My Baby & Me

Rate this book
For Sam Faiers life as part of the TOWIE cast, living it up Essex style, partying the night away is a distant memory but she wouldn't change it for the world. Since becoming a mum to Paul Jnr her life has taken a magical turn although at times it can be just as tiring and worrying too...Now Sam invites her fans, fellow mums or mums-to-be on an unforgettable journey through motherhood.Charting the highs and lows, she opens up about what being a mum is really like - from those treasured first cuddles and baby's first smile to dealing with leaking nappies and getting your body back in shape. Told in her no-nonsense, down-to-earth way Sam reveals that while having a baby is the best thing that has ever happened to her, caring for something so small is tough and the pressures put upon modern day mums can be even tougher. As funny as they are emotional, Sam's experiences in this intimate read will offer comfort and advice to others, including her own healthy diet and fitness tips, while also opening up fans to a whole new side of Sam Faiers that even she didn't know before.

This was so much better than I thought it would be!!! I was recommended this by a friend and not being a fan of Towie I didn't know what to expect. It was informative, useful, insightful and a really brilliant look into the life of a new Mum.

Sam Faiers mothers in a very natural and back to basics way which isn't for everyone. She gives tips on what worked for her but doesn't ram her opinions and views down the readers throats. Some parts were slightly ridiculous, when she was talking about what she is able to do and spend out on to make her life easier - not always the case when not a celebrity!

For being a celeb version of a 'how-to' guide to motherhood, I found it really useful and have put markers on some sections which I will go back to for future reference.

I would recommend this for any new mums or mums to be.

Only started this book last night and finished it tonight such an easy read! I love Sam faiers and how down to earth she is! I had my beautiful baby in 2016 just 6 months before this book came out and it was bought for me as a Christmas gift in 2017! I never got the chance to read it and it was found in a box so I thought id give it ago while I’ve got the chance (in lockdown) loved it! Would recommend to any 1st time mum, really wish I’d had it during my pregnancy! Sam shows that it’s not about been in the public eye or what designer clothes you buy your baby but the time you spend getting to know them and making memories, It was very relatable, I’m just a normal down to earth girl with no more money than any working class family, but I found myself remembering things being very similar for me and my baby to what Sam did with baby Paul! Will deffo read it again if ever I decide to have baby no 2! Covers everything from routines to teething, made me remember all the lovely early sleepy baby days with my baba

I wish a book like this was written when I had my little ones! I loved the way Sam described her survival and loving way of becoming a new mum. The chapters are also cleverly divided and there are some great tips on how to look after yourself and your new baby.

It was a nice little book but there is too much explaining or apologising for what Sam chooses to do

Nice little read but there is too much explaining going on throughout the pages.. I would recommend for a different type of reading but I will not be buying the next one ...

A lot different than I thought this would be.
Maybe I'd feel different if I was pregnant or had a young baby, but I think I thought this would be more about Sam's life whilst pregnant and newborn stage rather than titbits and tips. Not for me unfortunately.
