Jumbo mail order bride

I enjoyed most of these stories. One in particular was a little confusing and annoying but overall the stories were good.

Starstruck

I really enjoyed all of these books and now know that I could never have lived back then. Loved how romantic they all were in there own ways.

A Sad Disappointment of Ms. Sinclair's Works

I was greatly disappointed to find Ms. Sinclair's stories to be filled with misspelled words, numerous grammatical errors and terrible punctuation errors. Though her stories would have otherwise been delightful stories, there were just too many errors that distracted one from reading them, often having to reread lines and paragraphs causing the reader to lose focus on the content of the sentence. I doesn't appear to have had any proof reading or editing done before being submitted for publication. I hope that her future endeavors at writing stories greatly improves as I do believe she would otherwise be a very talented story teller.

A VARIETY OF CHARACTERS FOR A VARIED LIFE

This book was pretty good. There was a wide range of characters and situations that kept me interested until the end. There were one or two stories I didn't think were so well-written, but for the most part, they were good. This was the first mail order bride set I've read in which there was a character I took a strong dislike to in the beginning but ended up liking in the end. I like when books can do that. It's how real life goes anyway. We sometimes misjudge people and find out later we were wrong. In the last story, there were two sisters that both ended up getting married. That was the story with the character I didn't care for until the end, and I didn't like her husband either until the end too.
There were quite a few stories in which the groom found himself looking for a bride but only due to circumstance and not because he really wanted one. I like reading those because it's interesting to see how things change, how he ends up falling in love, even though he's sure he never will and doesn't want to anyway.
Overall, not a bad collection.
