A Bad Boy Secret Baby Romance

I kept the baby a secret...
The last thing I need is a gorgeous Aussie Adonis with a filthy mouth who can’t stop talking about his... package.

Too bad I'm not interested in taking a delivery.

Liam, my new housemate from Australia is larger than life in every way, and he likes to make sure I know it.

If he can’t stop talking about it, I can’t stop thinking about it. But I’m not interested. I can’t be interested.

Well, when one touch brings me to my knees, it makes things a little complicated.

You know what's even more complicated?

The baby I haven't told him about.

His baby.

*

When I first laid eyes on Riss, I knew I wanted her. Her sea-green eyes pulled me in, her sexy curves drove me wild, and her soft lips set me on fire.

I claimed her, and her body quaked against mine. We christened every piece of furniture in the house, then I did it again just to make sure.

But she kept something from me. She kept our baby a secret.

I never knew I wanted a family until I learned the truth.

Now, I'm going to make her mine again. Now, we're going to be a family.

Unraveled is a full-length stand-alone romance with a guaranteed HEA. For a limited time, a second complete full-length romance novel is included.

This is a REALLY REALLY REALLY amazing book!

First of all, 5-alarm. I mean, holy smokes. But what I loved most about the relationship between this hero and heroine, was the love. For me, the hardcore love that they felt for each other made this whole book so spectacular.

Liam was confident and playful, and his expressions of his intense feelings to Larissa were just so endearing.

Larissa grew a lot throughout the book and really found her voice when push came to shove. I liked her slight insecurity and thought it made her more relatable.

I just loved everything about this. Emilia obviously did a lot of research on certain topics relevant to her characters, and I actually learned a thing or two from the tangents the characters went off on :)

This is my first Emilia-book, and I am absolutely a forever-fan. The story flowed seamlessly, and this was one of those stay-up-too-late-put-off-doing-the-laundry books for me. Can't wait for the next book!!!

Seriously . . . first read from Kincade

I was intrigued. Then I wasn't. Things drew out long and drawn all the way out . Larissa was smart but stupid at the same time. Liam was cocky, sexy, hot, aussie. Then things were thrown in here and there that just sent me over the top. This was a good read but things did not quite make me feel is all. Neither Liam or Larissa earned any love you points from me. I felt the story was too long to get to the point that it was over. Things wrapped up to n ice and tidy and too quick to the point once the ending was in sight. I was just looking for so much more than I got.

Well it's about an Australian sexy exchange student, Liam driver, who was to stay at his cousin's, Larissa’s home for a year. Who would know, that his arrival would be turning her life upside down and her future.
Although, I can say that I enjoyed reading the book, it was lacking in some forms. I felt that the author rushed the relationship, especially beacause it was attraction at first sight. I needed more detail or how do I say, I wanted to feel that spark, that feeling of ok it's getting good and can't wait for them to hook up. Just to say her parents were just weird for me, especially because hello, yes you may approve of relationship, even if Liam is the cousin although no blood relation at all, being he was adopted but to allow them to have sex everywhere in their home and not say anything, was gross. Ok, back to the main point, as I was saying, at first I didn't like Liam because of the arrogance he had portrayed in the first chapter, and can't really say I do like him. But there were some moments were I was like ok, he is not that bad, a little to childish for me especially when he threw his tantrums and did act like a teenager. Larissa's character was not that bad, I did love the scenes that took place anytime there was a fight and how although scared at times she seemed braver then Liam. A stronger heroine is way better then one who needs to rescued as the damsel in distress. She had more balls then he did especially, when she found out he knocked her up. Yes, she was scared to tell him, but who wouldn't be when he was only in the states for a year on an exchange program and after was to return to his home. An when everything was happening with Liam, I was thinking if he cared so much about her why not face what was going on together, dealing with everything himself when he knew he was not that great when it came to thinking/ stressful situations. He was suppposed to be this stronger, underground fighter and great wrestler but he acted so dumb at times, where I was like heestill needs to grow up more.
So, I can say I recommend the book, if you like face paced romances, with the heroine being stronger then the male character. Also many sex scenes so can't say it was bad at all, but the sex was far to many and just not enough storylines and details about what is happening around them, especially based on the fact that they were in college, and she was supposed to be living in the dorms and he, paying more attention to his wrestling especially with only a year in the states and that he had to keep his grades up. Like I said everything was to quick for my taste but not bad at all.

So dumb. This book was so preachy and boring. I DNF about 75% because it was just annoying. The major drama is not plausible. Like, he wasn't sure if blackmail was a crime in the US? And also, the dude stole your mail, that's a federal crime and it's also a crime to steal health records. They preach about being so smart and lecture the readers about dumb shit and then can't figure out the guy can't really do much?

