The title is a little heavy handed as it comes across as how to guide to gaining Stalin like power but really it’s just a self help on how to lead and build your own power in whatever task your trying to achieve. It’s basically just self help that looks at ethical ways of gaining and maintaining influence with the people you surround yourself with to achieve your goals. It’s not bad and it’s pretty concise with some good nuggets of wisdom but overall it’s basic and not not always astute with the examples given. Still worth the read before undertaking a bug task that involves people and teamwork.
