About the author

Jorge Elías Francisco Adoum alias Mago Jefa (March 10, 1897 – May 4, 1958) was born in Lebanon and migrated to Ecuador where he translated many works from Arabic to Spanish. He also painted, sculpted, composed music, practiced natural medicine and wrote more than forty volumes on occult sciences and Freemasonry which he signed with his pen name "Mago Jefa".
He ran a private practice that specialized in hypnotism, magnetism and suggestion. He is reported to have performed numerous healings considered miraculous in his time. After 1945 he traveled to Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. He died in Rio de Janeiro in 1958 at sixty one years of age.

He was the father of the Ecuadorian novelist Jorge Enrique Adoum.

تحفة فنية في سطور.. ولن يكمل قراءته إلا دارس فلسفة أو لاهوت أو متصوف

رغم قصره نسبياً (200 صفحة) إلا أن قرائته استغرقت وقتاً .. كتاب عميق ومشعّب ومشربك وجامع لأساطير وأديان وطقوس ... لتؤكد على الجنس كشكل للتجلي الإلهي، كما يحاول من جهة أخرى الربط بين معظم الأديان وبين عقيدة التثليث في الكاثوليكية-المسيحية، وهو ما لفت الانتباه كثيرا بل ونقده مترجم الكتاب في نهايته

Dr. Jorge Adoum, famous Gnostic writer and Grand Master of Higher Mysteries of the White Lodge, wrote beautifully in this book about the mysteries of sex, transmutation, and Christ. The English translation of Dr. Jorge Adoum's work is much appreciated, but everything added unto it by the editor was not. I certainly could have done without the speculation and ideas of the editor in the appendix and back cover, in fact I found it ignorant, harmful, and misleading to those who are on The Path. This was a clear key to those “who hath ears to hear” and eyes to see that real intelligence is born within the Forge of Vulcan, sexual alchemy. Certainly those initiated know that this book is not referring to the orgasm as the profane think. (Lulu English edition)

Interesting succession, I find it biased ... Some information is intentionally twisted to serve a subjective purpose ..
overall, it's an okay book