And she didn't tell him about the baby for like 2 weeks, big whoop. And it's just creepy and disrespectful to constantly be having relations all over her parents' house, even while they're home.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this book! the storyline hooked me from the first page...
Liam is Australian and is in Chicago for a year on a scholarship/visa for wrestling. he is foul mouthed and takes to Larissa from the moment he sets eyes on her
Larissa is a quiet girl who prefers the library to any frat party ~ she is shocked and turned on when she sees Liam for the first time in her garage working out. turns out his mom and Larissa's mom are cousins and he's staying with Larissa's family while he's in Chicago ~ he's extremely happy to tell her what he wants to do to her and how they're not actually blood related as he's adopted
what I really enjoyed is how intense Liam's feelings are for Larissa. the love they have for one another goes beyond anything Liam has ever experienced.
Liam is very playful and you just root for him from the beginning. Larissa evolved in the book and that was great to see ~ it was great when she stopped and realized what she had done and needed to do to fight and Liam also realized what needed to be done, he couldn't just run anymore when things got tough
this is a definite keeper for me

So, I was attracted to this book because of the blurb. It sounded intriguing. Here's part of it:

But I never knew that I wanted a family, too. Not until I found out the truth. Not until I found out the secret she was keeping. I claimed her, made her mine. We christened every room, every piece of furniture. So why would she keep it a secret? Why didn’t she tell me about the baby?

Sounds good, right? I admit, it was sexy and had some intriguing, steamy scenes. At what I thought was half way through, I was disappointed when the blurb fell flat. Yeah, she didn't tell him and he found out by his blackmailer, but I was expecting more from that. Maybe a fall out instead of a drunken fight. After they got it all sorted out, the story took on more of a narrative than a story. I think there could've been more but that's just me. Overall a decent story.

DNF @ 34%....just got really bored with the whole thing. She was fitting the attraction and what she wanted to hard at first and then gave in sooooo quickly. Their interactions fell flat. Im all about some sexy scenes but hooking up around the house and waiting for her parents in the car was just completely unrealistic and weird. The wrestling stuff got to me too (we love collegiate wrestling in my household) so pretty much every reference to that was wrong. There were so many minor things that could have been changed to make this story way more realistic. Also - the preachiness was obnoxious. I completely skimmed over the reasons why she wanted to be a teacher bc I was just being preached at. I tried it, but wont be reading anything else from this author.

I would have to give this book a 3.5 out of 5 stars because of a couple of things. First, Liam the male main character and Larissa (Riss) the female main character are supposedly related (cousins) but he is adopted, so I guess it's okay for them to be together? Second, they hardly know each other since he lived in Australia and they are fooling around. Overall to me what makes the book better is that Liam is truly in love with Larissa just as she is in love with him. If you are into books with underground fighting, true love and cocky male main characters than this book is for you.

Enjoyable book

I enjoyed this book. It is a fairly quick read in my opinion. Some parts of it seem a little unrealistic i.e a virgin with no experience just naturally knowing what to do as far as foreplay. But otherwise I did find the story fun to read and very steamy.

Just wasn't really feeling this book. I don't know why but I had a hard time connecting with these characters or even really liking them. It felt like the author skimmed the surface and we were left without any real depth to them.

Enjoyable

I enjoyed to storyline and the twists. Riss is a tough, smart lead. She comes into herself and does what’s best. Liam is a family protector. It translates well into underground MMA. They are perfect together.

An Australian sexy exchange student was to stay at Larissa’s home turning upside down her life and her future. The story was interesting, entertaining with strong emotions and two young main characters with a strong attraction looking toward their future together. First impressions sometimes deceive and that was what happened to me with this story. At first I thought it was a story about the drama behind two young adults attracted to each one with a HEA. But there was much more than that. Liked how the author developed the action. There was no rush. The story was escalating with a good dose of action, intrigue, suspense, steamy sex scenes and violent fights that I followed with interest. Also, there were good and supportive secondary characters that contributed to the story. Larissa Silverstone was a strong and smart young woman who had worked hard to conquer her fears. Impressive how she faces the difficult and dangerous situations armed only with her cleverness. Liam Driver, been on his own almost all his life, was working toward his goals even if life had not been easy with him. Larissa wanted him and he wanted her and he felt she was like an anchor, giving him support and strong and good emotions he thought lost. Reviewed the story to share my opinion because I like the stories that make me think and feel good emotions and this one satisfied me very much.

Not worth the read

Book is boring, took a long time to read, story line is really bad and only reason i did finish it is because I cannot start a book and not finish it.

I enjoyed this book. Although the couple was young their communication wasn't bad. The characters were well developed and they received positive support from their families and friends. This couple really rocks together.

Hot!

Hot Aussie Liam is someone I wouldn't be able to resist. The eyes, the hair, the way he satisfies Larissa first, then again, or the Australian accent (weakness of mine).

Steamy, but just ok. Good for the style of novel it is. Lacks character situation before they just fall into the physical. But decent story line and interesting twists.
