No Regrets is a STAND ALONE New Adult novel

Henry broke Zadie’s heart once, is she fool enough to let it happen again?

It’s not like she has a history of making good choices. In fact, she has a history of making terrible choices. Her biggest regret? Henry. He’s sexy, sweet and willing to do what it takes to get another chance, but does he deserve it?

I really enjoyed the story line about 2 teens, Henry and Zadie, who were good friends in high school and Zadie had a crush on Henry, though until Prom night, Henry did not make the prom with Zadie and she ended up having to go with someone else. She never knew the reason why.

While Zadie was away at college, nothing went well at that college, she went back home and went to College with her friends Josh and Tricia, Josh found her a job, because where Zadie working at an ice cream parlor was going no where, but the only thing Josh didn't tell Zadie, she would be working with Henry Fletcher, her crush for the last 3 yrs.

Zadie will not let Henry make her out for a fool this time, but Henry is not up to that, also his best friend Tate Christensen works at the pool, who can have any girl he wants, but is seeing a married woman who then has to pretend he's dating Zadie so her husband would not find out.

So many parties, and pool parties, on the way to one of them, Henry does tell Zadie how he really feels about her, and the feelings are mutual, they hang out a lot together, but because of certain terms/policies at the job, they cannot date fellow co workers. But so many things happen also with Tate, he turns out to be a good friend also to Zadie, they all get along, but do Zadie and Henry stay together? No Regrets, is just that, letting things fall into place.

I really enjoyed the book, story line, first read by Roxy Queen the author and I loved it! She describes the characters very well, and there emotions. :)

I give this a 4 1/2 stars out of 5.

Zadie is a a person that can have a self esteem issue when things get out of her control. She feels lost when she doesn't have a handle on things and starts trying to figure out what everyone is thinking.

Henry is your typical teenager in school. He has girlfriends and plenty of other friends. He is somewhat popular in school. When he hints to everyone that he is going with Zadie but never asks her not only is she heart broken but wants to get back at him.

After Zadie graduates high school she leaves her friends behind to go out of state to college. That works out not so well. She ends up back home by her friends. What she doesn't realize is who her neighbors are. Henry lives right below her. She doesn't know this until she starts working the same place as Henry.

As the summer grows on Henry and Zadie start to try and figure out what they want. They want no regrets from that day forward. Things are going good until a series of events knocks Zadie out of her control. Does she runaway again or does she stay? Does she and Henry end up in a relationship or do they fall apart? What happens is not only a surprise but also very enlightening.

I loved this....I will admit, Zadie annoyed me, she was quite a drama queen, she over thought way to many things. I did love the fact that Henry fought for her though, truly and he never let her give up. He stuck around. I wanted more, I'm hoping to learn what happens to Tate and Lisa....

I do love Roxy's writing, she always intrigues me and sucks me in. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop the whole book....and of course when it did it wasn't what I was expecting.

Such a great premise. Beautifully written coming of age story. Zadie tries to get back at Henry for things he did back in high school but between making bad choices and taking to much responsibility for the things that happen, payback is the last thing that happens.
