This author is an instant purchase for me. Absolutely love her stories, especially the Gully Falls series and this series is no different, being a kind of spin off from that series. And I love that in the main her heroine's are curvy ladies, which are my favourite!

As the book started, I wasn't really sure if I was going to like the clairvoyant aspect, but as the story developed, I really enjoyed it and the relationship between the H/h was great, and I liked how the heroines rather offbeat character was a great balance to the hero's seriousness.
Also introduced a number of other characters which I really hope have their own stories!

I looooove this baby!

Finally have the chance to read Aaron and how easy I fall in love with him! He's the epitome of cool and calm, and the good big brother anyone could ever ask for! I also adore the fact that he's in love with the so called 'scammer', Shea. The plot is pretty awesome and I enjoyed reading it so much!

Though I was hoping there'd be more drama, you know. The trouble that's pretty promising at first ended up, still cool, but anti-climatic. I was expecting Shea being

But overall I enjoyed this book so much and look forward to read more!

I fell in love with Angela Verdenius' stories after I read the first BBW (Big Beautiful Women) book of hers. The stories are filled with great fun banter, friends for life, Aussie customs and humor, scorching hot romance between women with curves, sass, and vigor, and alpha men who adore their women, love their curves and take protectiveness to a new level of intense.
Shea and Aaron connect from the first time they meet. I loved how they are not denying the chemistry between them, but exploring it as soon as the time allows. Even with Aaron's tendencies to control any situation, Shea is his true equal as they surrender to the passion between them.
Shea is the guardian to her little brother Cole, and together they have developed a scam that will provide them a living after Shea lost her job and career for telling the truth. The book tells an intrigued tale of Shea and Cole finding their footing in the new community. After the devastating events of being scrutinized for being a whistle-blower and losing everything and everyone from their lives, learning to trust, to count on someone else, or asking for help are not something Shea is comfortable with, she would rather that no one knows her true identity, either.
Aaron, the security expert, is not only intrigued by Shea, he wants to protect her, keep her and Cole safe from the stalker, and the revenge the stalker is threatening with.
Aaron's large extended family soon embrace Shea and Cole. They give them the support and encouragement they need for the journey to find their inner strength again, to find their place in the community, and live an honest life.
The secondary characters are not only a great source of entertainment with their tactics but an important part of the plot development and moving the story along.
The physical danger that suddenly threat Cole and especially Shea is intense, giving the story another level of interest and spice.
At the beginning, the story moves on a bit slowly as the scene is set up and the players are introduced, but it speeds up from there with great energy and attitude, providing a tale of life lessons, affection, deep emotions, friends, lovers, and family. I felt joy, passion, pride, and fear as I connected with the story and the charming characters, lived with them in the moments, and cheered for them with their achievements. I treasure these stories, the joyful joshing they have, and loving adoration between the hero and the heroine.

Some romance novels have the right amount of love, cheesy lines, a decent boundary of smut and a storyline. This book goes beyond a stretch. Aaron is the oldest Wells brother and his book comes second in this trilogy. I was introduced to this author through Luke - the first book in the trilogy and I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, this book was kind of disappointing because you can just see the same outline from the previous book just the characters and the conflict in the story changing.
Shea Winters is a clairvoyant albeit a fake one whose making do scamming people as she's a runaway from her town after being a whistle-blower in the place she worked. I really hoped the whistle-blower story would have been intriguing but it just felt like the author had to justify the female lead for the ever brooding Aaron and so brought in a mysterious female lead with a difficult past. Obviously instantaneous attraction comes in and the characters just know that they are meant for each other. I put down the books several times just to fight off the boredom. The internal monologue could have reduced especially the corny ones from Aaron's perspective. Somehow I didn't feel the chemistry between the leads and the whole family acceptance drama felt over the top. Luke and Mikki as usual were refreshing to read and Luke brings life and humor to the story which is pointedly missing( I could be biased here since I love Luke). One thing that Angela promises on is the playful banter between the leads and this is present in most of her books. The third star is especially for those banters. The book is an okay one time read although I felt that aaron could have had a better story.

What a way to end the year another great book from Angela. It was hard to put down once I started reading it. Aaron is the oldest brother of the Wells family. He is so confident, smart and highly observant of everything and everyone around him. Shea, hiding from her past as a whistleblower and faking being a clairvoyant to make a life for her and her brother. Love the series and can’t wait for the next book to come out. Maybe Ryan is next?

