This was a very good read. I think the age level should be teen, not for 9-12.

The Italian edition is only one year older than this one, but the cover is so much better. The Mike Adams guy, who illustrated most of the books I've read as a kid, did a wonderful job. Please, look at the Italian cover, isn't it much better than this?

I read it in one evening, and it was as good as I remember. Or maybe even more because I finally understood what was going on with Libby and Isabel. I should read the Italian translation to see if they changed or adapted it someway, as they used to do back in the days.

There's a bit of insta-love, but it fits nicely with the plot. I'll probably dig up more books by Kenneth Lillington: he was a really good writer.
