Armed with memories of her past life and the identity of her true soul mate, Hope is bound and determined to fulfill her destiny and heal the veil...on her own terms, that is. Unfortunately, Hope's inability to play by the rules causes a rift in the group and discord with Tie. Dark forces are at work fighting to tear them apart, while Victor, Ms. Mori, and Dr. Fairmont attempt to understand Tie's role in saving the world.
Hope's inability to sense the veil, Angie's visions of loved one's deaths, Kirby's vulnerability, and an unwanted bond with a dangerous kami are certain to prevent her from ending the conflict once and for all. The group needs answers found in an ancient prophecy and written in a language few understand.
I am always looking for reviewers to read and review my books. If you see a book that interests you please email me at authorandbookspotlights@gmail.com to request a review copy of that book.
I began writing short stories for family and friends when I was thirteen years old. My vivid imagination and love of mysteries and romances eventually led me to following my own dreams of becoming a published author. I also do some book review work on the side for SDE Magazine.
I'm a huge fan of The Mindy Project, Hugh Jackman, and binge eating any and all things chocolate. Who isn't, am I right?
As a mother of four awesome kids I'm usually playing beauty salon with my daughters (my four-year-old shaved my arm one time while I was helping another daughter with her homework. Yep. That happened) getting my fanny kicked in Mario Kart by my snarky little son, and making out with my deliciously handsome looking Latin lover, aka, my hubby.
Disclaimer: I was sent a copy of this book by the author, C.J. Anaya, for an honest review
Opinion:
It has finally come: the end of the road. The last crumb of the pie. The last of the Mohicans.
(This has nothing to do with the Mohicans).
After a long and emotional tug of war between soulmates, centuries, Gods, demons and amnesia; the Prophecy Series has come to an end.
But to be honest, I am left feeling pretty disappointed by this installment.
With every bit of knowledge from her past life, and the dangers in her present, Hope has finally reunited with her soulmate and begun the task of healing the veil. But nothing ever comes easy for Hope. With the Black Blossom binding her to the demon God Amatsu, she struggles to fight against her forced feelings for the God of the underworld and her true feelings for the God of Marriage, Tie. But with the bond between Hope and Amatsu only growing stronger, Hope and her friends rush to find the prophecy in hopes of learning the true translation. Only with the prophecy will Hope and Tie have a chance at healing the veil and saving the world, which means they must travel back to where it all started. In Kagami.
Let me begin by saying how much I enjoyed reading this series. The entire storyline is creative, well developed, and extremely addicting. The separation between past and present lives is so eloquently laid out, and the movement of the story between 1000 A.D. to the present gives this series an extra layer of WOW. I truly commend this author for creating such an exciting and detailed world for us readers. Even though Kagami was a dangerous place for Hope, I couldn’t help but want to be there with Musubi and Victor. This series gave a mix of history into this well created fantasy story, while also showcasing some brilliant girl power and complete badassery by our female characters. My weakness is a strong and capable woman who can do anything, so thank you to the author for…mostly doing that.
I do however, have a few qualms with the last installment of this story. First is with Mikomi/Hope when it comes to her being this strong and fierce female character. In her first life she was Mikomi, and she was a princess of the Kagami empire in 1000 A.D. who was the prophesized Healer meant to heal the veil. This character was beaten by her father, forced to be meek and obedient due to her culture, and given nothing in terms of choices for her future. But was this girl weak, HELL NO. She had strong morals and a wicked sense of what she wanted for herself. She did what she wanted, regardless of the consequences or what path was set out for her. So why, pray tell, does she become such a doe-eyed, man-needing, pre-teen as Hope? It broke my heart a little to see her become this childish version of herself that NEEDED Tie so badly that she became less independent, and more DEPENDENT. Tie’s wishy-washy behavior of “I’ll fight for you” and “I’ll let you go” was nauseating. If he goes, LET HIM GO. BYE!! Heal that damn veil on your own girl, you got this! I know it was love that conquers all, and that was one of the message from this story, but the Tie meltdowns were making me wish Hope would just finish it. THANKFULLY, Angie was my saving grace for a female who doesn’t need a man to do anything.
