Happy Yule from Haven Harbor! Welcome to the witchiest town in the world––Haven Harbor, Massachusetts! It’s the merriest of holidays! In Haven Harbor, Yule and Christmas celebrations bring out the mischief and mistletoe fun in everyone. Caught under the kissing bough for the big holiday event, Annie Boylston and Reyn Shapleigh are elected the King and Queen of the Yule Ball. That means they have to spend the week in revelry and celebration––and join together to protect the town from harm. Unfortunately, someone isn’t in the holidays spirit. An arsonist is trying to disrupt the joyful season, bringing fire and destruction to Haven Harbor. As the fire chief, Reyn is on the front line, using every bit of his training and magick to find the firebug. Annie’s cooking store is one of the arsonist’s targets, as are other thriving businesses in town. As the fire of attraction grows between Reyn and Annie, the arsonist gets bolder. In a race to stop the fires, Reyn and Annie find one another in this hot mistletoe tale!
It’s wonderful for a writer to live near Washington, DC as I do. The research resources are fabulous, the scenery is great – complete with monuments, gorgeous public buildings, and the most amazing, weird, convoluted, political people – and I get to be here with the most awesome family, friends and neighbors in the world. I live here with my wonderful husband (he’s my personal hero), my two delightful, growing-too-fast sons, and my three silly rescue dogs.
As former marketing executive, I worked for research parks, governmental concerns and not-for-profits, (which is also great fodder for the writer’s mind!) but now I’m happily employed as a consultant and full-time writer. I’m a member of Romance Writers of America, Science Fiction Writers of America, Mystery Writers of America, and Thriller Writers. I’m also a proud member of the Washington Romance Writers, an RWA chapter, as well as several online RWA chapters. I'm a former board member of the Romance Writers of America.
One of the most enjoyable things I get to do as a consultant and writer, is to teach. I enjoy connecting with my clients, readers and other writers. Having also worked in the funeral and cemetery business for nearly thirteen years, I teach a class on Body Disposal.
Being part of the Ad(d)ams Family, as you can imagine, Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love to work in the garden, run my dogs, hang out with my family, and write. Other than that, as another, more famous author says, the rest is subject to change without notice.
I loved a Yule to Remember and found it to be a great addition to the Haven Harbor family of books! Outside of the Witches Walk I thought a Yule to Remember had the most magic and witchy elements, which is a big drawl for me. The characters were delightful as ever. Annie and Reyne's first interaction hanging mistletoe was beyond cute. The element of hunting down an arsonist added the touch of mystery and suspense I've come to expect in a Jeanne Adams novel.
Haven Harbor 2.5. A town of mostly witches and magick with families dating back to the Salem, MA trial days. Can be read as a stand-alone romance although it’s more happy-for-now.
Annie runs a cooking store while Reyn is the fire chief. Caught under the kissing bough they are elected winter King and Queen. A job that has them working together to protect and reinforce the town wards while getting to know each other better. Reyn is uniquely suited to track down the arsonist that is threatening the town.
A Yule to Remember returns readers to Adams’ witchy town of Haven Harbor. This book centers on business owner Annie and fire chief Reyne. As the Yule festivities begin Annie and Reyn feel an attraction for each other that they have never felt before. While they are trying to see where it will lead the town falls victim to an arsonist. It is always fun to read about the witches of Haven Harbor and this book is no different. I think the romance between Annie and Reyn suffers a bit due to the short length of the book. I would love to read more about them. Fans of the series will definitely not want to miss this one!
I am enjoying this series. I want to live in Haven Harbor. The town is celebrating the Yule Ball. Annie who owns the cooking store is elected queen of the ball. Reyn, the fire chief, is elected the king. The town festivities bring the two together.
This is a quick read. I enjoyed the novella, but I wish it was a little longer. I wanted to spend more time with Annie and Reyn.
Loved returning to the town of Haven Harbor. The witchy nature of the town mixed with Christmas so well. We also have a little mystery entwined. Fun read from the Haven Harbor series!
This is a small town Christmas romance with a twist. The town is full of magick and traditions to keep it safe. There is also an arsonist on the loose. In the midst of all this Reyn and Annie are drawn together. There is action and drama as well as a sweet romance. #CMCon26
Annie and Reyn are crowned king and queen and falling in love under the mistletoe. However, there is an arsonist trying to burn down the town. With skill, luck and some magic, there is a hea.
A novella - read as part of the Under the Kissing Bough collection.
This story is ok, although I was a bit lost, not having read other books in the series. It is a mix of witchcraft and Christmas, making it interesting and unique. The characters were likable, and the story was interesting.
A really fun community with nice witches -- think the witches in the Halloween Town movies or the now cancelled soap opera Passions. The story is based on an interesting premise of the entire town needing to work together.
