Who better to teach me all about sex than a big bad professor…
AUDREY ROSS: Professor Hollander gave me an F! What the hell. I work my ass off to get good grades! Even if he is as sexy as hell, I’d never suck up to him or even suck him off for an A.
But then it turns out he gave everyone an F and we all started venting on FaceSpace. Then someone posted this: Hollander couldn’t even teach a virgin how to come! Right, Audrey Ross? lol!!!
Now everyone knows I’m a virgin, even Chase Hollander.
He just private messaged me and offered to help me with my little virginity problem.
He’s going to make me come, he says, and this time he’ll make sure I get an A…
CHASE HOLLANDER: Yeah. My class is hard. I know the students hate me for it. The little bastards want to complain? I’ll show them what hard really is. F*ck it. I don’t care about the consequences. Hell, at this point I don’t have much left to lose.
So I gave the whole class an F.
Then they start bitching about me on FaceSpace. But it got interesting. Audrey Ross, the only girl in the class who gives a shit about her grades, is outed as a virgin.
She complains that I gave her an F? I’ll give the virgin the biggest O she’s ever had.
I really enjoyed this steamy, erotic student/professor story...it was a quick read with very likable characters Chase and Audrey who were both to bold for their own good...
Professor Chase really done it this time when he gave everyone a big F grade, he especially pissed off Audrey who tried her best at college and she is the one of the good students ....so what will happen after that? well for some really weird and ironic coincidence he will learn that she is a virgin...so if she wants a Big A in S lesson she will have to loosen up a little..
Chase has a painful past so his personality is not the cheerful one, that will change when Audrey will become a part of his life, she is stubborn and well as you will see she has a sexy kitten inside of her..they have a great chemistry and i liked them as a couple even for a few pages!!
Many hot scenes and fun, enjoyable dialogues definitely a story that will leave you with a sweet smile in the end with its plot and of course with its HEA. So yeah i definitely recommend it an i'm looking forward to the next story the author will create!!!
This is a really fun, steamy and quick read – perfect for when you want a pick me up. It isn’t deep and meaningful but it is entertaining and easy to read. Despite being short there is some good character development, and enough background story given to get a sense of who the characters are. Yes the basis of the story is a little unlikely but that is what makes it such a good piece of escapism. Both the hero and heroine were likeable characters and there were some good supporting cast too. There were some nice touches of humour, as well as moments of angst and a hot sex scene. The author uses some crude language, but for me it either fits with the age of the character using it or worked within the situation, only once or twice did it seem out of place.
I voluntarily read an Advanced Readers Copy of this book. When I first started reading this book I really really wanted to hate Professor Hollander, he is an mean because he gave all his students an F just cause he wanted too. But after reading his story I understood him better and got to like him.
Although it was a short story it was a very well written one.
The reason why I gave this book 4 stars it's because I liked it not love it. With that being said, this was the first book that I read by this author. I'm looking forward to reading more of Tia Siren books in the future.
I am pretty sure that this is one of my Bookbub buys because it came up as Free at the time and it sounded intriguing.
The blurb above really tells the story. There is approximately a twenty year difference between the characters and Chase has had a drink and cigarette problem for the last two years and it is a morning after a bender that he realises what he has done with the classes grades. An instant message later with a horny student later and the are both naked in his house.
The book goes very quickly and we get a good positive outlook at the end with all characters concerned in happy places.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Alright well…This was not good. I mean…the blurb itself makes me mad. I’m getting mad all over again reading it for this post. You’re going to give everyone an F? Really? So you’re just going to punish the hard workers too. That doesn’t make you a good professor. Then he’s going to complain that his students are complaining? What did you think would happen? That they would instantly turn into hard workers? Oh my goat, I need to move on.
This is another one for the DNF pile. I swear, it’s like different authors wrote the books I’ve read.
First off, the cover actually makes me feel awkward. Either nix the glasses or put him in a white button down with the sleeves rolled up.
Then there’s the blurb. Honestly, I found it a bit creepy. I mean, she’s outed as a virgin and then he decides to pop her cherry because he’s complaining that a girl who cares about her grades is complaining about the F she didn’t deserve?
