The Edgewood four are about to embark on their riskiest mission yet as they attempt to infiltrate the ruthless Associates in Revelation, the thrilling final installment of the series!
Going undercover, the four friends join the Associates in order to find their weaknesses and overthrow them from within. To do this, they must successfully convince the organization they’ve switched alliances by completing a centuries-old challenge, something no one else has been able to achieve.
The stakes have never been higher, and all of them are about to be challenged in ways they never imagined.

Four book series usually go on too long, as this one did.
Really dragged for most of it, but was very thrilling towards the end as our four teen heroes fight against the Associates to save the world against many odds. The entire scenario had very many holes in it, but the four heroes were engaging, especially our narrators Russ and Nadia. Fun, but I'm glad it's over now.
when i started this series, i honestly did not expect to like it much, let alone LOVE it. and here i am, 4 books later at 2:30 in the morning finishing the last paragraph and wishing there was more. these books are brilliant. they're definitely written for young people, but i thoroughly enjoyed them - the characters are fascinating and complex and, over the series, they develop truly beautiful (and realistic and somewhat unexpected) relationships. these books never stopped surprising me; they kept me enthralled up until the very last sentence, and (as rare as it is) i actually loved each one more than the last one. this series is an overall splendid work of fiction, and i have a feeling that i'll be reading these books over and over again in the future.
Revelation, the fourth and last Edgewood book, closed out the series with a very satisfying end. Once again, the author managed to totally blindside me with a twist I truly never expected. The story is told mostly from Russ’s point of view with a handful of chapters from Nadia’s point of view. It’s exciting to the very end and kept me second-guessing myself as to which group, the Praetorian Guard or the Associates, were the bad guys. I highly recommend this book, but definitely read the first three books before this one or it won’t really make sense.
I think it was solid in an entertaining way. I am disappointed that we never got to see Mallory’s or Jameson’s point of view. Also, I think the author could have extended the life of the series by at least two books. This did go quick and seemed wrapped up a little too neatly, but it was still good for what it is!
This was the final book in the Edgewood Series and it was fantastic. Two exciting adventures for our brave high schoolers in this one. They decided if use the old adage, “if you can’t beat them, join them.” Just don’t let them know you’re lying. Joining the Associates, new missions await and it brings danger along for the ride. There our teens meet others who are bestowed with abilities like theirs. Can they and should they trust them? Time will tell. I like how this series has been focused on the importance of friendship and how deep those bonds run. My recommendation is that you read this whole series.
This was a great triolgy! All 4 books are great. But when I was reading them come to find out that you don’t have to every one. They tell you what happened before. Do you can read any of the books and can get a sense of what’s going on. I sad to see this one end. I was invested in Russ Nadia Mallory and Jameson lives!
The conclusion in the Edgewood series did not disappoint.
I do wish there were some loose ends tied up (no spoilers so I can't discuss them), and a little more information on the fallout; however, I was not unsatisfied and things were tied up nicely.
Take away the supernatural aspects of this series and you get government control and spies, innocent people being manipulated, teenagers making good and bad choices, adults making good and bad choices, family dynamics of all kinds, miscommunications, and REAL LIFE. I think these books did a good job to make it seem like they COULD happen if the lux spiral existed which made me like them more.
This was truly the best series I have read in a while. I love reading and very rarely do I find something I don’t like so most of my reviews are 5 star. I wish that there was a way to rate all 4 of these books at least a 10 star. They are page turning, do not put down until you have finished books. I binge read all four as if I was watching a show. The characters are unforgettable and the plot is eye opening and somewhat familiar. If you read them you will understand what I mean. Highly recommend!
I highly recommend this awesome-entire 4-book series for all who love earth-based Sci-Fi/fantasy. Clean read with no offensive elements, very gripping, engaging with well developed characters that you will become highly invested in.
However, the constant descriptions of the group's 'magic act' became a bit much and too over-the-top,and the last half of the book just became too ridiculous/silly so that it lost all credibility for me!
