This is a new author to me. The Lady Marmalade is a three books that make up this box set. This Authors writing style is just perfect and this author brings me right from the begin to the end of these books. Each character is perfectly where they are. So many characters to choose from so I am picking Webb. Webb is the type of person that takes control and get the job done. This book is very powerful and emotional and there are way too many quotes.

These historical cozy mysteries were an interesting look at Great Britain before, during and between the world wars. Lady Marmalade is a true minor noble, but does not make a huge deal about it. What she does take very seriously is solving mysteries and she's very good at it.

What a wonderful series of books. Lady Marmalade is the utmost of detectives. Such enjoyment and a superb author as well.

Includes Beggars Pardon, Sins of the Father and Gandhi.something. Very much enjoyed these and learned from them too. A bit more humor would have been nice though.