Then there was the fact that she starts complaining about hardly doing the work because she has ADD….I have ADD, and I know that that’s not an excuse for hardly doing the work, you have to work harder to focus so that you can do the work.
The last straw was when it just seemed like the author was trying to be as vulgar as possible on every page.
I don’t care about why you’re still a virgin, I don’t care, I don’t need pages of an explanation just get on with the story. I just couldn’t go on, I was only 22% in, 40 minutes to go, feeling like I was forcing myself to continue.
Big Bad Professor is the story of a 22yr old virgin who falls for her 43yr old English Professor who had a drinking problem and his life is basically in the toilet. This book had a solid plot and likeable characters, but I felt like the author let the sexual relationship take over the whole book. I understand that this is a romance novel and most people read them because they enjoy the steamy relationships and the fantasy that comes with them. However I felt like this particular story was a bit outlandish and over the top. There where things I liked about this book such as the circumstances that brought then together, the fact that she is young and experienced and he is older and the HEA, there are things I didn't like about the book as well, like the fact that she was treating her virginity like it's a condition that needed to be fixed, I didn't like some of the supporting characters and at times the over use of some phrases.
The title story here is NOT a book, at best it's a short story and took up less than 10% of the kindle file. The other 90% was "bonus" content or what I consider "racking up page count to get paid under Kindle Unlimited" - since I actually paid for the story, it feels like a rip off. I paid 99 cents for 30 minutes of poorly written material.
By poorly written, I mean the following: - A bad set up. The two main characters don't have enough interaction prior to anything to make a relationship be believable. -Unrelatable characters. The female MC is made out to be a cheater and willing to prostitute herself for grades. The male lead is a drunk and a jerk. -Sexy times are overly graphic and several descriptions are just gross.
I picked this up because the premise with it's forbidden element was intriguing. Had there been some build up or back story this could have been an entertaining read, but as it's written, it's not material I could encourage anyone else to pick up.
Audrey Ross a virgin college student was waiting nervously for her grade in English Literature which was supposed to be posted by her professor Chase Hollander. The professor was a smoking and drinking mess. He had been an excellent teacher up until his little girl was killed in a head-on collision when was driving. A couple of years after the child's death, his wife gave up on him and left. Pro. Hollander in his drunken stupor gave F's to the entire class. The class after seeing their grades began to rant! Audrey's BF's boyfriend posted on the school's FaceSpace that Audrey was a virgin! And as will happen on social media the rant went from the grades to Audrey's virginity! What happens next is both funny and sad! A great read!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book and am so glad I did because it was the first time reading this authors work and I was very happy with it! The characters were real (except maybe her roommate) and the taboo romance of Professor and student was only intensified because she's a virgin! The storyline is setup so Audrey will be offered help from her Professor in losing her virginity and I liked that Professor Chase Hollander was in need of help in his life too. I won't tell you what help that will ruin it for you!! lol
My only complaint is I wish the book was longer! I wish Ms. Siren had extended EVERYTHING so her book would have been more complete. I felt the same way with the other ARC book I read of hers except that book (Big Bad Royal) is a definite 5 star!!
**I voluntarily received an Advance Reader Copy of this book**
It was shorter than I normally read, but I loved it nonetheless. Perhaps it resonated with me because I'm currently pursuing a PhD and I have some professors who are pretty darn hot, myself! My only quip with the book is that it seemed like Audrey Ross, the heroine, fell in love with Chase Hollander, her professor, too fast; however, that could be due to a number of factors, such as he's her first, it's her personality to want to 'heal' or 'save' the wounded, etc. While it detracted from the story, it wasn't enough to lower the rating by more than one star. The sex scenes were well-written and HOT! I would recommend this book. The ending had me tearing up a bit, fair warning.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by this story. Audrey was a virgin, but didn't want to be. Chase was in a very dark place, and just needed someone to help him out of it. It started out as just sex, but they were good for each other in other ways too. This was a short, sexy read with some feels.
A short fun read. The pain he goes through and the embarrassment she has. A lot to over come. It is exciting to see how everything goes or plays out. And the people around her. Are they as much of one as she thinks they are? I recommend reading this. There are a couple of life lessons in here you don't want to miss. I was given this advanced review copy and voluntarily review it.
