read this while traveling, and it was a perfect book. first of all notes about the text are actually next to the poems, so it is really easy to follow the story. the referrals are correct and it was easy to check back on some part later in the story. there were a few type-o's in the beginning, but since there were no later on, i will not punish for that, haha. xD i love this book, so much. not only because quite a lot of things sound similar to tolkien's world (just check the names of the dwarfs, and many other..), it is part of our history and to think that it was almost lost! these are great stories that combine the stories of the gods with verses on common life and good manners at that time. also there are so many small pictures, pages with colored illustrations and much more. a very inspiring book, nothing missing, nothing left out. i'm thrilled!
