Nicolette Thorne had $180,000 reasons to escape the clutches of Savannah, Georgia. Stealing drug money might not have been the wisest move, but desperation has a way of clouding judgment. In this gripping tale of survival and redemption, follow Nici as she walks the tightrope between her newfound life and the shadows of her former existence. With every step, the stakes rise higher, and the haunting fear of her past threatens to catch up with her. Will she finally find the peace and security she craves, or will her desperate actions come back to haunt her, tearing apart everything she's worked so hard to build?
My name is Nakeesha Cluse. I am an aspiring author of interracial romance and Southern Gothic novels. As a wife and mother of two beautiful children, I live in Colorado Springs, and enjoy spending time with my family and getting outdoors!
An avid lover of reading and storytelling, I find my inspiration in everyday life. I enjoy writing about heroines who find their strength through adversity and heroes who are loyal, with a bit of a bad boy side to them.
Currently, I am working on my third novel, Nicolette Thorne: Good Girl Gone Bad. It is the second novella in my Southern Gothic collection. It deals with abuse, blackmail, gangs, ghost, and murder. Let's just say, it's not for the faint at heart! I hope to have it out by Fall 2016.
I love getting reviews from my readers- good and not so good! The good reviews encourage me. I use the constructive criticism of the "not so good reviews" to help me learn - Notice I said constructive criticism :).
Thank you for taking the time to read my books, and feel free to contact me about upcoming releases.