The only other issue I have with The Prophecy is the reason that it took me so long to get through the last book of The Healer series. I had a hard time with the characters transitioning from their lives in 1000 A.D., to their lives in present times. It wasn’t exactly the flashbacks from then and now, because those were constructed perfectly. It seemed as if the characters went from being these strong and mature people, to immature adolescents. In Hope and Angie’s case, I could understand them acting a bit younger due to them ACTUALLY being teenagers. They had only just remembered their previous lives, so naturally the culture now will have made them a bit more…innocent and childish? Sure, I can get on board with that. Makes sense. But WHY are Victor and Tie acting this way? THESE GUYS ARE GODS WHO HAVE LIVED FOR CENTURIES. They literally went from being MEN to BOYS. Why is Bishu the only character that has kept his eloquent form of speaking, and why is he the only one that still holds himself like he’s had years upon years of walking this earth? This made it incredibly hard for me to read this last book in the series. It made these characters feel so transparent and ridiculous, which is the exact opposite of the people I knew them to be. Needless to say, I am more than a little bummed out about how they turned out.
But with my complaining of characters aside, a review of this story as a whole is what I am really trying to get to. Hope finds herself bound to the demon God Amatsu, with his darkness only growing stronger inside of her. The true question of this book is this: Can Hope overcome this binding and fight for what she really wants? Because that is the REAL question in this entire series isn’t it?! Mikomi and Hope have been suppressed and forced to do so many things through their lives, except choose their own fate. So gold star for that! The real PEARL of this story is Amatsu though. Move over Musubi, Amatsu is my new male love for The Healer series. What can I say? I love a bad boy! I love a hated character, especially one engulfed in darkness and bad decisions! SWOON! Thankfully my boy finds himself a happy ending, though it was a bit unexpected.
Lastly, I would like to comment on the battles and the imagination behind the place that Kagami had turned into. These battles are EPIC and there are a TON of them. Someone is constantly trying to kill Hope and her friends, and I have to be honest, I was feeling it. Demon cat-like creatures coming from the underworld trying to maul them? Um hello, sign me up! We even get to meet Bishu, a demon who was a God once upon a time who lives as a hell cat, but has a heart of gold! Aw. The world of Kagami is where this story really excels though. The trek to Hope’s former home is a dangerous one, and the forest they travel through is crawling with all sorts of dangers. Every aspect of this land can kill you, and everything is alive. This makes for an AMAZING and EXCITING adventure.
All in all, I did really enjoy this series. I was pretty disappointed with this book in regards to the characters, but the story makes up for it. I read a few other reviews from other readers who DO NOT share my opinions on the characters, so keep that in mind. These are just my feelings and observations. This is still an amazing and creative series, and I think it is well-worth any readers time.
I can assure you, The Prophecy does not disappoint. It’s wonderful in so many ways, making a coherent review difficult. All the things that occur, all the twists and turns – just wow. I’ve had so many feels about this series, and the final book simply works to bring them all back to the forefront of my mind.
Before I go into too much detail about this particular book, I wish to do a quick recap of the series. I do this because I want – no, need – you to understand the complex emotions it has brought about. This could be rather lengthy, and for that I apologise – but you cannot understand my emotional reaction to this book without understand my emotional reaction to the series as a whole.
I came across C.J. Anaya through a Goodreads giveaway for the first three books in this series. Unfortunately, I did not win the books, but I did sign up for her newsletter. Through doing so, I received the first book and a short story. I had intended to read it for quite some time – but my to-read list is ridiculously long. Despite having not read any of her work, though, I signed up to join her advance read team when I saw she was looking for people to join. This meant I got to read her Marry Your Billionaire at the start of the year – and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I knew right then that I would be reading more of her work. Still, I didn’t pick up this series right away. It had nothing to do with a lack of interest, rather I had so many advance reads to get through and there were so many new books I’d been waiting on, it just sort of fell to the bottom of my list. A bit later in the year, I noticed that C.J. Anaya was looking for people to review the series for her. Thus, I contacted her. I explained that I had the first book and would love to read the rest of the series. She was lovely enough to send me books two and three.