Loved, loved, loved this amazing story. It's a fast, fun and sexy read. This story is wonderfully written. The dialogue throughout the story was sharp and witty, a true pleasure to read. I would highly recommend it to everyone, you will not be disappointed. I voluntarily read an advance review copy of this book.
This was a great quick read erotic novella that left me hot and wanting to read more. Great job Ms. Siren! This had the right amount of alpha hot man and innocent young girl. I would recommend this book if you are looking for a quick, fun, dirty, taboo read.
Very quick short story. I wish it could've been a little longer. I enjoyed the characters Professor Hollander came across as a douche waffle until he told Audrey why he was the way he is, but who wouldn't be that way when you basically lose everything.
I bought this book and whilst I enjoyed the story on the cover, I was disappointed to discover it wasnt just this book. While yay, I got other books, they were not my cup of tea and we were not warned about the other books
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
He doesn't care....he is doing this just to torment me, this is what Audrey is thinking while waiting for her grades to show up online. How can he be so cruel. Audrey doesn't go out much at all, all she does is go to class, study, sleep, eat and repeat. She hasn't even lost her virgin status yet. None of this is important to her right now. What grade she earned is all that matters. It was supposed to be posted by 5pm today. It is now 9pm.
Being woken up from a drunken stupor by his phone is not something Professor Hollander wanted. Especially not coming from the person on the other side of the call....his boss. He wants to ignore it but doesn't....he regrets that. He gets told to get the grades online as in now. After he hangs up he does the one thing he really should have thought of first, but he did it anyways. Oh boy!
Chase (AKA Professor Hollander) has no regard for anything anymore. He did have such a fantastic life before. In one split moment his entire world changed for the worst possible. He lost everything, including his will to rise above and strive. He has a job he could care less about, he barely has friends, he is drinking and smoking instead of anything else. Then the call from his friend comes in, and tells him to look at the social media for the school site....after his little "joke" the tweets/entries are nothing favorable....and what is worse Audrey is called out for being a virgin. She is actually being told by fellow classmates, on a public site mind you, that if she gave Professor Hollander her V-card maybe she would get an A, maybe the whole class would. Chase can not believe his eyes.
The next step starts something between the two that can not be taken back, however, neither of them thought it would go the direction it is going. Propositions made, commitments given, and love blooms.....but is it with Chase and Audrey? What little bitter things happen that cause Chase to get into the bottle yet again? What is revealed that caused him to be this way in the first place? Why is he drawn to Audrey? What has she gone through in her life that has changed her? Do they have the chance to be together? Can they rise above all the negative and start in the positive direction? Man you really need to get this book and read all the details for yourself. Too good to put down, and you feel as if you are going through this at the same time. Awesome read, absolutely awesome.
Audrey is a serious college student, working hard to keep her grades up. She keeps her head down, she’s not a partier and she’s still a virgin.
Professor Chase Hollander is a broken man, heading for complete self-destruction. He’s a tenured professor and used to love his job, but after a couple of major personal tragedies he can’t fake it anymore. He drinks too much, smokes too much and just doesn’t care about anything anymore. So this is how Audrey’s whole class ends up with Fs… Chase is sick of the entitled, whiny students who don’t care about school or his class and he blasts them all by posting failing grades while he’s three sheets to the wind.
The online discussion board for the college starts going haywire about Professor Hollander’s grades and Audrey’s bff’s boyfriend chimes in to rally against Prof. Hollander, but inadvertently (or well, let’s face it, he was hammered too) posts online that Audrey is still a virgin. All of a sudden the gossip mill doesn’t care about the failing grades, they focus in on Audrey and start posting rude, insulting and degrading comments about her virginity and how Professor Hollander should take care of it for her, to make up for failing her.
Professor Hollander feels a tiny bit remorseful about putting Audrey in this awkward situation, but his guilt is quickly overpowered by his curiosity. He offers to teach Audrey anything she wants to know about sex (hands on/one-on-one lessons of course) and her being ready to shed the stigma of being a college virgin, Audrey takes Chase up on his offer.