Loved it !
As usual with Angela Verdenius, the plot is both serious, unexpected and funny.
Aaron is "the freaky oldest brother" of the Wells family. Meeting his love interest was great.
But Angela, you keep on introducing caracters that I loooong to know more about. This time, it's Ryan. I hope you're planning to write his story. If not, well, please think about it

Angela Never Fails

Yet another one of Angela's hits. With a wicked sense of humor, a hot hero, and a woman who can hold her own; what's not to love?

Loved it

I have to say at the beginning of the story I was kinda worried but I knew Angela Verdenius would draw me in as always. I love love love Aaron. He wasn't too cocky and alpha like some books of hers. He was confident and smart and highly observant of everything. He could read a situation really quick. Shea was more like the Mentalist. She read people. She could give them a reading based on vague phrases and the person's body language. Shea had heart. She loved her brother. She had integrity. I kept wondering if she was going to end up working for Aaron. I love t hi is story! I love Aaron's family. They accept and support her and her brother almost immediately. You will love this book.

Security Alpha, Conning Clairvoyant, and Revenge Artist, Oh My!

Once again, Ms Verdenius weaves a fun, humorous, and entertaining, romantic suspense with an Aussie twist. Aaron Wells is our lead male character, who is as alpha, stealthy, and mouthwatering, and the owner of a covert, multidimensional security team. He gives whole new meaning to still waters run deep.

In walks, clairvoyant, Stella hiding from from her real past, as whistleblower, Shea, and faking her gift to finance a life for she and her little brother, and their trio of ginger cats. Aaron is onto her scam immediately and finds himself enraptured with the real woman underneath the persona. Shea's heart is captured by Aaron and his entire family inspiring her to recapture her authenticity. However, just as she gives up her psychic persona, Aaron and his team have to protect her from her past, and a nefarious threat of revenge.

The book is full of humor, and sensuality, again with a quirky, Aussie flavor. The characters are unique, and I liked the 2 mains, more than usual both with less snark, and more depth than per usual for this author.

Omg.... I honestly dont know where to start!

I think Aaron Wells is my favorite read as of yet!! His serious nature had me beyond intrigued!!

Couldnt get enough of Aaron and his mysterious ways!!

No doubt Shea and Aaron are freakly perfect for each other. I went through so many emotions with Shea and Aaron.

It was as if I was Shea and Aaron and I felt excitement flow through me with their very first kiss and their panty melting sex!! I need a fan because that was delicously hot... Yum!!!

Cole OMG Cole!! What a sweetheart I cried with him so much and thats how you know a book has hooked you!! You laugh, you cry, and you enjoy getting to the Happily Ending for now!!

I also love the strong family bond the Wells and extended family have.... So happy Shea and Cole are now part of thay family too!!

I can't wait for Angela's next book!! Maybe Blue or maybe even Ryan!!!! That would be awesome!!

As always with Angela Verdenius's book... Aaron's story has taken a piece of my heart and I refuse to get it back... Love... Love... Love this book!!

Just loved this book! A very good romance, humor and suspense. Aaron and Shea are perfect for each other. Loved other characters too. And the bantering between siblings and other friends, that's so hilarious. I would love to be friends with these people.
I recommend this book for everyone who like these kind of things in a book.

Angela's books always leave me feeling good and happy. I will be sure to re-read this book many times just like I have re-read her other books.

Oh yeah, the cover, it's so perfect. It is Aaron! Sigh!

This is a great romance. I love how the author makes the characters so three dimensional. The hero and heroine seem like genuinely good people that I would like to meet. There is a mystery, danger, a rescue, sexy scenes and even some gentle humor. I strongly recommend this book.

Dang it Angela!! you did it again!!

I read "Luke" the day before and i was really disappointed, but Aaron... YES!
I dont know if its the fact that i love dominance in my life, but i really liked Aaron's character. He didn't say much, he wasn't unnecessary funny or obnoxious and he wasn't all lovey dovey all the time. He speaks when he has something to say and he is true to his words.
Shea is also a strong, independent character, mature and responsible. They have great chemistry and they are great together.

Hmm...now that i think about it, having read all of Angela's books, Aaron Wells and Mike Carson (from Cop's Passion) are my favorite characters. Probably because they are quite similar...
