The mic first dropped in October, 1852 when an expedition to the top of the mountain went askew and too many things could not be explained. What followed was confirmation that the mystery not only existed; but aggressively defends the lair.

Scary Encounters With the Aswang
This book is another great entry in the Sightings series. The focus this time is on the Mount App Aswang, a creature in the Philippines. While there are some Tagalog words that aren't translated, the stories are told in the voices of the people who saw it. Some are tourists, some are residents, but all have encountered the creature. Some of these takes will creep you out. A must read for cryptid lovers. Be sure to check out more great books in the Sightings series. I'm reading them all!
