A thriller writer from England, writing since he was eight years old, Luis has released nearly twenty books in three years. His prolific writing is the result of too much caffeine and not enough friends!
Samways is known for writing violent thrillers with twisted plots and depraved baddies. But in real life he's a softy that enjoys watching films and playing video games. He has a wife that he loves very much. He tries to make her read his books, but she gave up after book number fifteen. Apparently "she has a life" and can't keep up with all his releases.
She promises to catch up on them soon, but he doubts it very much!

Luis has two cats, one of them behaves like a dog, whilst the other just smells like one.
He lives in England where he dreams of hot weather and beaches, but he'll settle for cows and grass.
I REALLY wanted to like it and tried ignoring all the problems with it but I just couldn't. The writing and characters are wildly inconsistent. The characters are supposed to be American and the story is supposed to take place in America but the language and dialogue is extremely British. If I wasn't familiar with British slang and terminology, I wouldn't understand half of this book. Every character exclaims almost all of their dialogue! In one section, the author says that Stephanie never spends her money and that her house is filled with mostly used furniture but a few pages later Stephanie interprets her dream of drowning as a metaphor for "drowning in debt." These inconsistencies made it feel like I was reading multiple books. I had no connection to any of these characters and I'm sad to say this is the first book I almost didn't finish because the story was so disjointed I felt like I had nothing invested in it.
The plot sounded really good but sadly I was very disappointed , everything was basic and there were quite a few mix ups ,but maybe next novel will be better
