Devil WithIn - Had to try it out from a fav author of mine. Kali Argent.
She pulls herself from the stars of sci-Fi and steps into the dark realm.
Not only did Kali pull it off she made it work.
Two that probably should have never met meet. One damaged by war, the other damaged by life.
Phoebe does what she can to survive but that’s all she does barely. Rayce War has taken its toll and has his own issues to deal with. But as life goes sometimes its way easier dealing with others than dealing with your own.
Nightmares and dreams, some of it becomes a reality as stalker makes itself known. Kali writes so many layers of mystery. I really enjoyed the story and the mystery of it. The characters. I recommend this and I’m sure you will enjoy.

Rayce’s life changed in an instant. He went from the depths of despair to working at a job he loves. Especially as his job allowed him to meet Phoebe. But convincing Phoebe to give him a chance may be his toughest challenge yet. Will Phoebe allow Rayce within her heart and world before it is too late?
Devil Within is first in Kali Argent’s Bodyguard Incorporated series. I must admit I adored Rayce. He was flawed but full of humor. I loved his ability to make not only Phoebe laugh but me as well. He was protective but had a soft heart. I loved that Ms. Argent allowed us to see Rayce as more than his job. He understood that Phoebe had issues trusting but did not allow that to deter him from working to have and keep her in his life. And Ms. Argent gave us a great character in Phoebe. She has had atrocious taste in men but will Rayce be different? I loved finding out along with Phoebe. I enjoyed seeing Rayce sneak past Phoebe’ s guard and into her heart. I loved that Ms. Argent allowed Phoebe the time to trust that Rayce meant what he said. He made her feel safe and they were able to build on those feelings. I also enjoyed meeting the men and women of WSS. I enjoyed the feeling of camaraderie and respect. Ms. Argent is building a world here that I can’t wait to delve into.

Rayce&Phoebe
Love the 3013 series by this author and there was no hesitation in buying this 1st book in her new series. Loved it from start to finish. Phoebe was down on her luck hard and with only a thumb drive in her hand that could make or break her, it's her last and only hope. 3 years later she is a successful author and is attending a gala which she has been asked to give a talk, here she meets the hero Rayce when he pretends to be her boyfriend and rescues her from her arrogant ex. 3 years earlier Rayce the hero has just finished up his last tour in Afghanistan and is living in an rat infested apart, he's behind on his rent, his water has been shut off and he's suffering from PTSD, and was contemplating on ending his life until one phone call changed his life. It's 3 years later that he meets Phoebe while he and his security firm is doing security for the same gala that Phoebe is attending and from there, their love story starts. There is danger so close who is threatening to destroy what Rayce and Phoebe have. Will Rayce and his team arrive in time to save Phoebe from the danger. You'll have to buy the book to find out. Can't wait for the next book.

"Devil Within" is a great read. No matter the genre, Ms. Argent masters it. I love this new series, Bodyguard Incorporated. The characters are an elite team of bodyguards/private investigators. They are sexy and tough with hearts as big as Texas. I can't wait to read all their stories.,,,,,,,,hint, hint :)
War Vet, Rayce returns from Afghanistan to nothing, but nightmares and poverty. Phoebe, homeless and living out of her car, has nothing but a dream, and a stalker. When their paths cross, Rayce falls hard for Phoebe. He vows to protect her, even slay the "Devil Within." Argent keeps you guessing the stalker's identify until the end. Which I loved!!!! I choose to read and review this ARC.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Ohhhhhhh I am loving this 1st book in a new series by Kali Argent. But that not a surprise every time she releases a new book, I'm on it so fast I swear I could break the sound barrier. I can't wait for more that's for sure. *must now wait impatiently oops patiently*
