I loved this book. Although there were several references that I had to look up and was not familiar with, as it was entrenched in French politics and society, I still found the premise fascinating and the ending excellent. Although highly improbable in real life, it was not an impossible thing to imagine, and the weird thing was is that it was not such a monstrous idea or outcome after all.
