So, this book is extremely HOT!
The hero Harrison (as in Harrison Ford) is a 30 year old photographer who hates staying at the same place for too long. He craves adventures and the unknown. However, his whole outlook changes with the introduction of one sweet little innocent step-niece named Magnolia.
At almost 18 Maggie, was used to taking care of her free spirited mother, when she meets Harrison. She is drawn to him and craves adventure and travel also. When she realizes that their feelings are mutual, she is scared to tell her mother and new stepfather how she feels. She thought they should keep their relationship a secret.
At least until after they come back from their honeymoon. But, secrets have a way of coming out when you least expect them!
What happens when their love is exposed?
READ THIS BOOK AND FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF!
I loved this book and the story was complete with an epilogue years later as we get a glimpse into their lives and I must say, IT WAS VERY SWEET.
WORTH A READ AND MAYBE A REREAD!
I would recommend It and I would definitely read more from this author.

Safety: heroine is a virgin and hero is experienced but not a manwhore. No cheating, no OW/OM drama and not condoms. However, it was considered but dismissed by the hero.
Side note: what is with the cover model sniffing his pits!? That's just weird. Did they run out of sexy things for the male model to do and say hey "I have it, why don't you check the status of your pits!?" Just odd.

This was a short but sexy book and it was a pretty easy read. No unnecessary drama and nothing too over the top when it came to this relationship. If you're looking for something fast to read but with an overload of sexiness, this is definitely the book for you.

This was so so hot!! Your typical FD style OTT possessive alpha H and the innocent virgin h, insta love with the whole "mine" growl that's just works so well for this author. The story is short to the point with no unnecessary drama, once the two MC see each other there's no doubts about their love and the sex between them was freaking hot. But of course the cherry on top is always those sweet epilogues.❤️

Can we all just agree that Fiona Davenport can do NO WRONG when it comes to safe, hot and sexy short reads? I mean seriously.
Harrison was pure perfection. He wasn't a manwhore, stating "casual hookups wasn't his thing" he woke up alone in hotel rooms across the globe. He was content with that until he met his brother's soon to be stepdaughter, Magnolia Rose Bloom, aka Maggie. The minute he saw her, he instantly said "Mine". He was so sweet with her and was willing to rearrange his life and career to accommodate her needs. He was a true alpha through and through, all the way down to the growly "mine" when a male friend from school hugged her. He staked his claim real fast. He also did not let women come onto him without shutting them down. No flirting or just letting their actions slide.
Maggie was a fantastic heroine. She was young (she turned 18 the day after she met Harrison - convenient huh) but she had a notable maturity about her. It was mentioned that she spent most of her life taking care of her mom so she did a lot of growing up at young age. She was a perfect match for Harrison.

I loved this one! Sweet and light. I always enjoy Fiona Davenport's books. They always write my kind of books.
The story is about Harrison and Maggie.
He's a photo-journalist and she's still in high school, a few months before her graduation.
His older brother and her mother are getting married and he was asked to extend his vacation so she won't be alone while they're on honeymoon.
She's been pissed off that her soon-to-be step-dad thought she needed a babysitter but once she laid eyes on him, she knew the coming weeks would be fun.
I liked that they love Stanley and Bunny (his brother and her mom) but they didn't let anyone or anything to stand between them and they're so cute together.
I loved the epilogue!

A five star read you say,why? cause I freaking loved this one! It may just be my favorite so far by these authors.
It has all the elements I enjoy,older man/ younger woman,steamy sex ,a wholly possessive alpha male! yup,loved it!The taboo aspect did not bother me in the least,they did not grow up together,they met the night before his older brother married her mother.So if you enjoy insta love,this book is for you :)

These novellas are perfect for me. I don't have much time for reading due to work so these short books are all I can handle right now. Caveman alpha hero, innocent sweet heroine and super adorable babies epilogue once again. Thank you Fiona Davenport!

My Step-Dad's Brother was a spur of the moment read and it was just what I needed at the time I read it; a short book with no unnecessary drama and a lot of sexy and smutty moments. If you're looking for something along the lines of insta-love, or something like Alexa Riley's books than totally give this a chance!

