In Fillings, Dave Garlock has captured the Oregon Coast in stunning detail. The description is top notch and add to that the curious mystery and captivating love story of the protagonist Lee, this is a great page turner for a stormy day or sunny afternoon.

I won't give much away about the plot, but the story of Lee and his desire to find his brother is central and gives the novel a great emotional base by providing sad and funny moments throughout. The love story, also, provides many wonderful moments, both humorous and tender. I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys great description of nature, mysteries and love stories. Fillings has all this and more.
