I liked this story but I will admit that I wasn’t gripped. I liked Waverly and Ryan but Waverly annoyed me when she couldn’t see her inner beauty. I understood her insecurities but Ryan and his brothers told her over and over again that she was the one for Ryan. I liked Ryan and I saw that he wanted Waverly but at times he came across like he could live without her despite her being his mate. I was expecting the ‘’ I cannot be away from you’’ type of connection but it was more of a ‘’ok see you in three days’’ type of connection.
Will I read the next book in this series? Yes I will.
I really liked Ryan’s brothers and I want to know more about them.
Waverly has always dreamt of finding the man for her, settling down and having babies. But as a ‘’big girl’’ no man ever wants her. She frequently gets asked if she is a bear shifter, which she is not. When Waverly’s best friend signs her up for speed dating she goes through the usual comments from men. That is until she meets Ryan – an actual bear shifter. When Ryan and Waverly get matched Waverly is still weary on his intentions.
Ryan knows that Waverly is his mate but due to her insecurities, he has a hard time making her see that she is perfect for her and that she is beautiful.
