This is quite excellent, but as I have 'Vogue Knitting—The Ultimate Knitting Guide', this is rather redundant on my shelf. I know that it's meant to be transportable, but I don't need anything else but wool and needles. I should mention that the sound of glossy paper on metal spiral binding, although well-designed so as not to come undone, makes such a horrible squeaky noise, it's like fingernails on a blackboard to me! This book needs to belong to an enthusiastic young knitter; one who's not quite sure whether to become addicted, but only needs the right nudge.

I may want to get this, easy for throwing into a knitting bag. I thought they wasted too much time on simple things like knit stitch, but I guess you kinda have to, and anyway what if you forget? Who knows.

The pictures were much much clearer than other knit instructional (knitstructional) books.

I have the big Vogue Knitting book, and got this to keep in my knitting bag. It's basically the cliff notes of Vogue Knitting, but in a portable size.
