When I first got sick as a child, my dad me from this book. It both frustrated and gave me hope. My situation was long-term, but I did heal in many ways. I saw the book offered and decided it was time to revisit this book. I purchased it an read it. Many think he was way off the beaten track, but that's not what I see as an adult. He always brings us back to Jesus, always brings us back to following and serving Him--going God's way not our own. He points away from himself and other spiritual authority figures, knowing it is way too easy to worship them instead of keeping our focus on Jesus. Wigglesworth is also common sense about aging and common sense--such as glasses. There is also no denying a whole lot of people were healed under his ministry. I found the book inspired me to believe more deeply and fully in my Savior, realizing Jesus loves me and offers me healing, help, and hope in so many ways.

This is a nice little short devotional that contains a passage, excerpt from one of Smith Wigglesworth's writings and a prayer of application. It is very encouraging for those who need healing. It made me want to read the entire book and I will do so. This was a devotional, not the book represented on good reads.

Deep, deep, thinking. I didn't give it five stars because I'm going to have to re-read it to grasp the concepts on a deeper level. This man was some man of God in his time and his exploits in Jesus' Name don't scratch the surface here.

It's hard to read a book about or written by Smith Wigglesworth and not feel like you can do ANYTHING in the name of Jesus! Wigglesworth's faith is contagious!

This book is written by someone who took Wigglesworth's messages and converted them into book format. It reads as though he is speaking. Will build faith and encourage action in the name of Jesus.

This is a powerful book about faith. If every Christian had the same faith as Smith Wigglesworth, our world would be changed and it would be a world filled with hope for those who are searching for miracles.
Smith Wigglesworth is a man who walks and talks as though the Bible means what it says, so refreshing. I would have loved to have met him, spent time with and have him help stir my faith- but reading helps you to do just that.
I was fortunate enough to meet the man who lived/ and maybe still lives in Wigglesworth house in Bradford. A Muslim man who was interested to hear about Wigglesworth and to have me pray with him to know the Jesus spoken about in the Bible. A memorable day!

Smith Wigglesworth was known as the “Apostle of Faith”. In this book he details his spiritual faith journey covering multiple examples of people he prayed for and how their physical healings manifested. He also covers hurdles to receiving physical healings. Often misunderstood as angry and abrupt- he challenges this common misconception of himself and explains his anger is always explicitly at the devil. “Only Believe” was his mantra. I highly recommend this book to anyone sick in their body or struggling in the area of faith. You will be challenged and changed.

I have great respect for Wigglesworth and the ministry that he allowed God to do through him. However his main points of doctrine are not entirely biblical. His first one being a Christian cannot be filled with the Spirit without speaking in tongues. And the second one being all illness is a direct attack from Satan, and it must be rebuked. There is no evidence in the scripture to support either of these claims. I recommend reading this book for the testimonies of God’s healing.

Wigglesworth has a profound healing ministry. He relies completely on the Holy Spirit's leading and he is fully anchored in the Word. I go away believing that anyone can administer healing if only we will believe in the Word of God, His character, and promises and it shall come to pass as we speak in faith.

Excellent story of Smith Wigglesworth evangelism and healing ministry. It's amazing and inspiring. It will stir your faith. I agree with most of what he teaches, but there are a few parts where I differ. It's definitely worth the read! "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever," (Hebrews 13:8).

Borrowed this book. Not raised in a “Pentecostal” tradition but found his take on certain Scriptures interesting. I had to agree no matter one’s position on spiritual gifts, there is no working the power of God without a close walk and a holy life.

An interesting and inspiring read, although not altogether Scripturally sound--this book should be read with discernment and the testing of Wigglesworth's words against the full truth of the gospel.

Good theological science. Sound truths. Quite aged in dialogue but a completely understandable read.

Has helped me during a very bad journey with cancer that I am traveling.

Good thoughts on the authority + importance of the Word. Through his writing, you can tell Wigglesworth truly loved and worshipped Jesus. I appreciated the value He put on reading the Bible and spending time with God.

Not a fan of his thoughts on why some aren’t healed. He didn’t leave room for Christians to still have sickness and to not be healed every time they pray + have faith for healing.

Wigglesworth believed that GOD can perform miracles TODAY as He did in the early church and he worked together with the Holy Spirit. He felt with Him and took action! He's like a spiritual father for me, even after his death ^_^
