hours to read this and another day to process it all and here's my opinion... there were things about this book that definitely irritated me, mostly how I couldn't pin what exactly was going on but also the lead female. At times I really just wanted to strangle her. That being said I enjoyed the book very much, it was something different from the other books I have been reading lately and also my first book by this author but definitely not my last.

If you're looking for something that will keep you guessing and not wanting to put the book down this is it! If you're like me and enjoy knowing that you guessed the ending correctly all I can say is good luck!

So this was my first book by JB and even though it wasn't the genre I usually read (sorry more of a YA lover)
I'm pretty sure Many and I do mean Many will love this story!!!

I have to say I love how Strong Jules was (the MC) She is Fiery, Stubborn, Fierce, Loving, doesn't sugarcoat anything, and has a Big Trusting Heart. Theo (other MC) I found to be Charming, Funny, Protective, Loyal, Affectionate. Oh and what a Mouth on him... Boy had a way with words is all I'm saying!! The two of these characters sizzled together! The sparks between them were off the wall Bold & Hot for those who enjoy that and the Schmexy times too ;) Their banter at times was light and fun. The suspense of what Jules's douchebag fiancé was hiding was driving me CA-Razzzy and kept me turning the page to find out what evil shenanigans he may have been up to!!! I just needed to KNOW how Jules & Theo's story would end so I kept going and WOW the ending just about Shocked me is all I'm saying.

*Book Releases Jan. 31st so don't Miss Out on this Naughty & Suspenseful story with Loads of Steaminess!!!!!!