Then came the dreaded exam period that puts a dampener on bibliophiles. Despite wanting to read a book a day, such a thing isn’t really advised. Thus, it was put aside for a while. Finally, however, I got to work on the series. After finishing book one I knew I wanted more. However, what I did not expect was for me to find myself so crazy addicted to the second book. As soon as I was done reading it, I knew I needed to start book three. I did my usual trick when addicted to the series – I read it in one sitting. The ending left me on edge, counting down the days until I could get my hands on the conclusion. It has felt like years, waiting to know what happens next, when in reality it has been mere months. I’m lucky, compared to some fans, as I know others were waiting much longer than I have been.
Fear not, for the wait is over and it is more than worth it. All the emotions of the first three books are brought together in this one, leaving you more than happy to call the series a massive success.
The first book was a fun read, although I wasn’t crazy addicted to it. I enjoyed it a lot, as it pulled me into the series, and it more than left me wanting more. It wasn’t until the second book that I reached crazy fangirl level. It was at this point that I started recommending the series to everyone I could. If I knew someone to be interested in Japan, I would suggest the books to them; if I knew someone was interested in mythology, I would suggest the books to them; if I knew someone was interested in young adult romance or fantasy, I would suggest the books to them. Basically, any reason to suggest the books to a person and I was doing so. Throughout I’ve said this series needs more attention, and I stand by that statement. I would love to see this series become one that everyone is talking about, as it’s so worthy of the attention that many other books in this genre are given. In fact, I enjoyed this series more than I’ve enjoyed some of the series that have a lot of hype surrounding them.
Even though I adored both book three and now book four, I still believe book two is my favourite. All four books are amazing – but number two blew my mind in so many ways. Whilst book four has gone on to blow my mind, the mind blowing happened for completely different reasons in this book.
The third book ended on a big ‘what happens next’ moment, and book four picks up straight away. Events have been building throughout the prior books, and this one throws us into the action from the very start. I admit that it took me a couple of chapters to get back into the story – but that’s mostly because it’s been so long since I read the third book. Once my mind clicked back into the story, I was pulled in and refused to put the book down. I constantly wanted more; I was absorbing it better than the promises made by all those kitchen towel adverts.
There is so much action, with everything being brought together. In fact, there were new aspects brought to light that weren’t brought to a complete conclusion and it’s left me wanting a spinoff series. That is not to say we’re left unaware of things – everything related to the main story plays out. But side characters, those we have come to love throughout, had storylines I want to see more of. I’m not going to say who or what, but I know a lot of fans will be wanting a spinoff series to see how something plays out for a fan favourite.
I will say, however, that I was surprised by how little the prophecy played into this book. It was constantly being mentioned, it was always the end goal, and yet when they had the answers and things played out… well, it took up very little of the book. That is not to say I disliked the story – I enjoyed the way the story came about, the way we got to see so much, and I really enjoyed the actual prophecy and the events that unfolded – yet I felt as though it wasn’t given quite as much attention as I’d been expecting. By the time we get to know the truth of the prophecy, we’re so caught up in so many other events that the mind sort of goes ‘oh, so that is what it was all about’. I loved the prophecy, I loved the way everything came together – I’m simply surprised it was held off for so long. I appreciate the suspense, I get that there was to be a lot of mystery, and I understand it needed to be held off until near the end – I simply wanted more time focused upon it and the events that played out after. The post-prophecy revelation events merely felt too little compared to the action that occurred throughout the rest of the book. There were so many twists and turns throughout that I feel as though the actual prophecy wasn’t the biggest shock of the book.
