Lo ritengo un ottimo libro per comprendere meglio la situazione degli schiavi in epoca Greco-Romana, non solo dà le informazioni ma cita anche diverse fonti che permettono di capire meglio di cosa si sta parlando, inoltre per come è scritto nella traduzione Italiana scorre molto bene e non appesantisce.

Interessante ed esaustiva prospettiva sull'argomento. Non mi sarebbe dispiaciuto più marxismo.