They embark on what ends up being a very sexy, smoking hot relationship, but all the while they worry about getting caught and Chase also worries about his ghosts from the past. Can they make their forbidden student/teacher relationship work? What happens when they inevitably get caught? Will he be fired and lose tenure? Can Chase get over his broken heart and try to find love again with Audrey or will Audrey end up heartbroken?
Standalone taboo novel. Very steamy, well-written and a great read! Told in alternating POVs. HEA guaranteed.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader's copy of this book.
The Big Bad Professor offers a creative and emotionally wrenching play on the traditional storyline built around a college professor and one of his students. Chase isn’t the typical hot young alpha stud and Audrey isn’t your everyday goody two-shoes virgin. And how these two initially end up connecting offers a decidedly different, shocking and fast! twist on originality.
The author does a thorough job of painting Chase as a troubled and colorful college English professor and alcoholic. As the book begins, it’s rather challenging to find anything endearing about the guy, even when learning about his daughter dying and wife divorcing him. Small hints start adding up that Chase may have been dealt a tragic hand or two, and isn’t truly the unsalvageable deadbeat soul the reader may have initially assumed.
Audrey went from being a sex-starved virgin college co-ed who ends up embarrassed and humiliated by her peers, driven to have sex with her professor simply to lose her virginity, to a warm-hearted woman who can see beyond herself and her trivial problems.
The writing is steady-paced and solid, and author Tia Siren’s storytelling keeps my attention from start to finish. Phrasing cuts to the point, and character dialogue is believable and witty, especially between Audrey, her friend Rachel, and Rachel’s boyfriend Duke at the book’s onset. Their bluntness about sex, virginity and jock talk is probably pretty realistic.
Some readers may find the story short, but it is a novella and focuses on a snapshot in the lives of two characters who are pulled together in an unlikely and unusual way. The author does an impressively thorough job of weaving the right amount of backstory about both Chase and Audrey into the story itself to propel it along and validate why things have evolved in the way they did. The HEA is anticlimactic, but satisfyingly sweet.

BIG BAD PROFESSOR
Chase Hollander is a English Professor and a drunk. Due to a loss of someone close to him, his losing the will to live. He doesn't care about anything besides his next drink. He doesn't care about his students, he doesn't care that he may lose his job soon, and he doesn't care that he is slowly killing himself.
Audrey Ross is a college student in her final year. She doesn't really like her English class, but she needed to take this subject. She's not into partying and yea she is still a virgin, but she cares to much about her work right now to worry over it, too much.
When she finds out Professor Hollander has given the whole class an 'F', she's shocked and angry. The class is infuriated, they go onto an online college chat group where they rant their frustrations. But in the middle of it, Audrey's name and her virginity comes up. When Chase sees the conversation, he feels remorseful. And a spontaneous conversation between professor and student, change their lives forever.
I loved the concept of this short story. It was a sweet and entertaining read. I liked the characters and the dynamics of their relationship. Although the professor helps Audrey out, it's really Audrey that brings Chase back to life. We also experience humour, humiliation, and emotional heartbreak in this story, which makes it feel a little more real. However, I do think that parts of this story could have moved a little slower, it was still an enjoyable read. I would have liked to have read this story as a full length novelle, I think so much more could have added.
Big Bad Professor is a story that serves up heartache, steamy sex, and hope. It’s not your conventional sexy professor meets younger female student, but has an intriguing storyline built around a broken man riddled with guilt from past tragedy and a failed marriage. Enter Audrey Ross, a student who has worked tirelessly in her English literature class only to find that she’s been handed an F for her midterm exam. As the entire class learns they’ve been given failing grades, as well, they take to social media to blast professor Hollander. Meanwhile, Audrey’s best friend’s boyfriend comments that Audrey should offer her V-card to the teacher to turn the grades around. Things get out of control with all the comments, and Audrey is left embarrassed and humiliated.
Chase Hollander is fighting his demons with alcohol and cigarettes. When he learns about the social media mess his students have created, he’s concerned about Audrey being affected by the hurtful comments. Audrey’s attracted to Chase and she wants everything he can teach her. I just loved how Chase and Audrey’s story unfolds. Audrey is sweet and caring. Is it enough to keep Chase from destroying himself? Audrey knows all too well about losing a father to alcohol and she’s determined to show him there’s a future together.