Nevertheless, the ending was wonderful. Was it what I had been expecting? No. Was I happy with the way it ended? Yes. Did we get a happily ever after? I’m not going to give you spoilers. Just know that I was super happy with how things ended. Endings are always bittersweet, and this one was more sweet than bitter. But there’s plenty of bitter to be had, too. Seriously, be ready for emotional events. If you’re the emotional sort, have a tissue ready because the ending will play with your emotions big time.
Okay, I realise this is becoming a rambling mess of feelings. In short, this is a magnificent ending to the series. You will not be disappointed. C.J. Anaya has written a wonderful ending to a beautiful series, and I recommend you get to reading this series right now.
As a final note, I would like to send the biggest thanks possible to C.J. Anaya for allowing me to advance read The Prophecy. Such made me a very happy fan, and I cannot wait to see what comes next!
This is the fourth book in the Healer Series. You really, really need to read these books in order as they all build upon each other. This is the perfect time to get started on this series because the box set containing the first three books is free right now on Amazon. Yay!!
This series is a mash up of so many different things- Asian mythology with Gods and Goddesses, supernatural creatures, fantasy elements, and romance. It has great forward momentum and it's hard to put down.
In this fourth book it was nice to have everyone together again, in the same realm, fighting together to save the day. It's the culmination of the previous books, setting the stage for the final show down. And what a show down it was! All the pieces started falling into place and everyone had to sacrifice to get to the end.
I've really enjoyed this series. I read through the first three quickly and then had to wait a whole two months for this last book. Waiting = Torture. :) This book was worth the wait to finally have some closure. There are still some loose ends here- especially regarding Angie- that I'm hoping will spark a new series maybe? Or at least another book focusing on Angie and her new love triangle. Here's to hoping!!
Content: Mild swearing, intense kissing, some violence
- I was given a copy of this book for free. A positive review was not required and all opinions expressed are my own.
Oh wow this book is amazing to say the lease! Hope and Tie's ending was a rollercoaster of drama, deceit, eternal love, and badass action and adventure. I loved the Prophecy so much! The love triangle betWeen Angie, Victor and Bishu was hilarious and her herself was my ideal characters to have in every story. Your books reminds me of the Coexist series by Julia Crane, and the immortal instruments series by Cassandra Clare ( very good books btw)! C.J. Anaya: why and how do you do this?! This is so too good for me! Cannot wait for Angie's story to unfold in the next set of awesome books! Seriously, you know how to make a person book- crazy, and not the healthy kind!( but oh so blissful!!)
I love this book and have had a busy week since finishing it. I could have done a quick single finger typing review on my phone and goodreads app but I really wanted to type it at my computer so I could really just type fast whatever thoughts popped up in my mind. I didn't think it would be this long before I could get to my computer but here I am a week later finally being able to sit and let my thoughts loose. I've thought about what I want to say about this final book in the series without revealing any spoilers and hope I can do it justice. This is definitely one you should read in order, otherwise there is so much that you won't understand and that you will miss out on.
Choice and Destiny is a great way to sum up many of the ideas in this book. There is a prophecy that we learn about in book one and from that prophecy we know that it is said that Hope is going to heal the veil once she ascends and joins with her soul mate. Hope's heart throughout the series is struggling to come to terms with the prophecy and with the expectations of many around her(not all, but many). In this one, The Prophecy, we have our group of heroes trying to reach the original Prophecy and those who can translate it for them. They need to know exactly what is written and how they can go about making sure it is fulfilled, or how they can heal the veil.
I want to tell you about the Prologue of this book and how something that happened at the end of the previous book has completely changed everything again. I want to tell you why the prologue and the characters in it are so key to the whole of the prophecy. I want to tell you about the many battles fought, some overcome with good and some lost that leads our group into further peril. The grip that Amatsu has on the veil and it's weakening is growing stronger and stronger and several choices of Hope's will determine if that veil can ever be fixed. Or if Amatsu and evil will conquer Earth and reign forever.
