I first read this book when I was in seminary in the early 1990's. I enjoyed revisiting it. A quote that stuck with me this time is this: "...faith is based on one thing and one thing alone, what God did in Christ and what Christ's lordship makes available for me. This alone makes faith what it is."

LOVE THIS BOOK! explains well well, and better than Spong i think. not to difficult either, it can be very straightforward. mine is all marked up. havent completed it yet, but will soon!