"Revelation" by Karen McQuestion is the fourth and final book in the Edgewood series. The book follows Russ, Nadia, Jameson, and Mallory as they attempt to infiltrate the ruthless Associates in their riskiest mission yet.
The Edgewood four are on a mission to infiltrate the Associates in Revelation. The Associates are a ruthless group that has been causing chaos and destruction in the world. The Edgewood four must stop them before it's too late. The mission is risky, and the stakes are high. The Edgewood four must use all their skills and knowledge to complete the mission successfully.
Characters The characters in "Revelation" are well-developed and relatable. Russ, Nadia, Jameson, and Mallory are the main characters, and they are all unique in their own way. Russ is the leader of the group, and he is brave and determined. Nadia is smart and resourceful, and she is always ready to help her friends. Jameson is the tech genius of the group, and he is always coming up with new gadgets and ideas. Mallory is the newest member of the group, and she is still learning the ropes, but she is eager to help.
Writing Style Karen McQuestion's writing style is engaging and easy to read. The book is well-paced, and the plot is well-developed. The characters are likable, and the dialogue is realistic. The action scenes are well-written and exciting, and the descriptions are vivid and detailed.
Themes The main theme of "Revelation" is teamwork. The Edgewood four must work together to complete their mission successfully. They each have their own strengths and weaknesses, but they learn to rely on each other and work together to overcome obstacles. Another theme is sacrifice. The Edgewood four must make sacrifices to complete their mission, and they learn that sometimes sacrifices must be made for the greater good.
Overall Impression "Revelation" is a thrilling conclusion to the Edgewood series. The book is well-written, and the characters are likable and relatable. The plot is well-developed, and the action scenes are exciting. The themes of teamwork and sacrifice are well-executed and add depth to the story. Overall, "Revelation" is a satisfying conclusion to the series, and I would highly recommend it to fans of both young and adult fiction.
I am a huge fan of Karen’s young adult novels. “The Edgewood Series” is no exception! This four novel series, discusses the life of four teenagers: Russel, Malory, Jameson and Nadia, as they embark on their new life with super powers! During the series the four teens meet, obtain their super powers and learn how to use them. Once the teens learn of their super powers, they are approached by multiple agencies, who want the teens to help them with their agendas.
The teens embark on adventures as they decide which agency’s side they are on. They also meet other individuals who have similar powers as their own. Once they have developed their super powers, the teens are made aware one of them is the “chosen one” and only this specific person can complete a unique task. It’s destiny! But which teenager is it? It is well worth the wait to find out who the chosen one is!
Additionally, I really enjoyed the fourth book, where Karen, wrapped up the series. She could have taken several different routes to explain the teenagers life with their super powers and I thoroughly enjoyed the decision the teenagers made.
If you enjoy novels about friendship, teen romance, relationships, family dynamics, super powers and some science fiction elements, then this is the series for you!
However, I do caution you this series includes some dysfunctional parent relationships, loss, abuse, trauma, PTSD, teenage guardianship and death.
So, our teen herpes have been around the Praetorian Guard, now they've decided to check out the Associates. And then? Well, they discover the Associates are exactly as the Praetorian Guard described them. But they're not too enamored by the either/or nature of 2 large groups vying for control...esp since what triggered their escapade with the Associates was that the Praetorian Guard wanted them to join up and be double agents. There are some surprising revelations about Jameson, as well as Nadia. And the solution to several things is ingenious, and the tale backed up by those who see their powers in action. Something Nadia does allows her powers to strengthen in a couple ways. And there are more discontented folks in one area than they believe. Reading the end was, indeed, a revelation. I just hope that young people who read the series will make the connection of the fiction in the book with the very real danger to modern day society if the last free nation in the world becomes more enslaved than it already is.
Could this really happen? Has it happened before, or even something similar? There is so much mystery about our universe that it could be possible for a phenomenon such as this to occur. One never knows what the government's of the world know and have secretly kept from it's people. If you can think it, its possible it can be done. Quite a thought provoking read and also entertaining. I could visualize this on the big screen. It's possible!