I really love this series and tell everyone I can about it. If you love YA, fantasy and an awesome clean romance(there's even some budding romance between secondary characters that was great), humor, suspense and really great writing, I highly recommend this series for you.
The humor in this book is fantastic. I found myself so many times(probably close to most of the book) grinning and laughing out loud, or chuckling quietly to myself. My husband would look over at me and laugh at me laughing so much. I tried to explain some of it but I think since he didn't know the characters it was a little lost on him. Angie is one of my favorites, ok maybe I shouldn't say she is one of my favorites because honestly I really like all of the characters. Yes I said ALL of the characters. How is that possible? Well you will have to read to find out. Many characters that I was not happy with from previous books had some great redeeming moments, or they just kept being their normal selves that I didn't necessarily like, but they ended up giving me reasons to like them(how's that for being vague and spoiler free?)
I want to see more of Angie, yes I know the series ended with this book but honestly I want more Angie and more of her life after everything finished. There's some good stuff going on there and we were left without some closure between her and a couple Kami (who shall remain nameless for this review). Angie is just a spitfire, an awesome best friend and exactly what Hope needed to help her through all the ups and downs and craziness that awaited her throughout this series. Love, love, love Angie.
This review wouldn't be complete without saying how much I love Hope and Tie. I feel if I say much else that I would start to reveal major aspects of this book and series so I will keep quiet and just keep saying that they are definitely one of my top favorite literary couples. There's a lot of heartache involved and misunderstandings and betrayals and healing and betrayals and heartache...you get the idea but I absolutely loved them. Read the series to understand why!
Content: There are some steamy kisses, nothing past that and I would say this is a clean read. If I remember right, the characters do mention sex but only in the sense that they are setting boundaries in their relationship and stating that they believe in waiting until marriage before adding that aspect to their relationship. That their love for each other isn't based on sex but so many other aspects. There are some swear words scattered throughout, mostly the *d* word. So a heads up if you don't like that, it's not said a lot throughout but pops up every once in a while. Overall I would rate this a clean read and would recommend for a little bit older YA readers and up. I can't say enough good things about this series and this author. Honestly she's amazing and is very gifted with her writing talent. If you haven't read any of her other books either, grab them and enjoy reading on a rainy or snowy day all snuggled up with them.
I received an ARC from the author, all thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.
( I received a digital copy of the book . Thanks to C. J. Anaya!!! )
This is one of the best books I've ever read. I loved the plot , the twists and the basic concept behind the book. The story developed so well. I loved the way I was throughout kept at the edge of my seat wondering what might happen. I was never let down till the end. This book was just as unpredictable as the first book had seemed predictable. There was a lot of fun filled witty dialogues and constant twists, the ever present thrill and suspense. The author talks about some really deep stuff and I like her take.
I very much hope that a lot of people read this book.
I finished the entire series in 1 week and that is something I've never done before. I was kind of like what should I do with the rest of my life now that I've finished this series... Good as hell and takes your attention and swallows you whole into the plot. Super captivating and just completely my jazz. The quotes and inspo and future and choices talk are incredibly deep and inspiring!!!!
I received a complimentary copy of the entire healer series for free to give a voluntary honest review. This is the review of the fourth book in the series and contains only my own thoughts and opinions of The Prophecy.
I don’t understand. What happened and how it could differ so so much? The second and third book of the Healer series, that takes place in feudal Japan, are absolutely beautifully perfect and intensely addictive. But as soon as the storyline takes us back to real time and the modern world the story just falls apart. Yeah, you can already tell where this review is going, considering that this entire book took place in the modern world.
