1974 folks - on the cusp of finding ourselves and each other, books like this helped us find another huge & hidden eddy of our history. & what we have learned since is that only knowing that history preserves the voices who made it.

the title is from Muriel Rukeyser:
What would happen if one woman told the truth about her life?
The world would split open.
