Good ending to the series. Happy things worked out for the most part!

The ECA have made their intentions clear: annihilation of NORA and the surrounding areas. Treena and Vance know the threat is real, and they also realize that they need help. As councilwoman of NORA—a position which has been more figurehead than function—Treena goes to the international convention to plead her nation’s case and ask for assistance. With Vance functioning as her bodyguard, she enters the shark-tank of politicians while she tries to make allies.
During the trip, Treena and Vance’s relationship gets strained, Vance’s settlement crumbles under a mysterious illness, and someone is trying to assassinate Treena.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As the story progressed, more and more bad things kept piling onto the main characters, keeping me at the edge of my seat while I wondered how Treena and Vance would make it through. About two thirds through the novel, I had the realization that this is the last installment, and there were no guarantees that any character would survive through the end, making everything even more tense. No spoilers, but the suspense is real!
Sometimes while reading young adult novels, I have to remind myself that the characters are young and more likely to make some choices that aren’t completely thought through. However, Treena’s naivete at the convention and inability to realize what was going on RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER stretched the character’s believability. Even Vance and Jasper were warning her, It’s a trap!
Overall, I loved this series and highly recommend it. If you like dystopian stories or political intrigue, then you’ll enjoy Numbers Raging.

Of the series, I thought the first one was the best. This was my least favorite. I just didn't completely understand the WHY behind some of the things that happened. It wasn't a logical progression of events for me. I thought it was pretty good, but not outstanding.

2.5 stars. I rounded down because I ahead a difficult time getting through this book. It was so sensational. Treena kept acting rashly without any preparation for the reader. The diary was confusing. I thought it was a foreshadowing device, and I kept looking for it but it didn't fulfill. The book felt choppy and rushed. On a positive note, the ending of this book did incorporate a broader stage than most recent dystopian books since it had an international twist.

The series had a really good first book, then kind of went down hill from there. The second was very forgettable, literally, I honestly don't remember what happened in the second book. When it came to the third book, I really just read it out of principle, to finish the series.
75% of the book is spent building up to a war that was ultimately a little lackluster. Don't get me wrong, a lot happens during that war. There's gun fights, fighter jets, lots of people dying, sinister plots of assassination, and an intriguing battle among 3 different factions. A lots happening, and there's no lack of compelling scenarios. But the writing style is what brings it down. It's not as “visual” as I feel it could be, and seemed to have a very uneven pacing. Also, going back and forth between characters didn't really add to the readers insight, as it seems it should have, but rather only added to awkward pacing and (for me at least) made things a little hard to follow in the midst of everything else going on.
Ultimately, it's not a bad conclusion to the trilogy. It just went a little downhill.

A real nail-biter
Another action filled novel in the series in line with the previous ones. Well worth reading again. I thought this was the conclusion but now am not so sure.

Numbers Raging is the third book in the compelling Numbers Game series by Rebecca Rode. This series is exciting, adventurous, and gripping - so much so that you'll be listening in bed well past your bedtime on a school night! As I mentioned in my reviews of the first two books in the story, the overall story arc is reminiscent of the classic The Handmaid's Tale with its "new world order" destined to fail because citizens are not given certain basic freedoms.
Numbers Raging begins only two months after Numbers Ignite ends, so you should definitely read them in order. Treena is a now a council woman in NORA. The rest of the council rejects Treena's warnings that war is imminent and Dresden sends Treena to a European summit to drum up support for NORA's struggles. Meanwhile a serious illness is befalling those that live outside the city's walls, just like it had a few hundred years before.
What I love most about the Numbers Game series is how Treena is a great role model for young women today. She displays great courage and a willingness to sacrifice herself to save the rest of "her" people. Her faith in the inherent goodness of people is truly inspiring (even if she is too naive at times).
Stacey Glemboski narrated this audiobook, as she did with the prior two books in the series. She did an outstanding job, providing distinct and consistent voices for all characters throughout the series. She maintained great intonation and pace, conveying urgency in all the right places. The Numbers Game series definitely fills the void left after the conclusions of the Divergent series and Hunger Games series. Brava!

