After a shocking betrayal, Bailey finds herself taken by mercenaries and handed over to an even worse group of monsters. Led by a cold and calculating scientist, they see immune people as the answer to the infection—no more than test subjects to use for their own gains. Bailey soon realizes that escape may be harder than she expected, even when a familiar face is thrown back into her life. Together, they must attempt to rally the troops and escape their forced imprisonment—or face heinous experiments, all done in the name of finding a vaccine.
In the series finale, Bailey is pushed to the limit as she sees just how far she will go to protect herself and her friends. Will she stand her ground, or will the new world take her down with it?
N. D. Iverson is a young author trying to find her niche in the world. She has a business degree - to which she is still trying to find a practical application for. She has bounced from half-baked ideas of becoming a forensic pathologist (cut short when the option for attending an autopsy came up and she rather quickly decided maybe that wasn't for her), a member of a rock band (sadly, neither she nor her friends could play instruments or sing, not that it's a requirement these days...), and many more.
This Would Be Paradise is her first completed novel, which has started a chain reaction of one-too-many book ideas dancing around in her head. She plans on wrangling in these ideas and turning them into something readable. So keep an eye out for more to come!
It has been awhile since I last read book two in this series. I will admit, I was a tad lost about what was going on. It also took me awhile to finish.
Bailey is taken to a hospital with other “immunes” to basically be tested and maybe someday find a cure for everyone else. Most of it is her trying to escape and finding a way out of the hospital. But the action doesn’t even end there, it goes throughout the story.
Unfortunately, I didn’t feel the connection I had previous to Bailey. I felt that Ethan wasn’t really part of the story, and the ending of him was disappointing. But still the writing is very good and I did end up finishing, This would be paradise. I think this was a good series. I felt that some of the characters were on the back burner, though.
Overall, I give this Three Boundless Stars. It was a good ending to a series.
This book was ultimately better than the second in my eyes. It was fast paced and action packed and more original in terms of story than many of the other zombie books I’ve read.
However, I am very annoyed with the death in this book!! It seems each one, a fave of mine has to die. I also got less fond of bailey as the series went on. Though I’m not sure if that’s just because I tend not to like main female leads.
Overall this was a good zombie series, that I felt was refreshing from the norm. I would recommend to anyone.
As a YA zombie series this was a solid 4 star read for me as a whole, whilst some parts of this series were fast paced, others were slow moving, I also wanted more from Zoe and Bailey since they were best friends I didn't feel like this series showcased their friendship, they barely spoke, they barely spent time together, so that bond didn't shine through in this like I was hoping for.
As this series was wrapped up, I was really hoping for a bit more with the ending, it felt cut off and rushed, it would've been nice to have seen what they thought of the safe haven they were heading towards with the new group they'd encountered in this book. I wanted to see them settled and how the dynamics would've played out.
For a horror/apocalyptic story, this was truly an amazing series. I was so pleased to finally find a zombie series, if you will, that wasn't horribly written or overly predictable. I really enjoyed reading Bailey's story, and would recommend this book to anyone even remotely interested in the genre.
My emotions were all over the place, as the author really knew how to get my laughter/tear ducts going. Can't wait to read more from this author, I have so much support (and respect) for their upcoming works - this is such an accomplished set of books!
Very good way to wrap up the series. The characters are well developed & interesting. I am glad the series ended as it did as far too many series continue long past the point of interest.
A good read and a couple of surprises that I did not see coming, and a few cliches too. All in all a great series that could be continued, but it nicely closed every loose end.
All three of these books are amazing. Never ending action, and dialogue that flows flawlessly. The characters are intriguing and the story makes your heart pound! ND Iverson weaves an amazing story all the way through. I am excited to see what else they write.
This one was my final straw… why did all of the guys have to die… She became really brutal in this one though. The character growth was crazy. It was a really good series I just wish all the boys were still alive.
Bailey is back and still fighting for her life not only against the zombies but against humans as well. Bailey is kidnapped and wakes up in a hospital where they are running test on people that are immune to the zombie virus. They are hoping to find a cure for the virus but they don’t care who or how many live people have to die while trying to find a cure for the zombie virus or just how it works.
Bailey is making plans to escape and hopes to get everyone else on board with her plans but that may be just as hard as escaping itself may be. You know even if she does get everyone on the same team and working together can they all make it out alive?
Bailey also wants to know who is helping the people at the hospital and she wants to stop the ones that are kidnapping the immunes. The people that are immune are people to they are not test subjects or a rat in cage and what they are doing is wrong and Bailey will put a stop to it if it is the last thing she does.
I read This Would Be Paradise books 1 and 2 and loved them both just as much as This Would Be Paradis book 3. I have loved following Bailey along on her journey fighting against the zombies and the humans as well. This has been one amazing journey and I would like to see more of Bailey’s journey and fighting the zombies. Bailey is not a girl/woman to lay down and let a man take care of everything for her no Bailey is a very strong woman who knows how to take care of herself. She is a zombie killing machine.
If you like reading books about zombies as much as I do then trust me you are going to love This Would Be Paradise book 3. It will grab a hold of you from the first page and won’t let go until you have read the last word. It is filled with so much zombie action that will leave you wanting more and more.
So disappointed with this book to be honest. I was expecting so much more. I found Bailey really dull in this book whereas in the previous book I felt she was starting to come into her own. I would have loved some more internal conflict like the last book. Or even a bit more of her thoughts / feelings. I felt like she fell a bit flat.
I found the general descriptions a bit monotonous, which I had thought with the first book but the second book was better. I was very disappointed with this. I didn’t really feel for any of the characters. I didn’t care about any of the deaths. It felt somewhat repetitive even though the plot was different. I’m not sure why that is.
I gave it two stars because I was disappointed with it.

TWBP's 3rd and final book has crazy plot twists and a somewhat sad ending, but it has lots of action and reveals the true nature of characters you grow to like throughout the series.
I really enjoyed the Paradise series. It was easy to transition from one to the next. The ending was satisfying. I look forward to more adventures from you
Firstly let me say I have loved the series. But being an avid reader I found the story hard to pick back up. I have read so many books since. Would have been good to have a recap chapter to refresh memories of the back story and characters.
This was a fast paced good zombie series. I love strong female leads and this didn't disappoint. My only complaint is that the series does not continue to give the characters more time to develop
Brilliant 3 part series, all as good as each other. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys this genre of book, you will not be disappointed. Great characters who you will grow to love as much as the main character Bailey does. Recommend you read the first 2 books in the trilogy first. This was one of those series you didn't want to end. Maybe just maybe with enough encouragement we could twist the author's arm to write one or two more!!!
Honestly this series was AMAZING! I finished book one and two very quickly. I just couldn't put them down. Same for this book. N.D Iverson is an amazing author who knows how to pull readers right in. Would definitely recommend this series.❤️
Took a chance on this series as I was in a lull waiting for the next installment of a few others and was so glad I did as I found a brew heroine in Bailey, thank you!
I was very impressed with this series. I don't usually read zombie books preferring prepper apocalypse but this was exciting and kept my interest. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes any apocalyptic books.