Russ, Nadia, Mallory, and Jameson plan to join the Associates in order to find their weakness and bring them down. That is the extent of their plan. Once the Associates get ahold of them, they are manipulated into doing what they are told or face the consequences. Nadia takes the spotlight in this book which worked most of the time...and at least one time it did not. The ending was straightforward and explains why they had to go through what they did, but I felt this last book was a bit of let down. My opinion only and I hope others feel differently.
I loved the entire series and this final book was the icing on the cake. Lots of action, books I didn’t want to put down. Funny thing, as I finished the first book, I was away from home. I wanted to jump right into the second book, but Amazon wouldn’t let me buy it, saying it was not available through the app.
I had to call home and walk my teen through my computer (giving up my passwords along the way!) to get it. It was worth it, though, not having to wait.
Revelation what a great finish for the Edgewood series!
I was worried for a while but true to her style Mrs m question did an awesome job in completing the series. Nadia gained healing power thru her love for Russell. I believe their families will be ok as well. A sequel might tell of their collage years, I sure loved mine and they would be together, of course. Highly recommended reading.
The fourth book is finished and i can’t believe the story is over. I will spend the next week or so trying to find another series to get hung up on, and then probably start reading this one over. I really recommend it, although its more sci-fi than i usually read. I love magic but sci-fi gets too real for me. But the characters are great and the story is good through all four books in the series. ***** rating
A "The good guys win and can live their lives" ending. Russ, Nadia, and their two close friends are ordered to join the Associated by the P. Guard but do it their own way. A surprise villain, closer friendship, and new friends as the meet royalty and world leaders. Russ also helps a young bully.
I just finished the 4th and final book of the Edgewood series. It took me awhile because I can only find spare time to read here and there. I never forgot it and was always anxious to read on and see how the story developed. I won't be a spoiler but must say it was great to the very end. Looking forward to reading more of author Karen McQuestion's novels!
I read the entire Edgewood Series and could not put them down. The story was captivating from the start and posed the question to me of 'What If' something happened to make your life extraordinary? The series goes into a deep dive of its main characters lives when they realize that dreams can come true...and so do nightmares.
You have quite a talent! I loved how you took us along with each character during their days activities. You paid attention to detail, which made the story relatable. Even though I'm in my 60's, I was right there waiting to turn each corner and very excited! Can't wait to read more from you Karen!
What a wonderful series! The four teens in this series were exposed to something very strange when they are about to turn 16 or are 16. It's what has brought them together to compare notes and enter adventures they never saw coming. This series has been delightful and meaningful because it's always good to see good win over evil.
This book has everything that makes it a winner. Good vs Evil, A Great Love Story, Courage under Fire, Plenty of action, and Right vs Wrong. It's got it all with a group of young characters who take the moral high ground against overwhelming odds.
Fourth in the YA series about teens with super powers. Overall the series is long-winded. Listened to some on audio and the voices of some characters are annoying. Bit fantastical without a lot of fanfare. Decent series for what it is. There is mild romance but we don’t have to suffer through explicit descriptions of teenage kissing and the couple going too gaga over each other.
What a conclusion of this phenomenal series! This is absolutely the best group of books. I've become personally invested in each of the characters, rooting them forward and watching their growth. I wish them the best for their futures and know the world is a better place because of them. Tremendous wrap up to the story! Highly Recommended.
Well, I'm glad to say that this book finished the series strong. I was wondering if it was going to with the last book. McQuestion came back and made sure the Edgewood Series had a good sting ending.
What a great series! I loved the characters, the story, the humor. The characters all felt very real & were enough to keep me connected & invested in their story over 4 books. I highly recommend this series!
these stories were so compelling that i'm going to recommend them to my three teenage grandkids. they have passed grandmas tests for interesting and blood pressure raising. they have great interest and imagination for many age groups. thank you!
I'm amazed. Typically most series lose their steam towards end of second novel. This series kept up all through the end of fourth novel. Characters are great with a few surprises along the way. Really worth the time if you like Syfy type reads.
