Its a nice book..
But I have to say I was really disappointed at this one..
I enjoyed the first 2 books in this series, specially book 2..
This one on the other hand, not so much ):
At some parts, I found it so boring, I couldnt wait to finish the book to be over with it..
I just hope book 4 will be better :D
I dont even know why Im not giving up on this series xD..

Why why why why why.... why is it that at the beginning of every book from this series The H is doing anal with a whore?!? Even it was before he met h I don't care!! It's descriptive and stars the book off with a sour taste!!
It's soooo frustrating because these book are really good beside that beginning parts! The H's are always OTT, Alpha and insta Love! And it's 100% safe besides that being part!
Is honestly ruins the book for me! Can't you just tell us he's a man whore instead to writing a very detailed anal sex part?!?!

"Bitter Truths" is the story of Ruby and Oliver.
When Ruby's family and only brother Lionel is killed, she's mistaken by his last words and thinks that they've been murdered by the Dantons.
She vows revenge and molds herself into a killer for ten years, only to attack Oliver, the middle, "wife fcking" brother and him to realize she's his soulmate.
This book also exposes the books namesake. We learn the truth about the Coltons, an update on Sarah and Langdon, and the sad conclusion of Betty and Damien's story.
The chemistry between the lead couple was average.

While not my fav I can say that I did enjoy Oliver's story. Def not thrilled with the opening scene (him screwing a married woman....) its become the norm for this series - I want to say that all except the first one have opened with a similar scene. What made the book for me though was Ruby.
She wasn't the typical Sam heroine. She was tough. She trained for 10 years to take her revenge on the Denton's. She also wasn't plus size. Her training made her small and fit. She gave Oliver a run for his money and didn't immediately fall in bed with him. Unfortunately she was a virgin :-(
This story progressed to overall story line and opened up not only a spin off series but also some future problems. The biggest future problem...Gabriel. I also see Maddox and Charlotte having problems due to Maddox's involvement with Gabriel - its a WTF thing....
Finally, its going to sound horrible but I'm sooooo glad that Betty is out of the picture. I hate that she did what she did and placed the blame on the Denton curse but I'm a jealous bitch and really dislike OW, or in this case a baby mama, to be between my H and h. I can honestly say that I believe she would have caused a shit load of problems when Damien found his woman.

First I love that Sam Crescent gave us Oliver's fear of bugs!!
Men alway act all macho but when theres a spider or roach involved they turn into sissy lalas lmao!!
The proposal scene was hilarious... I loved it!!

Although ‘’bitter truths’’ is book three in the ‘’Denton family legacy’’ series it is the first book of this series that I have read. I REALLY enjoyed this book! I absolutely adored Ruby! I truly felt for her, all she wanted was revenge for her brother. When she finally though she had made progress on getting that revenge ten years later, she finds out that she was hunting the wrong people! I love everything about this book; I love the storyline, every single character, the mystery and the insta love. I wasn’t sure if I would like Oliver at the beginning but I soon developed a soft spot for him. Although is a killer and rough, he was gentle and patient with Ruby, he worshipped her. I was in stitches at Oliver’s reaction to the cockroaches! Over all, bitter truths has fast become one of my all time favourite books by Sam. I was gripped instantly and devoured this book, I can’t wait to go back and read the first two books and hopefully await another book in this series in the future.

Oh, ma lord what is this thing I’m feeling because I don’t want to put this book down, is it the Denton’s legacy?? Probably.…
I want to continue with Ruby and Oliver forever because they are just the perfect amount of reckless, funny and romantic I’ve ever wanted to read about.
The first book for me was the best but Bitter Truths just stole the number one spot on the podium. This story has the balanced mix of betrayals, deaths, action scenes and a lot of love. All of this with Sam Crescent’s writing which I think is much improved in this book, which convinces me to give these 5 stars to be honest.
So now we are dealing with one brother that likes to play around with married woman when he wants to kill their husbands… Oliver is the guy Maddox sends when he wants someone tortured or taking cared of. So, he’s reckless and hard and he’s not ready to take anyone’s bullshit…. Is he?
He’d never known anything like it before in his life. Being a Denton, he was used to competing, fighting, and of course working. There was the love of a family, but nothing compared to this. Staring into her green eyes, he knew he’d finally found home.
Ruby lost her brother a long time a go and now she’s ready to take revenge on the family that had him killed, or so she thinks. And that family are the Denton’s… Surprise, surprise. She has been training her whole life to get her revenge, had people beat her up on propose so she would get used to it and didn’t really enjoyed her life because of it.
Denton. That was the name she would remember. She was going to avenge her brother’s death. Every last Denton was going to regret taking from her.
So this couple meets just when she goes for chance to kill Oliver and let me tell you that she landed a kick or two. She’s badass. After that and when she learns that the Denton’s aren’t guilty she and Oliver finally get a chance as a couple. And that’s when you see them both letting their guard down and start getting along.
Ruby is a loner and so is Oliver, as in, they prefer to be alone in their own space than with a lot of people surrounding them. So, they are quite good for one another. I honestly really did like them. Thought that they were very well written, you could understand every motive they had to do what they did during the book. And their overall personalities are really entertaining. Sam Crescent did a great job with these two.
In this story we get Damien’s POV and he’s the brother that got a girl pregnant, but she wasn’t really the “one”. OUCH. And this book is not going to go easy on him. He has his baby now but Betty the baby-mother loves him. And he does love her back, but if the right woman ever appears to him he’s going to leave Betty, which is super sad, and the ending is super bad for him. I loved him, and I do hope the next book is about him, so I can see him get better.
He watched as the two left the room, and Damian wished with all of his heart that Betty was the one. She wasn’t, and he hated that more than anything.
Also, we get a lot form the other couples, which is always great. And I do feel they are all improving as a character…
Great book without a doubt but I am anxious for the next one.

