Apprehended

Rate this book
Just what is possible when the Creator of the Universe seizes an ordinary life and sets the stage for the greatest adventure imaginable? What can arise from the infusion of divine relationship with the human heart? What happens when a person runs out of themselves and desperately hangs onto an invisible thread of faith energized by personal relationship with God? This is not a call to unattainable greatness. This is not a teaching on doctrinal secrets that must be unlocked in order to experience the extraordinary. This is a book about what can happen when normal, ordinary people truly meet Jesus and surrender their lives to Him. It doesn’t matter what stage of spiritual maturity you find yourself in right now. If you will engage with Jesus on a regular basis, He will astound you with what He does both in you and through you! Get ready to be challenged. You too can be apprehended. “Britt Hancock is a friend and great leader. He knows the importance of an intimate pursuit of God. His journey is one of great courage and determination. In Apprehended, you will be encouraged to never stop believing, hoping, and pushing forward for an attainable relationship with God.” — John Bevere, Author / Minister. Messenger International. “The Christian life can be summed up in the words we hear, believe, and obey. In this book, you will be inspired and challenged to live for God in just that way. You will be challenged to assume your role in advancing the work of God in people’s lives and you will see firsthand how that has been done in every aspect of Britt Hancock’s life and family. This book is a fantastic read!” — Tom Lane, Dallas Campus Pastor / Lead Executive Senior Pastor. Gateway Church, Southlake, Texas. Britt Hancock is a natural-born storyteller. For years he has told stories around campfires, dinner tables, and from pulpits, some of which are now in Apprehended, his first book. Britt has been preaching for thirty-six years and his greatest desire as a trainer, writer, and speaker is to help people know they can have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus. He and his wife, Audrey, have been married twenty-eight years and have four wonderful children and two grandchildren. They raised their children on the foreign mission field, where they lived and worked for fifteen years. Now they pastor, train, and equip others to be missionaries through Mountain Gateway, a ministry they founded in 2009. They travel and speak at churches in the United States and abroad from their home base in Dripping Springs, Texas.

Don’t read if you can’t handle the heat!

Wow! Great book and challenging to say the least. I am a missionary and I was just talking with God about what to do. This book clarified it for me!! Seek God and share His love with everyone around.

There is much more to this book then that, but you will have to read it for yourself to find out the deep treasures within.

Be careful!! If you don’t want to be challenged, then don’t read this book. Go find a nice novel that will make your lose yourself in a fantasy world.

This book is real stories from real people who live the gospel in a broken and hurting world but they are changing that into a world full of the love and power of God.