I think the thing that disappointed me most was how good the first chapter was. I got exactly what I have obsessively waited for through the series as I’ve read. Tie and Hope (or Musubi and Mikomi as I prefer. They were more likable in historical Japan) could finally be together as they wanted and I got to see the romantic and also the flirting and teasing side of their relationship play out, as it had before as well ... until the next chapter, and the rest of the book. It was like the author just gave up on them and finished their protagonist roles in the series, but weirdly enough kept Hope as the narrator. Instead she started throwing in Angie of all people and her love problems and love triangle of cat and warrior in my face. In. Every. Single. Page. Excuse me, but I read this series for Mikomi and Musubi. I kept reading because I wanted to find out and follow them to their happy ending. Do not waste my time by just dropping them and making Angie (the most unlikable, trying-too-to-hard-to-be-funny, getting-in-peoples-businesses and interrupting-good-scenes,character) the protagonist out of nowhere. Every time Hope observed or spied on Angie’s love affairs (unrealistically all the time) this mantra of “I don’t care, I don’t care, I don’t care” was going on repeat in my head.
All I wanted was to read about the actual main couple and there were were so few moments of them together and when they were together it was rushed with no flirting or good dialogue. Basically, zero passion I could feel between them. The effort meant for their relationship was instead directed on Angie, Victor and Bishu. I swear there were more scenes about them than the actual main couple and that just made me so angry. This entire series until now had been about Hope and Tie so why would I suddenly give a damn about those three, one who was barely in the series before and the other not at all? I get that C.J. Anaya is using this book as an opportunity to introduce and lead her readers to the next book about Angie and It’s fine to hint at it, but this was not hinting. No, what happened was that the other three characters took over the story entirely and left the real relationship I was invested in behind in the dumpster.
There is a phrase, “too good to be true”, and in books that is “too good to be believable”. That is perfectly implied for this book. Everyone miraculously overcomes everything and conveniently get their perfect endings. Even the villain suddenly is the good guy and get his perfect ending. For spouting about to love is to sacrifice and having love and sacrifice as a main subject there is very little sacrifice actually happening, since the sacrifices that are made becomes unmade unrealistically and looses all its value. No one died in the past and no one dies now because they were given life back. The unloving mother is suddenly loving. The warrior who lost his soul mate is suddenly, without pain or complaints, okay with that and starts pining for annoying Angie and acting like Hope was never his love interest. Every past life is way to conveniently present in this life. It is literally too good to be true and therefore way way too unrealistic. The worst part is how rushed everything becomes just for the fact that the author strife too hard to make it unrealistically perfect for everyone involved. There is no feeling behind it, no real struggle or bad consequences they have to deal with even. Sacrifice is misused because no one sacrifices anything.
If the entire series were the second and third book only I would not hesitate to give the series five stars. But for the fact of the first and fourth book I can only place it at around three stars. I am however very grateful to CJ Anaya for the opportunity and I do not regret reading the series. It was an amazing experience and though things could be improved and worked on, I enjoyed the journey for the most part. Thank you CJ Anaya!
The Healer needs to repair the veil between the worlds of darkness and light but she has to be able to see it first. The Prophecy concerns her but the modern translation of it is incorrect. This last book of The Healer has Hope and her followers seeking the scroll that contains the true translation. A very surprising twist in the story will have you taking a 360 degree turn trying to figure out what will happen next. I appreciated all the background information Ms Anaya had to have studied in order to provide some authenticity to The Healer’s supporting group and the scenes she described. I loved her characters as they were described. They were very well fleshed out. Some had significant roles to play. In their search to find the scroll with the correct translation, they had to face many dangerous situations. At just the right times there would be some comic relief, and at other times there would be some sweet moments. This book was also terribly romantic. Lots of angst and slow burn with a certain couple, while another couple would be off and on in a blink. Many heart-wrenching experiences made me do some serious introspection. However, I loved the ending! A very satisfying HEA. This is a series I can definitely highly recommended.
Alright, I'm not too ashamed to admit it. I had tears in my eyes by the end of this book. This entire series was just a wonderful escape into a whole new reality of monsters and love lost and love found. While the ending was a bit predictable ( really, there are only so many ways this type of novel/series can end so it wasn't a surprise), it was still so fulfilling to see it take place. I read all 4 of the books in this series within 36 hours while I am currently at a zombie like status due to lack of sleep, it was so totally worth it.