My Step-Dad’s Brother was a complete OTT alpha romance. Harrison returns home for his older brother’s wedding and to keep a watchful eye on his new niece while they honeymoon – but one look at Maggie and Harrison knows it’s not going to be his eye that is on her. With just a few days till she turns eighteen, Harrison is ready to claim what is his, consequences be damned.
Okay. So this was hot. The story was so over the top and until their relationship had to be outed, it wasn’t too outlandish. But I do think that while this was a fun, hot read – it wasn’t until that scene the book became a full fledge novelty read. It had great potential to be a bit more than just taboo smut.
But if you are in the market for a quick-dirty-taboo read, I’d check this one out.

To say I'm over the step-family trend is an understatement. BUT leave it to Fiona to knock me on my hind parts and leave me giddy with a storyline I swore never to read again!
Maggie is 18 and Harrison is 30. I like the two main characters because their characters are very well developed and contain a depth not usually found in short stories. Each scene, from the moment they laid eyes on each other to their marriage and family, is realistic. I had zero issues relating to the characters or the scenes. The only downside is Maggie is in high school. However, Maggie and Harrison's interactions were tasteful. Again Maggie is legally an adult in this story and she never regretted a single moment of their actions.
Great story! If you love a possessive alpha dude, then this story is for you. I ADORE the epilogue!

Fiona Davenport is right up there at the top of my list of authors of quick reads with a guaranteed happy every after :)
This was quick and hot and I loved that our heroine, Maggie, was so unsure how her mom and new step-dad would react to her and Harrison being together.

This is one of those books that you'd wish to be a little bit longer. Did I enjoy it? A thousand yesesss. Who wouldn't? An OTT hot alpha. Harrison is a renowed photographer who travelled the world but get this.. NOT A MANWHORE. He saw the h and she was it for him. It was insta love and hot read. Why didn't I give a 5? Like I said, too short.

I knew what I was getting into so hey it may not have completely worked this time for me but still like it a lot. Oh my! Fiona Davenport does it again!! One hot, forbidden, torrid, sexy read that lit my kindle up – when does she not do that? Yes, Fiona knows how to set pulses racing and keep the body heated up! So Naughty and so Right in this short novella read.
Magnolia aka Maggie is about to turn 18 years old when her mom is about to get married. She likes her new soon to be stepdad. Then her soon to be stepdad’s brother, her new soon to be uncle shows up for the wedding. Harrison is a photojournalist, who travels the world. When he sees Maggie, he immediately knows she is the one for him. He is older than her but that doesn’t matter to him. Harrison is very much the possessive type. He finds that he wants to keep Maggie safe and happy. The attraction between them is hot and intense and quite erotic. Harrison feels this intense lust for Maggie and wants to protect her and at the same time, dominate her. Oh I loved the quick read this story was yet it was a full story and all the twists and turns this story had made this quite enjoyable. And as always , the ending had me smiling because we got an awesome sweet ending. I loved how alpha Harrison was and how sassy Maggie was. I loved the insta-love this story had the MC because it didn’t feel forced and felt quite real and full of heat and love.

Quick and sweet would be my description of this book. I actually wish it was longer.
I liked the dual POV. It was cool seeing both sides and more interesting finding out that Harrison is naughty with all his dirty thoughts.
I wasn't crazy about the names. Harrison sounds like a last name, and Magnolia is tree shrub with pink flowers. And Magnolia's mother's name is Bunny?...
“His head bent low and his mouth went to my breasts, hot and hungry. I gasped loudly and ran my fingers through his hair. He tongued my nipples into hard peaks before trailing lower. Over my belly, circling my belly button before flicking down to just above my clit.”
Oh, and did i mention this book has hella sexy sex scenes? ...cuz, they're lip-biting good. ;)

Absolutely loved this book!! It's a twist from the step-father or step brother and ten times hotter! Harrison sees Maggie for the first time and it is instant attraction on both their parts! In a few days she will have to decide does she call him Uncle or her lover!! This is definitely one I will be re-reading over and over again!! Awesome job ladies!!