This is the third book in this amazing series and it continues to go from strength to strength. Oliver is our third brother in line of the Denton brothers and he is not one with much stock in their legacy of finding their soulmate that is solely intended to be only theirs he enjoys his pleasure of using other men’s wives and moving on to the next woman that is until his firecracker of a soulmate the gorgeous Ruby Santos comes crashing into his life. However, she does not want to love him nope initially she wants to kill him but that is due to misunderstandings and misinterpretations which Ruby has to try and unravel and work through. This story is filled with twists and turns that will have you gripped from page to page, but not all questions will be answered within this story leaving you eagerly anticipating the next addition to the series. I loved how Oliver changed and we saw the man he really is Alpha, commanding but also funny and quirky even with his hatred for bugs shown in hilarious detail. How Oliver and Ruby blossom together is beautiful. I didn’t want to put this story down you become addicted to the characters and plot and wanting to know what is going to happen next. There are glimpses of all the brothers that we love and expect in these stories and their relationships together are a true familial bond and Charlotte and Maddox their parents along with Tamsin their sister, Lou and Harper and not forgetting the other members of the family. The brothers still have their dynamic of banter and action and also the other side stories concerning Landon and Damian are continuing. We learn a lot more about the Coltons, the new enemy of the Dentons and shocks and secrets are discovered that will rock this family to its core. This really is a must read series but I do suggest reading them in order to fully appreciate the wonder that is the Dentons and their legacy which really is a gift not a curse. A definite one click in my opinion, a must for everyone’s to be read list. I could read this series repeatedly and never tire of it. It really is that enjoyable. Rubi Santos cree por 10 años que los Denton fueron los que asesinaron a su hermano Lionel pero a la larga ella no vio quienes hablaban cuando estaba escondida en un armario .... supuso porque escucho el apellido Denton y weran los Colton ....
Ahora que esta preparada para asesinar a uno por uno de los Denton conoce a Oliver de quien se enamora porque el la "secuestra" para explicarle que no fueron ellos quienes dieron de baja a su hermano ..... sino otros que le eyudaran a descubrir....ademas Charlottre, la mama de los Denton tiene una carta del hermano (muy conveniente) donde le dice que cuando este sola ella debe buscarlos para pedirles ayuda. Total, esos 10 años de preparacion se fueron por el barranco al rio.
Ahora, con esto de que se enamoran Oli y Ruby se casan de afan porque queda em barazada, mientras esto pasa casi casi secuestran a Tasmin en la escuela, ella es la menor de los Denton (justo la del libro 7 que no tengo... en fin... mas adelante lo busco) ....
Ahora.....
nos enredan cada vez mas.... Gideon es un Colton y no Denton .... y los enemigos viven pasando la calle.... (jajaja)
Betty se suicida xq ama a Damian y el esta con otra. No lo soportaba.
Oliver y Ruby esperan su primero bebe .... lo mas chistoso es que Ruby esta tan desepertada por no estar mas sola que ella le pidio matri a Oliver....
Me chocaba que Ruby viviera diciendole a todo el mundo que tenia intacta su TVG ... que necesidad ??

