Jake, along with his forever-increasing alien family, run a busy family business that transports food and goods between alliance worlds, encountering various situations in the process. The human race would not have been considered ready for first contact if it were not for one overriding reason. The most deadly alien foe known to the alliance has its sights on Earth and is set on a path to invade, not to conquer but to annihilate all the planet’s human inhabitants. Earth’s primitive weapons will not save them; this is where Jake can help. Jake has embarked on a quest and if successful; the people of Earth will have a fighting chance against the Silka Empire. There is a big problem - time is fast running out!
I was born in the southeast of the United Kingdom. After leaving school, I pursued a career in electronics. I was fortunate, having gone to a local business on a day release program from school, I was then taken on as an apprentice. After my apprenticeship was complete, I left and started my own business, which I still do today. As for writing, I had never considered writing a novel until I had this strange science fiction dream. This dream stayed with me. I decided to put pen to paper and had a draft of my first novel completed in just a few months. My interests include, among other things, reading and science fiction movies.
I have enjoyed the Jake Chronicles. The storyline is about a teenage orphan that chooses to leave Earth with three teenage alien females. He has adventures as a cargo spaceship captain and family man ending with the invasion of alien species against Earth. The plot is easy to follow. The book is in great need of good proofreader. There are many errors from autocorrection and verb/subject disagreement. I cannot wait for the next installment but I hope the author finds a good proofreader.
The Chronicles of Jake series. I really enjoyed the first book, as for the second, it was just as good. Jake does have some exciting adventures and ends up in various situations along the way. I was so disappointed, not with the book, but that now I have to wait until the next part of the story.
