I have read these four books over two days, I was hooked immediately and am hopping mad that I have to wait till December to find out what happens next. I have to compliment Ty Hutchinson on writing such a awesome series of books. The storyline is so utterly believeable, the characters are so beautifully linked throughout the whole four books , you do not lose any connection with them and the narrative is impressively woven throughout. These books are 100% worth their cost. Apart as I say from having to wait till December for next book i can honestly say, these were thoroughly enjoyable , totally captivating and definitely moorish.
In the 4th installment of the “Sei Series”, Sei, with the help of her friend, Kostas, is putting all the pieces together to finally bring her kidnapped daughter home. Using the dark recesses of the web, and an assassins board, Sei taunts the Wolf publicly, to try to expose his location. She also has one final chance, in one of the Wolf’s men, that can help lead her, but first she must win his trust.
We learn a lot more about Mui in Wolf Den, as well as learning how deviant the Wolf’s mind is. My minds eye pictured Mui as older, given her talents and maturity, and her abilities seemed a little far-fetched at times, but this is a fiction piece, and it really doesn’t take away from the action. I especially like how, through all the mind-washing and training, Mui’s little girl side was allowed to show.
This may have been the fastest paced book in the series, so far. I read it in two settings and , SERIOUSLY, TY..!! What a cliffhanger! I wont give spoilers, but I was completely left breathless with the ending. I cannot wait to see what happens. That may be my only true complaint regarding Mr Hutchinson’s writing - too much time between books!
This is the 4th in the series about Sei, who is an assassin.
A little background, when Sei was a child, her parents abandoned her and she was adopted by a clan that taught her had to survive and kill. For years she was one of the best assassins, and one that everyone want to hire. But, when she find out she was pregnant, she wanted to give it all up for her child.
She was told her daughter was born dead for the the two years that Sei tried to live alone and get over her grief, she thought she was. Then when she is contacted to do a job, the payment would be her daughter, Mui.
Sei can't believe all those years she had been tricked, but where was her daughter? The job she had to take to get her daughter back was to break into a prison and help release the well known Black Wolf. The Wolf is the best assassin around.
In this one, Sei is still searching for her daughter and know she has a way to find out where she might be. But, in finding Mui, will her daughter do what she was trained to do and kill her mother? Another great on in the series and can't wait to read the next one!
Fourth book of five in Sei Assassin series from author Ty Hutchinson. An outstanding read that masterfully pits Sei against "The Wolf" while tracking down her kidnapped daughter Mui. Sei reunites with her BFF Kostas, a CIA agent to head to northwest Georgia (Country, not state), tracking the location of the Wolf's compound. This yarn is a fast paced 360 some odd pages Kindle, and loaded with some very unique and lively characters. Glad to see Sei and Kostas expand their relationship while they pursue Mui. Although I wasn't overly happy with the conclusion, I'll have to read next entry of this series soon. Yes there is a major cliff hanger at the conclusion. Author Ty Hutchinson is a master storyteller with his Sei series and especially his Abby Kane series as well. (Abby Kane series is just outstanding). A must read in a must read series. check it out.
This is a fast moving tale. #4 is a strong continuation of the first 3, the action is fast and constant as the Characters head in to the final battle for Mother and Daughter reunion. Many highlights come to pass in this tomb, Kostas and Sei's relationship is 5 years in the making and seems to have taken an added dimension. The Wolf is going back and forth on what to do about Sei and Vasili is pulling strings behind the scenes to have Sei eliminated. The action builds and certainly intensifies up to the very last page, does she or doesn't she end up with her daughter?
One more to go and hoping for a final reunion for mother and daughter!
Another sure fire winner here for MR. Hucthinson...
These first four books are real page turners! A thrill a minute, but I was led to believe that there were two books, then no. I naturally had to continue reading on to book #3, then book#4 to find out what happened next, right? I thought I would find out. No! Now I'm told there is yet a fifth book for another $4. This had better be the final installment! The story is a good read, but I feel I'm being duped and led on by the author Tyler Hutchinson. Spending $20 on an ebook story is way too much!
okay, some of the saturated intrigue was overwhelming, but it was totally exhilarating. ty does intrigue and the assassin story like no one I've seen. this was a great installment--- the best yet. mui's story was endearing, and I appreciate the realistic motivations and circumstances. ty doesn't take you far in the story then throw you with some unrealistic scenario. it also held a dark, somewhat dramatic mood throughout. there is a cliffhanger. I would suggest starting with book 1.
This is the 4th book in a series. Follow the adventure of Sei and her friend Kostas as they try to track down her daughter Mui. Very entertaining, will keep you wanting more. I definitely stayed up way too late finishing this one, and started the next book End Game, the next day.
Follow SEI as she searches for her long lost child and those responsible. Continues adventure as clues unravel and dangers appear from nowhere. The adventurous life and dedicated search are never at rest. You will fall in love with her passion and dedication for her trade and her goal.
3.5/5 Although this series isn't the most well-written (and there are several grammar/editing mistakes), it is still intriguing and I am anxious to know how it ends. So, I will read the last volume, volume 5. I wouldn't pay to buy this series, but as a Bookbub kobo freebie, it's not too bad.
The story and characters are great! I just want to keep on reading to see what happens next. A fascinating twist of event that keep you well engrossed in the story.
Loved this one! Sei has finally seen her daughter and is now determined to find her again. This book really keeps you on the edge of your seat as Sei tracks down Mui. And that ending?! Had to read book 5 immediately! Great read!
Hutchinson will leave your head pounding in a good way. As you try to figure out what will become of the young assassin? Will she choose a life of normalcy or a contract killer?
You will not be disappointed to find out what will become you will have to purchase book 5 in the trilogy.
The author seems to have mastered the way to not only make you experience fear, but love in a twisted sense as you not only begin to see how the characters look but how they feel
Excellent installment in the series. Looking forward to the conclr.
This series has quickly grown on me. When I started it I wasn't sure it was for me, but it hooked me fast and now I'm a huge fan. I'll probably start reading the Mui series after this.
Five years after Sei learned of the existence of her daughter, Sei is going after her. Snipers have been posted by The Wolf to protect his lair. Things, of course, don't go as planned.
This book is more of a psychological thriller than an action-oriented one. Sei with Kostas engage Wolf in the message boards and people take sides to support them, Sei works out to get one of the sniper from Wolf gang and gets information on his place and goes to confront him,
The story and the suspense is taken up a notch each novel on the series. Very much enjoying this action thriller with a great mother, daughter storyline
Sei finally connects with her daughter and they are on their way to escape but are cut off when they are almost clear. We will find out what happens in #5