Great conclusion to the series. I'm sorry to see it end. I enjoyed this book just as much as I did each book in the series including the novellas. Once again the story pulled me right in and held my complete attention from start to finish. It's just a creative entertaining, engaging and very enjoyable series with a great cast of characters. It had a great ending that didn't leave you hanging or have unresolved issues. I actually really like that it leaves it open for the possibility of more stories set in this world in the future. If the series does continue in any way it is one I would definitley be interested in.

This is the fifth of fifty-five dystopian series’ I plan to read for the project mentioned below. I read the first two books before I realized the series wasn’t complete back in 2016. I remembered enjoying it, but I never felt a pull to finish the series. In fact, I forgot about it. Boy, am I surprised by that! This is a very good series!
Treena and Vance both drove me crazy this time! I can’t down-score the book though, because if I did, no book would ever get a good rating. Honestly, communication is key people! Vance made this big romantic gesture and then they both just sort devalued it with their lack of communication and trust! All they had to do was communicate and everything would’ve been better! I would’ve liked a bigger reunion/reconciliation at the end, but I still really liked this book, especially because of convention, the frenemy, and the enemy! We don’t get to see the outside very much!

I rate them on how I feel about the concept, execution, lack of gore, love story (if present & it almost always is), readability (how likely I am to read it again), how realistic it could be, their sorting system (there almost always is one), how much I hate and/or sympathize with the antagonist, and how much I love and/sympathize with the protagonist.

The third book in the Numbers Trilogy. Treena returns to NORA as a councilwoman and agrees to help Dresden prepare for the war while Vance stays behind to take care of the settlement.
But Dresden backtracks on his promises, which leaves Treena and Vance solely responsible for preventing the upcoming attack.
I was really looking forward to the conclusion of the series, but while it was a great, gripping read, I found that the direction it took wasn't to my liking. I found some of the aspects a bit far-fetched ( the technology abroad being one of them ), and the story went slower than in the previous books while the ending felt a bit rushed.
Overall though, it was a good and entertaining read, and I give it 3.5 stars.
The series as a whole gets 4 stars, and if you're a dystopian fiction fan, then this series is definitely not one to miss.
I'm excited to learn that there is a follow-up book, and I'm moving onto it right away.

Well... OK... I didn't see that coming! I love it when a book surprises me.
Packed with action this book held me enthralled from cover to cover (OK, well the audio equivalent anyway). Very little of the things that happened went how I was expecting them to, but all of it was exciting.
While this is a fabulous ending to the series I can't help but want more. I'm thoroughly attached to the characters and their world at this point.
The narration was excellent again, I love the delivery, it helped me get totally immersed in what was happening. Great character voice, conveyance of emotions, and a consistent delivery.

The final book in the trilogy was somewhat of a letdown for me. I felt that the story had moved away from it's original theme of the Numbers Game, and that the relationship between Treena & Vance did not change from book 2. Maybe I'm getting burned out on the dystopian storyline, but it seemed that the events in this book were a little farfetched, from Treena's appearance at the world council, to the conflict with the Chinese. I was hoping for more detail and insight into some of the secondary characters, but they came across as placeholders to move the story forward. The most interesting parts of the novel revolved around Treena's insight into her relative's past - though I am probably interested enough to read the prequel: Richard's Story and possibly her follow-up series Numbers Game Legacy.

I am not sure on the age range for this book (series) but I would definitely say teen, and not in a YA kind of way. The Treena is absolutely annoying. The time line for this story from what I have read takes place over a year. In no way does she evolve enough to even be who she supposed to be. She is very much a selfish, naive child. I have no idea how old Vance is but he is about the only character I almost like. The premise for this story reminds me a lot of Prodigy, and it could be a good story line. I would probably like this story if I was 13. I love YA, but this, is not that. I missed book two and completed book 3. It didn't seem like I missed anything. The writing was not believable to me.

I began this series not knowing what to expect. I was so captured by the characters and their adventures that I read all three one right after the other! Life is tough in this world after the war. Folks live according to a set of rules devised around a numbers rating system. Everything about how you live, what job you have, who you marry is based on how well you rate by the numbers. There are however, some who have escaped the system. They live outside the city. They have no numbers. They are hunted, they are killed. Who's lives are better? Are both sides doomed? Can they be united? Will a leader rise to the task?