But they didn't kill everyone, they missed Ruby. And all Ruby heard when she was holding her dying brother was the name of the Denton's and she thought her brother meant they did it to him! So she swore that she would get revenge on this family
Oliver is the ruthless one of the Denton Family and when he meets Ruby he can't believe that the curse striked and the one meant for him is the one that wants to kill him
Ruby gave Oliver a hard time, and I enjoyed that! I love when the guy actually has to work for the females love

This is the third book in the Denton Family Legacy series by Sam Crescent. Oliver Denton is 31 years old, he's the third oldest son in the family and he has a reputation of fucking a man's wife in front of them and then killing him afterwards. He's ruthless and he makes no apologies for it. Ruby Santos was 12 years old when her world was crushed to pieces. Her beloved older brother, Lionel and her parents were murdered in their own home. That night her brother knew something was wrong because he placed her in the secret compartment in a closet that only he and Ruby knew about. She was terrified but she stayed hidden through all the screaming and gunshots and finally when there was absolute silence she came out. She discovered her parents already dead and Lionel was on the floor gasping for air. She was young and scared at the time and she misunderstood Lionel's last words and the situation thinking the Denton family was to blame. She spent the next ten years training and learning everything she possibly could about the entire Denton family. She planned on killing Maddox Denton and all six of his sons. Oliver knew he was being followed but he was surprised to find out it was a woman and then when he looked in her eyes and realized she was "the one" he was shocked. He knew his brothers would get a kick out of the fact that Oliver found his soulmate and she tried to kill him. The whole family gathers to help Oliver convince Ruby that they had nothing to do with her family's death.

Ruby is going to her revenge on the Denton Family. They killed her parents and brother. They will pay. Her first target is Oliver. Oliver is a cold and cruel as his brothers. He certainly didn’t think that a beautiful woman was going to try to put him down. But worse, she is his mate. Now he and his family have to convince her that they aren’t the enemy. Ok I know Ruby was grieving her brother Lionel, but did she listen to what he said. He told her what she needed to know. But I get the anger. Oliver was able to bring her in, but Charlotte is the one that makes her see reason. We are back to the Colton Family being the real issue. There is a lot of shocking information that unravels about Gabriel Colton and the reason the fight. And even another twist with the mole in the Denton Family. I figured it out but oh man it was a shock. The ending will make you want to grab a tissue too. This book has so many surprises. I hope Damian can find his mate soon. And then we have Gideon with knowledge about the Colton family. This series is going to really start to heat up.

But oh boy in Oliver's book the plot thickens and had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what's going to happened and miss Crescent you delivered, great story Sam Crescent and anxious to read the next book, see you in 2hrs😉😉

Three and a half stars really. Even though it's basically the same story. I liked that she was actually slimmer. Because she chose to become a fighter. I really love that. But of course she was a virgin. And he was a manwhore. Like always. The surprising twist. Was woah. What I would have loved was the she actually trained to take out those that needed to be eliminated. That she actually have more experience in it too before she faces him. To really kick his ass.

OMG..😱😲😮 a MUST read
So Ruby wants payback for the death of her family especially her brother. Great story on Oliver and Ruby with a lot of secrets coming out that may cause problems with one of the Colton member.

This plot thickens. This is 3 of 5 and I’m on to the next. I love a series especially when its complete when u start reading it. This series has a legacy of falling in love with only your mate. If you love love like I do you’ll love this.

Just keeps getting better curse or not
This is the story of Oliver and Ruby but also we get a little bit of everyone's storyline. I like how SC can do this without taking to much from the main characters. Ruby's character intrigues me. She's tough but vulnerable, knowledgeable but acts on impulse and loving but also a loner. She knows that the Dentons are responsible for her brother's death. So she sets on a long journey to destroy them starting with Oliver. Oliver knows that she is his and he must show her that his family wasn't responsible for her brother's death. At the same time he must make her fall in love with him and deal with the trader in their mist. This book has a lot of twists and turns, up and downs and plot surprises. Of course I couldn't put it down and I can't wait for the next one. Yes this is the third book in this series but you don't need to read the first two to understand. But if you would like to start at the beginning book 1 is Broken Promise and book two is Shattered Vows. Happy Reading

Oliver hasn't been a particularly like-able person for me in the first two books. He is cold and heart-less so when he meets Ruby, due to her past, she is perfect for him.
There are interesting developments for Landon and Damien (and Betty), we also find out how the couples from the other books are getting on. Also we see a bit more of Rick, the uncle.
There are some interesting plot developments towards the end of the book that will lead to some tense and angst filled story-lines for future books.

She was forgiven so quickly once they realized who she was. I might have felt a little uneasy around someone that wanted to kill me the week before. So many things happened in this one. Maddox went down a peg or two in my eyes. Poor Charlotte!! If you know about the legacy you should be careful with other woman until you find the one. I'll be honest and say I'm not sad Betty will be out of the picture. I was actually hoping the baby would have turned out to be someone else's instead of Damian's. I think she would have been a problem later. I'm hoping Landen and Sarah wait for each other.

AMAZING. ....
so many twists and turns, lies and truths exposed. Two lonely dark sad broken souls find each other. I loved Oliver, yes he's dangerous and twisted but the moment he met Rudy, he was done. Rudy, out for revenge, her entire life she was alone, destined to seek her brothers killer. She trained her entire life to find justice, not only did this sweet, lonely, sad, broken, BADAS* Chick get it, she also found her other half, her soulmate, her safety, her future
