5/5 for the sheer genius of this man Sujatha.
He is definitely the Asimov of India;
Collection of so many interesting trivia as Y2K problem to Carnatic Music to Chennai Traffic to Etymology of the Word 'Chumma'.

His sense of humour is bound to make you Laugh Out Loud.
His intellectual writing will make you think.

Another awesome anthology. Loved the witty title. It's more along the lines of Katradhum Petradhum than anything else. At times it is so damn funny, you laugh for minutes. Very entertaining & informative.

Sujatha - his name commands respect in the Tamil circles. What more can I say! this guy is way ahead of his time. Some of his articles predicting video sharing on mobile phones, video rental/distribution sites, when there were not even mobile phones around. He is a genius. Though some of the articles couldn't be related as they were too contemporary, most of them are still relevant - like his analysis on humour and jokes. I wouldn't say it is a must-read. But if you like Sujatha's writing, then sure it is...

As usual, very well written collection of write-ups. Sujatha was a writer with multiple facets, he was well-learnt about a lot of topics and more importantly writing it in a manner that is simple and easy to understand even by a layman is his core speciality. IMO, that's what has made him a popular writer. This collection ranges from personal experiences, science, Internet (back in the days when it was still a wonder in India, mid-90s), music, literature and a lot more. Very interesting read!

It is a bloody collection of articles the author has written and published in Vikatan way back around the 2000s.
Most of the content in those articles don’t really match up with the current scenario but it did give a bit of nostalgia for how the livelihoods of people, especially of family man was.
The jokes that were relevant at that time stand nearly obsolete now which was the major cause for not liking this book now, especially otherwise, I think it might’ve been a better read.
A personal diary/note: But, anyway, finally I’ve got to read a Tamil book which had been my goal for a very long time, actually this is the first Tamil book that I’ve read, I think.

This book is the collection of sujatha's experience and observations he had made during various events and activities. Few articles were little boring for me and many were interesting. As usual sujatha expresses his intellect and deep knowledge in it. Always pleasure reading sujatha's books.