I can not say enough good things about this series, and I really hope to see a continuation of this world that was created!
I absolutely loved this series, from the very first book to the last they captured my attention. There was so much drama and romance, the action and adventure had me exciting for reading every page. I didn’t want to stop reading for even a second. Definitely recommend this book to everyone, this is honestly the best author I have found on Amazon in a while.
My first thought...I want a book about Angie. Read all the way to the end end for the first time and BAM, there is a book about Angie!
I enjoyed this series, I enjoyed living in her past and watching it enfold on her future.
I wondered where Kenji went. Ha!
This was an emotional, exciting, action pack read. At one point I really thought it would be 'the dark side' for her, but of course sappy love conquers all. Lol.
For Hope ,Angie,Tie, and Victor the past and present join others to mend the Veil
Hope has found her soul mate and Angie has her choice of two Gods. Hope family from past joins the present to mend the Veil. They take on a strong demon legion led by the God of darkness and Hope becomes the only one who can save them all. But to due this they have to learn what the prophecy really says and only then will they know how to win. So they join together to find the prophecy.
I liked the middle two books better, but I think part of it is because I like reading about the different era, as opposed to modern day. This book was well written, and I felt pretty happy with the conclusion and closure offered. There were twists that kept it interesting right up to the end. A good read overall.
I just had to finish this series. I loved it. I laughed, cried, and sighed with the friends that I made in these books. And yes, they became my friends. I don't mean to sound all mushy, but when you read these books you become a part of them. I very highly recommend this series.
Wow this last book was truly magic! It continued the trials and tribulations of Hope, Tie and all their family and friends. Sorry will not spoil the story, lol. Awesome world building, well made characters, action, romance, passion, heartache, and otherworldly. Definitely a very good read.
Heartbreakingly beautiful and wonderful, so many twist and turns, so many things I was not expecting, but glad for the surprises in characters that I was not thinking it would happen. I love it and glad I bought the series. I loved the adventures, humor, love and lessons. I will definitely look into other books written by the author.
The Prophecy is the fourth and final book in The Healer series, bringing the story back to the present. It’s much less confusing than the first book since we now understand the full backstory, but the characters still behave a bit more “weirdly” compared to how natural they felt in the ancient, original storyline. Still, it’s a satisfying wrap-up to the series.
Absolutely one of the best series I have ever read. I have read many series and this one sucked me in from the start and made me fall in love with the characters. I loved the ending as well, my only regret? Not being real people. Awesome!!!
I loved this series!!! It was very detailed and well written. The healer was multi-dimensional and a great character to read. Tie was cute and lovable.
I need to know what happens to Angie and those 2 kami!
Awesome finale to the series. A few twists and turns along the way but I didn’t want to put this book down because I wanted to see what happened. Great book series.
Loved this series! A great run-up to so many threads, , I was amazed it all concluded! You really have to read the whole series to enjoy it. Great read!
this series was FANTASTIC it had it all I laughed I cried I railed at musubis stubbornness excellent work c.j. I loved these books kept me well entertained very heartwarming I couldn't put them down so if your looking for some good books to read choose this set their very reasonably priced.
The Prophecy By C.J Anaya is the fourth and final book in The Healer Series. With loose ends being tied up this book has it all; Adventure, Fantasy, Suspense,Love and Lust with a delicate balance of Good Vs. Evil.
Can all things good be Evil and is there a possibility that Evil can be good?
Hope's future depends on her capacity to tell the difference between what is evil and what is good- but what if her body and soul are conflicted- what can she trust? Who can she trust?
Tie battles with internal demons- he's on the fence- should he let Hope go when he feels he is losing her or will he hang on tight whether she likes it or not. He's undecided, but if he doesn't choose the Universe may choose for him.