I loved getting to listen to the conclusion of this series and yet I'm sad to leave all the characters behind. I loved bringing Chan and Maizel back into the main story. It was great hearing about what they had been doing and what their part in the fight for freedom was. Hearing about all the drama between Treena and Vance and all their excitement throughout the story was amazing. Between Rebecca's words and Stacey's voice I was on the edge of my seat and loving every minute of it. Yes there were some sad parts, but it was still a wonderful book that I couldn't get enough of. I'm a bit sad to leave the Numbers World behind, but I am happy to have found out everything.

** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review ** Treena returns to Nora and just wants to make things better...but with the current emperor..its not going to happen...people are getting ill in other settlements..there is conspiracy all around them..and no one takes Treena seriously..she will have to literally fight for the people to make things right, flee her home and start anew....but to her it was all worth it!! Great series...I recommend if you like dystopic YA!! I enjoyed all the books in the series very much!!!

I thought this series was decent. Definitely better than what I was expecting, but not great. I appreciated that we got to see life outside of NORA and the desert regions around it. There was a whole lot that went down in this book causing this novel to feel more established than the last two. I enjoyed the action and the relationship between Treena and Vance. (Slight spoiler ahead) I was also very appreciative that we got the dual perspective of these two characters while having insight at what was going on in the colony, without them being split up again. Although there was quite a bit that happened in the battle I felt it and the resolution were rather rushed. It simply just ended. Leaving me thinking, "Really? That's it." For these reasons I gave this book, and the series overall 4 stars. It was an interesting dystopian that is more than meets the eye.

I think this may be one of my favorites of the series so far. The political action really intrigued me. I think its weakness may be its ending. There were some aspects resolved, but there are major things that are .
I also find myself very interested in what happens next for Treena, especially. And I will probably continue on, even though I've been ambivalent at some points in what I thought was going to only be a trilogy. So onward to book 4...

After thoroughly enjoying the first book in this trilogy, I had been so excited to come to the end and learn the fates (ha!) of Treena and Vance.
Overall I was really disappointed in the direction the series went in, and found that the premise which had enticed me to this series was no longer relevant to the narrative. I would have enjoyed instead if the series focused on Treena within NORA rather than moving internationally.
I also found it difficult to follow Treena and Vance’s thinking which then made plot twists fall flat.

Treena and Vance return in a last gamble to save their country from being invaded, but sometimes your most dangerous enemies are those from within.
This third book in the series is another excellent instalment. It's not often that every book in a series will receive at least 4 stars from me but this one has been consistently good. Highly recommended.

Numbers Raging by Rebecca Rode was a great read. This was a great conclusion to the Numbers Game series. Greens has been back at NORA and has faced rejection for her ear preparations the whole way. France's settlement has faced drought and they may have to join NORA. This was a great read, I can't wait to read more by Rebecca Rode.

Enjoyable series where the characters are interesting and there are a few twists that change everything. Power and greed always bring war and Treena has an impossible task to complete and if she fails, war is imminent. Alone they have no chance at all but together they may just survive what's coming.

Great Ending!
Numbers Raging is a wonderful conclusion to the Numbers Game Series and I definitely enjoyed reading every page. I have enjoyed seeing how Treena and Vance have matured and change throughout these books. Rebecca Rode did a wonderful job with the ending to these books and I know you'll enjoy reading it.

What a wild ride. Treena was incredibly dull and stupid at many points in this book. Like the previous books in the series, I felt they were too short and needed more added to them to make them feel completed. Knowing that the next novel is about a new generation, I’m not sure I’m going to keep reading.

PG 13 this is a 6 book series but treenas story ends with this book (the 3rd one) and I’m very happy with that because I didn’t know what else could happen in the story and thought it would’ve been dragged on too long. I definitely enjoyed this story line but feel like there were a few things missing that would’ve made me love it.

Exciting
Exciting, entertaining. It made me want to stay up late reading and not put the book down. I enjoyed the whole series. I loved that there was clean romance and no cussing so I could just relax and read.

Numbers who knew
All these books were amazing and I binge read all them!!!! If you want to see a dystopian world not Work and not Work and then bam with the right person in charge it works.