Big Bad Professor is a story of heartache, hope and redemption. Ms. Siren’s writing is fluid and the story was an enjoyable read.
I received an ARC copy of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.
Audrey Ross sat on her bed, nervously chewing a fingernail and refreshing her computer screen. She was waiting for the mid-term grades to be updated.
Professor Hollander had been trying to kill himself slowly with cigarettes and booze. His daughter had been killed by a drunk driver, and his wife got tired of his attitude and left him. Since then, he had been sliding downhill. The midterm grades were to be posted by 5:00, but he had been drinking heavily and fell asleep. When the head of his department called to find out why the grades were not posted, he decided to give everyone an ‘F’. The kids didn’t care so why should he?
Audrey was devastated. When Chase’s fellow teacher called him up to see the chaos on social media, he felt bad for Audrey. For some reason, figuring he was getting fired anyway, he wrote a message asking if she was okay. She blasted him for what he did, and he asked if the social media gossip about her virginity was true? She said yes – and then asked him if he could fix that! Would this be the start of a healing process? Or would it end in disaster for everyone?
This was a very interesting storyline. It was totally not what I was expecting. I recommend this book for an unusual reading experience. I was given a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it. My comments reflect my honest opinion.
Audrey is a hard working student, she always has to try her best to get a good passing grade, but when her jerk of a Professor gives her an F for his class it just doesn't make any sense, until everyone realizes that they all got an F in his class. Chase Hollander is a man who just doesn't care about life any longer, his daughter was killed in a car accident and his wife left him. His life is looking pretty down until he see's comments on the collage page about Audrey being a virgin and offers to teach her.
What I enjoyed most about Big Bad Professor is watching two lonely souls kinda just end up together just for each other's benefit but then feelings grow pretty quickly. Watching Audrey want him but not wanting to ruin his career as it's all he has left and Chase finally finding something, someone who makes him smile again.
This book was a great, short, entertaining read! This story has a Woman who is 22 and still a virgin, word gets out and she is totally embarrassed and wants to get the deed done ASAP, Professor Chase is a jerk and everyone knows it but he is willing to help Audrey out and teach her everything, they are both surprised when she shows up for her lesson, a story of love and saving each other. If you like stories like this, then Big Bad Professor is a must!!
This book was a pleasant surprise for me with the depth the author gave to her characters and the plot. When I received this book I thought that it was just going to be another hot taboo book about a professor and a student. This was that book but so much more. The character of Aubrey is funny, strong willed, compassionate, and also timid. She has had bad luck with men (boys) in the past and is afraid of failure. She has a best friend that is the opposite of her and complements her personality. Chase on the other hand is bitter, hard, self-distractive and on thin ice with his job. He is dealing with a few heavy personally issues that revolve around his daughter and ex-wife. He is broken and ready to destroy everything in his life because of his pain. The way the author writes makes this book both full and deep but with a great lightness that adds to the pleasure of the outcome. The characters, their interactions with each other and their growth process are a pleasure to read and experience. This book was full of emotions and at the same time fun hotness. This was my first read by this author and I will read more in the future. The book was written in dual narration with 24 chapters and an epilogue. I received an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.
A quickie read with plenty of heat to warm up the cold nights…
Audrey Ross works hard to get good grades, and can’t believe it when her English Lit professor gives her an F on her midterm. When she is called out as a virgin in the subsequent social media rant across campus, her world tilts on it’s axis. Even more so when she gets a PM offering to help her with her pesky problem…from none other than her English Lit professor, Chase Hollander…
Chase Hollander has nothing left to lose. Angry at the world, and drunk off his a$$, he decides to give his entire class an F on their midterm grades. Before he knows it, all hell breaks loose on social media, and one of his students is outed as a virgin in the feed. One fateful, and poorly thought out, PM later…Audrey Ross is considering his offer to help…
Big Bad Professor is a fun read for anyone that enjoys a little taboo. This student/teacher romance is fun, playful, and touches on real life issues like social media, alcoholism, and suicide. Even with the short length, the characters still had depth and history, and the story had content other than just the steamy scenes we all know and love.
