With the new millennium the number of victems of the media is going to increase. Bert Kassel, former journalist, created an asiel-center in an old roman convent for media-refugies that he has named 'vrijdal'.
In this center he's teaching the refugies how to deal with the press.

Hugo de Ridder's book is a supreme illustration of the western contempory society, his description of what this emocracy is doing to our perception of reality is spot-on.

Having over a decade of working experiance within the press it can only be confirmed what is written here, that is that neither politics could impossibly maintain their traditional discourse the way the media of today is approaching them.

A must read for one who likes to know better what is happening behind the scenes...
